Just attended an event they did. Well done in all regards. Especially keeping room cleaned up late in event. Often things get messy, but not here. Room constantly monitored for empty plates and glasses. Would definitely recommend.

Chris was very accommodating and responsive to the changing environment over the last year. Highly recommend Best in Gourmet for their top tier food and friendly staff who made sure myself as the groom and the bride got what we needed. The guests loved the food and it was a hit! It is difficult to explain how in awe I am of what an incredible job Best In Gourmet did with our event. From the most amazing captain I could have dreamed of, Ginny, to all of the servers, they were kind, attentive and flexible -- really just the best. They clarified any and all discrepancies throughout our wedding day and allowed us fully soak in the evening without any worry.

There were so many details that went into this event that could have gone wrong, and somehow nothing did thanks to this amazing company. Melissa and Chris spent endless hours planning this event, making sure every detail was accounted for. They worked amazingly well with other vendors they partner with to ensure everyone was on the same page. We were so glad we left many of the details to them They helped us think through an entirely unique event that changed many times due to COVID, and we are so appreciative.

Beyond their amazing service, the food was delicious and the presentation of the appetizers and small plates were absolutely beautiful. Countless people told us they never had such amazing food, and especially not at a wedding. If you book these guys, do not worry at all about the quality of the food - I promise it will be good! I highly recommend Best In Gourmet to anyone. They are the best in the business!

We catered a graduation party in Fairfield using Best in Gourmet. They were wonderful! Very flexible on the menu, efficient, great waitstaff. The food was delicious! I would definitely recommend them!

Ariel and the team at Best in Gourmet did a phenomenal job providing healthy meals and snacks for our 2-day business retreat this past week in Norwalk. My team members raved about the quality of the menus, the diversity of options, and the attention to all the details. BIG was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

This amazing team led by Chris saved my wedding. We were 6 weeks out, our former planner came back with a horrendous quote and I was at a loss for what to do. Thankfully, a friend had been to another wedding saved by BIG and connected me to Chris. Chris was phenomenal. He found a perfect venue, reasonable vendors and made the planning experience low stress and catered to our vision.

There are a LOT of people in the wedding industry that don't shoot straight. They manipulate through emotional excitement about your big day. Chris isn't like that. He is kind, direct and honest about what it takes to make your day possible. They are an East Coaster's dream. Chris personally handled details like hanging lights, setting up chairs and ensuring all of our vendors were paid.

The best part was that my family, on the day of the wedding, simply had to show up and enjoy it. The food is OUTSTANDING. Coming from a foodie- the flavors and presentation are perfect. My husband, from Mexico, commented that the tacos they served were some of the most authentic he has tasted in the states. In the interest of being authentic, Chris adjusted the typical take on a mojito to serve my husband's preference for it to be made with brown sugar.

He even found a specific kind of fish from my husband's village and prepared it for the evening. Stunning service! I could literally write a thousand more things about Chris and his team. But in the They are phenomenal, down to earth, follow through with perfection and do it all peacefully. You never have seen a staff of a caterer more relaxed and on their game! I love BIG, Chris, Ariel and their team and would recommend them for ANY event regardless of size. They're quite literally the best.

It is hard to convey how outstanding the Best in Gourmet team is.my wife and just held a wedding for our daughter that involved 200 people, and a seemingly unending amount of details. It was executed brilliantly and with complete tranquility by Best in Gourmet. Wedding planning and logistics. BIG's business model includes networking with superior vendors who share a "get it done simply and with excellence". BIG retains these support partners without charging a mark up. 100% delivery on all facets.

The service team.we experienced something from BIG that we actually were not aware would be so important to the success of the event. The service team is beyond competent, amazingly attentive to ensuring that we and our guests were well served and did all this with a remarkable poise and calm. The combination of excellence and poise had a direct impact on the comfort of our guests.

We heard from many people that they had never attended a wedding where there was such a prevailing atmosphere of calm and care. This service began from the moment guests arrived until they departed. Stunning! Chris, the owner, had told us that his goal was for us and our guests to be able to enter into this lifetime event with a sole focus on the wedding itself and without any logistical concerns or bumps. 100% delivery on this goal.

The food.if the planning and service components were excellent, the food surpassed even that. BIG takes enormous pride in its culinary skill. And should. It is not just that the food blew people away. We had a cross cultural wedding. Chris matched the heart of this with simply extraordinary care and diversity in offerings. The appetizers were so good that people were actually commenting out loud.

And everything that followed--and especially the dessert offerings---amazing. Final comment--I have never written a review before. But not to do so in face of such superb service at a truly fair price would be unreasonable. Bottom line: BIG is great.

Best in Gourmet is really the best. I do lunch caterings at work and this is always our number 1 request! Everything they make is delicious, especially their meat. They do a Pan Seared Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce that's excellent and Sweet Chili Glazed Shrimp that is sooo good. It's top notch food that you can have at any event that you want to impress your guest with amazing selections. They even do different "themed" menus and they great at absolutely everything! Great service, Ariel is awesome to coordinate/work with. highly recommenced.

These people are great. They catered breakfast and lunch for a corporate event that was one day a week over a three week period. I can't think of one negative thing to say. The food was great and the service was wonderful. They cleaned up breakfast during the meeting put down the lunch spread quietly without interruption to the meeting. Ariel was wonderful in helping me plan the food for the event and helped me stay within budget. Nothing but great things to say.

We can't give these guys a high enough rating! Marco and Dawn ran our backyard party for 25 people seamlessly. The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and the planning experience with Ariel, straightforward and so accommodating. From organizing the rentals, to the presentation of the food, we could not have asked for better. They left our kitchen in better shape than they found it! Great people, great personalities, great experience - definitely use Best in Gourmet!

We had our wedding at the Hiberian Hall and Best in Gourmet to catered the event. Ariel, their event coordinator designed a menu for our mexican inspired wedding that blew our guests away. Appetizers included items like chicken enchilada wontons with a sour cream salsa dipping sauce, pulled pork quesadillas and corn cake with chirzo and black beans and tequila flam-bayed shrimp in a cream sauce.

The apps seemed to never stop coming and everyone couldn't get enough of them. We had a buffet style fajita station, a chicken guisado dish and a vegetarian mexican style lasagna. The food was displayed beautifully and everything was fresh and tasted amazing. Our guests raved about for days. Everything far exceeded our expectations. The Hall was beautiful, the food oustanding and the staff was on top of everything. Our weddijng was everything we wanted and within budget. Ariel and the entire Staff at Best in Gourmet truly made our wedding a day to remember.
