Our first time here. it's our new favorite spot! However we live 30 mins away. But that's okay! Everyone was kind, polite and patient; welcoming us new move-ins with our black Missionary Tags. The steak sandwiches were nothing but juicy, hot & flavorful! The best. We had sweet pickles and potato salad as our sides. YUM! As we took a seat, the cookie baker lady offered us an extra decorated sugar cookie she had.
It was a super yummy firm cookie with decoration frosting. Not too sweet. It was perfectly wonderful. I looked to see if I could buy more but were sold out. No wonder. We LOVE the place and everything about it! Thanks PapaQ-we'll be back.

We hired Nelson's to do the catering for our daughter's high school grad party. We paid for 80 people and the meat was gone after just 25 or 30 people arrived (which included small children not eating barbecue). They only provided two chafing dishes of meat which would equate to about 20 lbs before cooking or enough for about 40 people at best. My wife called that evening thinking their must have been a mistake.
No return call. We went to Old Southern and bought more meat to feed our guests. My wife then emailed asking for a partial refund. Again, no response (it has been weeks). Based on this very poor experience I do not recommend Nelson's and will likely seek remedy through conciliation court.

I left 5 stars before I even had my meal. Kudos! The services and prices are a win-win. This place is going on my must have rotation list! Not only was this the best sandwich I've had in a really long time the bread was super fresh, the Roast Beef was cooked to perfection, and the amount of condiments was just right! Peter was so kind and personable.
I will definately be trying a little bit of everything in addition to picking up a steak or some pierogies and maybe some of their sauce. My sister and I had a great experience!

Absolutely love the brats here! We had previously been buying grocery store brats, but have recently started buying brats from Nelson's. Our brat game just got 1000x better. The philly brat is to die for. Thanks Nelson's! Also, really excited to try more menu items. I have been impressed with everything I have tried here so far. I've had the pickles, the potato salad, and the bbq sandwhich (pigchickacowcow)! Loved it all.
