Cosmopolitan Catering

We had Cosmopolitan cater an outdoor all hands company meeting. The breakfast was great and our employees liked it. Their team was easy to communicate with. They set up everything up and took it down on time, as promised. We plan to use Cosmopolitan again for our next event.

Due to COVID-19, our company uses Cosmopolitan Catering to provide free-lunches to onsite employees. We are getting cold lunches (either sandwich or wrap) 3 days and hot lunches 2 days per week. For cold lunches, wrap may be a little better than sandwich. I don't know how early they prepare the foods, but the breads are usually soggy owing to all the wet/oiled ingredients when the food is delivered. Sometimes, it is not edible.

I wish they check how their sandwich would look/taste a few hours after it is prepared in vinyl wrap. For hot lunches, some menus are way too greasy. I understand that the quality of foods cannot be the same as the ones prepared right at the order (such as Subway) because vast amount of foods are prepared within a short period of time. But they need to do more research on the menus and preparation methods considering that the foods will be served a few hours later.

Stale/uncooked guaranteed. Hot entres were wither under cooked or had a LOT of oil. Sandwiches were dry. Salads and desserts were good.

I share the same experience as many others have already shared, unfortunately. However, in my case the corporate benefit is not free meals but rather a meal available for purchase at a "subsidized" price. Even if it was free, though, I'd likely pass (as others have mentioned in their reviews). The food is often cooked improperly and at times folks have gotten sick from the food. Commonplace issues are overcooked or undercooked meat, bland vegetables, and inconsistent service.

I will say that some of the service staff at my location have tried their best to provide a good experience but they don't have control over the food itself since it is cooked offsite at a commissary kitchen, I believe. I would highly advise consideration of other catering services instead of hiring Cosmopolitan.

Cosmo is a pretty amazing place to work at. This is an example of what they feed us, and what we serve to our clients. The food is always on point.

This company caters our corporate lunches and I have stopped eating taking advantage of this work benefit because they're so terrible. Not only that, their packaging is wasteful. Not green, not compostable. They heat their hot foods in the plastic containers to a point where the plastic warps around the food- how toxic can you get?

Wonderful variety, you can tell they cook with love - even the salad dressings - OMG - the sherry hazelnut dressing - so delish! even the set-up team is nice and take the time to set everything up along with labels for each dish. Thank you Cosmopolitan Catering!

Terrible food, extremely soggy breads paired with watery meats and vegetables, do not recommend

We've had Cosmo Caters come out before to cater our weekly lunch. Every time has not been a disappointment! All the food comes family style and their menu changes every day, which helps with our variety each week. Our Sales Account Manager is really good about sending me an updated menu each month so then we can figure out which day to have Cosmo Caters come out to cater our lunch. We them come out every quarter - sometimes twice a quarter! They're always on time and always have enough food! Definitely worth every penny!

Excellent choice for our catered lunch at work! Most of the colleagues I talked to were amazed of the great quality of the products and having fresh produce for lunch is not only a treat for our health but also for the taste. We got: * Santa Fe Steak Lettuce Wraps * Chipotle Quinoa Sweet Potato Croquette Lettuce Wraps both super delicious and dresh.

I never tried the quinoa sweet potato before and what a nice vegetarian treat! Served with: * Avocado Cilantro Ranch Sauce (D) * Pepper Jack Cheese (D) * Crispy Tortilla Strips * (VE) Potato Bravas with Smoked Paprika and Scallions * Lemon Aioli * (VE) Achiote Roasted Green Beans * (VE) Tortilla Pico de Gallo Green Garden Salad served with Crispy Tortilla Strips * Dressing: Chili Lime Vinaigrette I also loved the spicy patatas bravas I can't wait having more of those catered lunches!

They used to cater lunches and dinners at a startup company I worked at, back in 2013. The food then wasn't great: the meat tended to be overcooked and the vegetables were always some variation on zucchini, squash, and eggplant. Their salad bar was pretty good though. Then we switched to Zero Cater and then a subsequent other caterer. Zip forward 2 years to 2015, and my new company recently swapped from getting restaurant catering delivered by Zero Cater and At Work Services to catering exclusively by Cosmopolitan Catering. I'm happy to say that their food quality has GREATLY improved!

In fact, I would venture to say that this food is cafeteria quality, which is a compliment since they make it in such large batches. They have a really good chicken tinga and their pork chile verde is SO tasty. I like the fact that their chefs aren't afraid to use spices to add flavor, rather than just fat. And the selection of dishes available for vegetarians has really expanded past just the usual "polenta stack with zucchini, squash, and eggplant." Some dishes are still a bit hit or miss, like their "Chinese" dishes, but most of the food is really good.

And their salad bar is top notch, with yummy toppings that rotate in and out like sliced hardboiled eggs, heirloom tomatoes, avocado chunks, and candied walnuts. Also, their quantity is always sufficient to feed the whole company (with leftovers!), which was always a problem we often had with Zero Cater, both at my old company and my current company.

I highly recommend that any company give Cosmopolitan Catering a chance if they are looking to feed a large group of people. Their food quality, quantity, pricing and variety is very good.

Fantastic company! I use them for our office parties and Friday Family Breakfasts. Today we kicked it up a notch with an omelette bar at work! Everyone is loving it!

I hate when catered food tasted like canned food. My office has tried this place multiple times and it has always disappointed me. Recently we had one order of Mexican food and one order of Italian. Both tasted bad and it was bland.

We are on the rotational lunch menu and loving it. We have never had as many praises on the quality and taste of the food since we started serving lunch over a year ago. The food is an excellent balance of health, cost and taste! They are also very friendly and efficient every day. If you are looking for a better lunch menu we emphatically recommend Cosmopolitan Catering.

Cosmopolitan catering recently did an event for us in our offices for 140 people. We did a finger food/appetizer spread and it was great. The set up team was very professional and did all the work. I loved how they coordinated the linens with the colors in our new office. The only issue we had was the clean up crew arriving an hour late. I had to call them to find out what was going on. The clean up crew was apologetic and obviously felt bad about the situation. She hurried and got out as fast as she could. Overall I great experience!

Dependable, helpful, delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Rick and the Cosmopolitan Catering team are wonderful! We use them on a weekly basis for our company's lunch catering, and they set up a delightful buffet spread within a half hour. They are very flexible to changes (even last-minute), very friendly, the food is consistently good and the menu choices are a great range of ethnic foods from around the world that also please the pickiest of palates. They display the food in a way that is user-friendly and attractive. We will be loyal customers for good!

We had Cosmo Catering for our wedding. As other reviewers have said, almost all of our guests really enjoyed the food - especially the beef brisket. That was a crowd favorite, for sure! The tasting in the beginning of the process was really fun - they set you up at a table and serve the food to you, as if you are in a restaurant. We got to bring a few people from our wedding party, to get their opinion on the food as well.

All of the staff was really nice and professional. The food we got on that day was the same as we got at the wedding, and it was just as good as we remembered. We had passed appetizers, and I can't say enough good things about the chain tacos.super delish. They were very helpful and flexible throughout the process, and made sure the event was smooth and what we wanted.

The only reason we didn't give them the full five stars was because, we bought our own alcohol (which they served). The count at the end seemed to be a bit off - not sure where some of the excess went. But, overall, great food, great service, a strong recommendation.

A fantastic place to go to for all of your catering needs! I used them for my fathers 70th birthday party and everyone is still raving about the food! I highly recommend them.
