Lisa's Bon Appetit

After multiple calls and emails my review is best explained with the last email I sent them. Since they seem to disregard emails and calls maybe a review might call their attention. Hello, I called Thursday in the middle of my lunch break at work to see if I can try to track you down to make an appointment for catering services at my wedding. I was originally very interested with the preliminary estimate you sent us over a month ago.

To say the least I am very put off by your lack of response. The customer service you have is asinine. I understand you may be busy but I've reached out more than a handful of times through email and calls. I am no longer interested in your services. Fix your response times, I'm sure other customers don't appreciate your business if this is how you treat them.

I highly recommend Lisa's Bon Appetit for all your cake needs! I live in Toledo Ohio and wanted a Minnie Mouse cake for my granddaughter's birthday. She's turning 3 & LOVES Minnie Mouse. My granddaughter lives in Torrance and I researched bakeries & decided to give Lisa's Bon Appetit a try. Lisa's exceeded my wants needs & expectations! From corraborating via phone and email with Lisa for the order & payment; to Ian calling to let me know the cake was ready for pickup and sending a photo via text message; and making sure her name was spelled correctly!

They are amazing. The end result was beautiful (& delicious!) If you live in the area and haven't tried Lisa's Bon Appetit; make sure to give them a try; I promise you will be totally impressed. Thank you Lisa and Ian for a perfect experience and a magnificent cake! Robin Belknap

I recently had my baby shower and everyone who is anyone knows that Lisa's has the best little finger sandwiches! My Dad took care of the main course but I wanted to have some tasty appetizers for folks to snack on when they arrived. I ordered 5 dozen petite, 3 dozen veggie petite, 1 dozen tea sandwiches, and an 18 inch fruit platter. Melissa took my order and I'm so glad she did!

She told me that the 16 inch fruit platter I originally wanted wasn't enough for the amount of guests I was having and boy was she right! My guests absolutely devoured the fruit platter and I'm happy she recommended the 18 inch instead. She was polite, professional, well spoken and just an all around pleasure to speak with. I would keep her on the payroll for sure!

She gave me my total and detailed instructions on how to find the newer catering office. I told her I would call in a few days to pay because I didn't have the card in front of me that I wanted to use, she said that was completely fine and noted my order to reflect that I would call back. When I called back I spoke to April who was also very professional, well spoken, and a delight to work with too!

I told her how awesome Melissa was and she thanked me for the feedback. I forgot to write down the directions so April gave them to me again and confirmed that there would be someone there to help my mother in law load all these yummy delights! She and I were both very grateful and we will be returning for our next event. I had several guests ask me where the sandwiches were from and I proudly said, Lisa's Bon Appetit! Everyone left full and happy and my event went off without a hitch! Thank yall so much!

This is the worst experience ever, I placed an order with the owner of this place of the cake I needed, we reviewed the design, the color, flavor, I emailed her the picture of what I wanted she confirmed she got it. I came to her because I wanted something special and hours before my event she delivered a "supermarket" design worthh cake, super unprofessional and not worth it the price they charge me for it!

When I reach out to her she just offer to fix it if i bring it back. hours before my event? Really? If you are looking for something special please look somewhere else. I'll leave some pictures for you to understand how unprofessional this place is. The picture with the cake topper belongs to what I wanted pay for and the other 2 what she delivered

Very disappointed to be left hanging on April 3 when our catering order was not delivered and no one had the courtesy to give us a phone call to let us know there was a problem. Eventual call was made 2 hours after food was supposed to be delivered. Not one person at the Cafe knew anything even though I was told to call the Cafe if there was a problem. Completely unprofessional. I will not use Lisa's again.

Great food. Always delicious. Lots of compliments from my dinner guests. We loved everything so far : chicken piccata, herb grilled salmon, rice pilaf and the herb roasted vegetables are I've never ordered any desserts or salads but I'll look for any reason to go back to Lisa's.

Lisa's catered an event at our house and I was truly impressed! The staff was extremely friendly, went out of their way to make the event extra special, and they left the house in immaculate condition. The food was delicious! I would absolutely use them again for another catered event. Great job Lisa's Bon Appetit!

Lisa Bon Appetit is still my favorite caterer of any! Thank you Susanne and staff for catering our Casino Night event at the Norris Pavilion. Excellent work and fabulous food as always! You and your staff are a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be using Lisas Bon Appetit again and again!

We ordered several dishes for a dinner party just after Christmas and everything was just fantastic. The dishes that Lisa's made were fantastic -- excellent quality and fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors and taste. Every dish--three plus two deserts--were equally awesome! My family will definitely avail of Lisa's excellent service again in the near future.

The salad dressing is so delicious. I come here simply to purchase their Chinese dressing. I've no idea what the ingredients are, but I am hooked. Please add a label or list of ingredients so, people are aware of how many calories and what is in the salad dressing. Their location is not too visible. Overall, great food.
