I've used Susan several times. Most recently, she catered my daughters wedding on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Carousel at Lighthouse Point. Our guests have been texting me for days, expressing how much they loved the food & staff. Susan and her entire staff are dedicated and take charge - I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed every minute - I almost felt like a guest - Susan is that good! Can't wait until our next event!

I have used a lot of catering companies in the Connecticut area. I have had great experiences ordering catered food over the phone and supporting local businesses, especially during COVID! I thought I'd call Susan Kane Catering to support a local business and order hors d'ourves for a small cocktail party. I called and a woman picked up the phone and she seemed perfectly nice.

We started talking about what date I was looking for and how busy they are with the holiday season approaching. As soon as the woman asked me how many people I was catering for, all she said was "Oh, no thank you! We can't accommodate that" and I said "Ok goodbye." I was shocked how rude and impolite her response was to me. I am never going to use this catering company and I would never recommend it to anyone I know.

We recently hired Susan Kane for our second adult cocktail party and once again, she delivered a flawless menu of delicious appetizers and dinner while making it all look beautiful! She is easy to communicate and plan with and will cater every detail to match your vision! Her staff is highly professional and works efficiently on site to prepare, serve and clean up and they make it look easy.

We had so much fun with our guests and did't have to worry about a thing! There's no batter way to enjoy your own event than to have experienced professionals take care of the details. We highly recommend Susan and her amazing staff!

Susan and her team were great! She was so easy to plan with and made the whole process seamless. Words can't describe how great her team is. The day of our event the they were very professional and went above and beyond their duties. Susan truly made our engagement party better than we could have imagined.

Susan Kane just catered my wedding for my husband and I on Saturday September 11th. We had a gorgeous wedding outside in Niantic at McCook Park. It is very hard to have an outside wedding these days and having the menu that we really wanted. We had an appetizer wedding which included a lot of high-end appetizers. We had some issues with the rentals that I got from Taylor Rental but Susan and her staff made it work and the food was absolutely amazing.

Their staff hustled all day and everyone enjoyed their scrumptious and delectable food! If you think you can't have an elegant wedding outside, think again. We had everything from tuna, lobster rolls crab cakes pulled chicken, beef sliders, Etc. The charcuterie station was to die for! You cannot believe the amount of food that we had and the quality. Everyone was over the moon. Thank you Miss Susan!

We had a 65th Birthday party for my husband last week end. I was a little late in getting a caterer. Susan was very busy but she couldn't say no despite all her other commitments. She stopped by the house and suggested placements for the bar and tables. There were loads of yummy appetizers to pick from. Her staff was beyond professional and competent. Definitely use Susan and staff again

Susan made a taunting task, ( holding a 50 person wedding during Covid 19) an absolute pleasure and a total success. The food was everything she promised and here staff was eager to make our daughter's wedding reception memorable. Susan is wonderful to work with. Creative, detail oriented and very responsive. I really loved my experience with Susan because she was willing to work closely with me in creating the perfect reception for our wedding. Our wedding was a bit different because the guests were comprised of people who were used to a very Korean-style wedding and culture as well as people who were used to a very American-style wedding and culture. Susan was open to changing her approach in order to suit the needs and style of our wedding, while also balancing her desire to make sure that the event was held to a high standard.

I valued her feedback and input greatly because there were several decisions she helped us make that made the flow of the reception go smoothly. Also, when I met her staff on the day of the wedding I was so impressed at their professionalism, kindness, and warmth. They worked really hard to set up all the tables and centerpieces the way I envisioned, and they really impressed (and surprised) me with how beautifully they decorated the sweetheart table - especially since my friend had brought a lovely sign for decoration!

They each made me feel that they wanted the best for us and our guests and it made our experience with Susan Kane Catering very memorable! We were also very impressed with the quality of the food - Susan worked with us to make sure that we had delicious options for everyone. When we asked for a vegetarian option, she created an incredibly tasty (and popular) pasta dish!

It was actually my favorite thing on the menu, as well as the rolls with butter. My husband's favorite dish was the NY style skirt steak! And the guests, both Korean and American, loved all the different dishes, which was something I had been worried about. So if you are looking for a wonderful caterer who will work with you to make your experience memorable, then look no further - I highly recommend you hire Susan Kane Catering!

Susan and her team catered a buffet-style Afternoon Tea and Champagne event for 150 people at our office this past April. She provided a wonderful array of tea sandwiches with fresh, delicious and varied ingredients. All the desserts were tempting treats, each was made with flair, and the presentation was beautiful. Prior to our Tea, Susan was very helpful in envisioning the layout and flow of the event - we were expecting a large number of people for a small space, so that was a challenge.

But Susan was up to the task and everything went smoothly and was organized down to the finest detail. Susan and her staff were neat and professional in appearance, and we found them to be very friendly and accommodating of our needs and wishes.
