OMG cannot recommend this company enough! They catered our 27 person wedding at a private residence in the Santa Cruz mountains. First the food was amazing, which was a requirement from this foodie family! The staff was so professional, and made our whole event feel absolutely elegant. They included a bartender, passed appetizers, plated dinner, chef and serving staff and made it all look effortless.

The servers showed up right when you needed them, never hovered, and somehow served more than half the party perfectly cooked hot salmon at the same time. So impressive! On top of everything, it got unseasonably cold after dinner, so we had to move the party inside. They adjusted seamlessly, moving our cake indoors, and had staff walking around with hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for everyone.

I was expecting a thermos station, and we got such a luxury experience. They used our kitchen as the workspace, and left it immaculate. This team is so professional, their food is excellent and creative, and it really felt like they went the extra mile. People left our wedding asking for their business cards for their own future events! Thank you to the whole Continental Caterers team for making our day so special :

Highly recommend Continental Catering! They were the best price and SOO flexible. Christie went above and beyond as a catering service offering their expertise and solutions outside of catering, and so flexible with all the changes they have. Their food was amazing as well, and our guests even went out of their way to let us know.

They catered a retirement party this weekend and were just great. With Covid there was a lot of calling back and forth and possible changes going on. They were just terrific about it. Turned out we moved out party outdoors and the weather cooperated! Continental came on time and set up all they needed to and the food was great. Their team went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding catering business.

Continental Caterers were a dream catering company for our wedding in October 2021. We were blown away at our tasting with them and they did not disappoint on the wedding day! We received a lot of compliments from our guests about the quality of the food. This was impressive also to me because we were eating outside in 53 degree weather and the food was still quite hot when we were eating.

The company as a whole is super professional, all of their wait staff was so kind and attentive. They were able to quickly and subtly deconstruct and reset tables that had gotten wet in the rain. I also want to compliment Brittany who is their coordinator. She is such a lovely human to work with - so thorough, professional, and kind. She really knows the company well and is very experienced. Overall, we had an awesome experience with them and would recommend them to anyone needing a caterer!

We hired Continental Caterers for our wedding that was originally set for 2020. We of course had to postpone, and postponing with Continental was so easy. We worked with Mike and then Brittney, who were both so great to work with. Brittney was always very responsive to our emails and with any questions or concerns we had, especially when we had to plan a wedding with changing guidelines!

They assured us that they were taking precautions with safety measures, which we greatly appreciated. The food at Continental is so amazing. So many guests raved to us about our food, especially our foodie guests, with the taste, quality, and look. My husband loves their pear salad and was actually looking forward to getting it on our wedding day, and he is not a person who cares about salad. Continental is a preferred vendor at our venue (Los Altos History Museum), so they know the setup and everything, which was an added bonus. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and we are so glad that Continental was a part of our wedding!

I attended a wedding in Villa Montalvo and the food was amazing. This was my favorite appetizer, fresh sashimi sushi garnished with an orange slice and green on top of a crispy tortilla. So fresh and Yum!

They catered my friend's 50th birthday party. The food was outstanding, the food was displayed creatively and the flavors were amazing! totally recommend it.

I hired Continental Caterers for my July 2021 wedding, and it was the best decision! We worked with Brittney during the planning process, and she was wonderful! She was so responsive to my emails and always willing to help. They even helped coordinate rentals for our linens, which was super helpful! Because of COVID, we didn't feel comfortable doing a tasting in advance.

We were SO pleased on the day of the wedding with how fantastic the food was! All of our guests loved the appetizers, salad course, and the entrees. Everything was perfect and presented beautifully. Would highly recommend Continental Caterers!

I felt compelled to write a review about Continental Caterers, even though they have not actually catered an event for me.yet. I had hired the to cater my Dad's 101st birthday party in September, after not being able to really celebrate his 100th last year due to Covid. I had give them a 50% deposit and the Delta variant reared it's ugly head.

The family decision was to cancel the party once again. I reached out to my contact Brittney, knowing that with their cancellation policy as is, they could rightfully keep my deposit. She spoke with the owners of the company and they kindly and generously offered to work with me, due to my Dad's age and the ever changing Covid climate. I am so impressed with their responsiveness, customer service and willingness to be flexible, that I can only imagine how amazing their food and event oversight would have been.

I will most definitely use them in the future and I highly recommend anyone looking for a great catering company should absolutely contact Continental Caterers. Brittney and everyone at Continental, thank you again for being do wonderful. I will be in touch.

I was looking for a caterer for pre packaged meals for our small COVID wedding. I literally contacted them a week or two before our event and Brittney worked with me the entire time to help me make this happen. We stayed within my budget and most of our guests loved the food. The food was delivered on time and the entire planning process was smooth and easy. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them.

Brittney did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and worked with us to make a flexible catering option for our August wedding! Our plans changed several times due to COVID, and we were so pleased that Continental was able to provide a drop-off option to meet our needs. Our guests raved about the food, which was fantastic, and individually packaged per request. Highly recommend!

We had worked with Mike from Continental to provide labor, some rentals, and service at our wedding. We got married at a venue that required a main caterer off of their preferred vendor list, however, we wanted Indian food so we had to hire two separate caterers - Jalsa for the food and Continental for the set up/break down and service. As such, this review reflects no commentary on food preparation as we did not use them in this capacity.

Working with Mike was a DREAM. He was so fun and amazing to talk to and extremely patient. We wanted to supplement our apps with a cheese tasting and wine tasting table. He worked with us to select three cheeses and presented them beautifully at the event. This added element brought our winery wedding to life as guests were able to sample wine and cheese during the cocktail hour.

While we were not present for set up/ break down, as far as I could tell, all went well with the help of both Mike and my planner. I didn't notice a single item out of place and the decor looked exactly as I had envisioned. Furthermore, since he had worked in tandem with Jalsa before, he knew exactly what items they wouldn't bring and was able to make sure that he had all needed inventory on site for a smooth operation.

What blew me away about Mike was his attention to us, the couple. After our ceremony, he was magically waiting for us at the exit with one of each appetizer and our welcome drinks. He waited with us while we had a chance to taste our apps (and get some much needed food in our belly) and breathe for a minute before meeting our guests at the cocktail hour.

At the cocktail hour, Mike made a point to find me with all three cheeses from the tasting to make sure I got a chance to try them after all the back and forth on cheese selection! At dinner, he led us to our table through a sea of guests to ensure we got our food and were seated without being derailed. He even knew exactly how to place my dress so it presented beautifully while I was seated.

I cannot give enough praises for this magical Mike! He not only orchestrated our day beautifully but was somehow always present when we could use a hand (and made sure we did not have an empty glass at any point!). If I could give Continental 6 stars, I would. We are so glad we selected them (despite never having met them until the wedding day) on our planner's recommendation (the fabulous Denise of Denise Lillie Engagements). Judging by the other reviews, they don't disappoint on the food front either Please give them a shot when you look for someone trustworthy to pull of your big day.

Continental catered our wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery this past weekend, and we are so happy with how everything turned out. As expected, there was a lot going on, but it was so comforting having the Continental team - true professionals - managing the most aspects of our wedding. Our guests really enjoyed the apps, dinner, and service. I would highly recommend Continental.

They host monthly tastings where you can try a wide variety of their offerings. Also, they go above and beyond catering. Paul and Brittney helped us with many other aspects of our wedding, from floor plan, rentals, vendor recommendations, etc. Thank you, Continental!

I just used continental caterers for my wedding in June, and I wish I could give them 5 stars. It has been a pleasure working with Mike, and I would give him more than 5 stars if I can. Mike is very responsive and helpful, and even offered all kinds of advices and tips for the wedding. He always responded my emails so quickly that I wonder if he has any break after he gets off work.

He also made my special request of Sangria possible and they were very tasty. On the day of the wedding, he made sure that our food came first and saved boba drinks for us (bride and groom). They were also able to accommodate my vegan guests wonderfully. However, on the day of the wedding, they swapped the sides for the entree. For the chicken entree, it was supposed to be paired with potato gratin.

For the fish entree, it was supposed to be paired with orzo pilaf. We purposefully chose that way because the elder people like to order fish, and would prefer something light and refreshing, such as orzo pilaf, to go with it. Somehow, on the day of the wedding, they swapped the sides. I have some elder guests complaining the potato gratin was too salty for them.

I actually thought the entree tasted slightly on the salty end. But, I also have many guests complimented their food, and they really loved their salad. Other than that, they did a wonderful service. The presentation was wonderful and their price was very reasonable. I just wished they didn't swap the sides. :/

Continental Caterers is a top-notch catering company, and so much more. Paul, Brittney, Mike, and team are professional, detailed, and dedicated to their events. I engaged with them for an April wedding, and they far surpassed my expectations for what a catering company should do. I imagined catering companies typically coordinate food only; however, Paul and team assisted with excellent food, floor plan, decor, day-of advice/tips, wedding day schedule, set-up/break-down of equipment, and an extra set of eyes for any 'watch-outs.' My 100 guests loved the food so much that they still tell me how great the food was without me asking. The staff they hired for my event was courteous and responsive. I highly recommend Continental Caterers for weddings and beyond. Thank you, Paul and team!

We just used Continental Catering for a large family birthday and they were just as great as they were six years ago for our wedding. We had a large party at a private residence for about 50 people and they did a great job working with us on the menu and covering all logistics. On the day of the event, they showed up on time and efficiently set up all tables for the food and set up the bar.

We got a lot of compliments on the food - which is always the aim of a good caterer. Brittany did a great job working with us on creating the menu and going over the details and Kris did a fantastic job of managing the event and communicating throughout the evening. And everyone who worked was so polite an professional. Highly recommend, we'll use them again for future caterring needs.

We were so glad we selected Continental Caterers to cater our wedding! They were one of the preferred vendors for our venue (Los Altos History Museum) and their service was incredible for us and our 190 guests. We felt it throughout the process starting with the initial tasting. True professionals on every level and we could not have been happier with their service on the day of.

The food was amazing, nearly a month later, we still have guests letting us know how delicious they thought the appetizers (miniature filo tartlets, smoked salmon beignets, spicy beef and caramelized leek turnover, and melon wrapped with prosciutto) and main courses (filet, salmon, vegetarian) were. They also work to meet your budget needs, Paul worked with us to make the appropriate adjustments to stay within it. Highly recommend Paul and his team!

Continental Caterers catered my daughter's May 2017 wedding, midnight wedding snack, and brunch the following day. Their food and service received rave reviews from all our guests. The wedding was at our home and I am grateful for their assistance with determining flow, layout, rentals, and timing as well as serving fantastic food. The service was super! Thank you to Paul!

We're so glad we chose Continental to cater our wedding. We worked with Hristo and the manager for our event was Cynthia. We attended two tastings (one regular and one vegetarian) in order to choose our menu. Hristo helped us to finalize the menu, figure out the floorplan, and coordinate with the rental company. His experience with our venue (Gamble Garden in Palo Alto) was extremely helpful.

Before the wedding, they let us bring items to their warehouse to load on the delivery truck (drinks, favors, games, decorations). This saved us a lot of time and hassle on the wedding day. The day before the wedding, Continental met the rental company at the venue to coordinate the load-in and set up the outdoor lights and heaters. On the day of the wedding, they arrived at the venue on time and worked very efficiently.

Everything was set up on time and looked great. During the event, the serving staff was very professional and friendly. I really appreciated that they set aside appetizers for us to enjoy once we were done taking photos - we were starving! During dinner, the serving staff was very attentive and made sure we had whatever we needed. All of the food was delicious and the guests raved about it.

There was more than enough food, and the staff packed up the leftovers for us to take home. I appreciated that Continental was upfront about their pricing, their contract was clear, and they don't charge extra fees like cake cutting or corkage. I was very impressed by their food and their service for our event.

Paul, Mike, Samantha and Continental Team: Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day! The food was absolutely AMAZING and all of our hopes and expectations were surpassed. We received so many compliments from our guests. And we are so happy we had the opportunity to eat the food ourselves. Everything was just as delicious as they were from our tasting sessions.

We loved EVERYTHING. And thank you for all of the extra bits you helped us with, including serving our ice cream bar, baking our berry scones, and so much more. And Mike and Paul, we greatly appreciate that you 'took care of us' making sure we stayed hydrated, put plates of our h'ordeurves and meal on our sweetheart table, and your ability to figure out solutions with issues like our sliding cake layers. Samantha - thank you for working so hard on our floorplan, managing our Classic rentals, and keeping up with the revisions and last minute changes.

After all of our emails, everything turned out perfectly. And lastly, I cannot say thank you enough for making sure our dessert table stayed filled and beautiful. That was very important to me, and I loved how the entire dessert room turned out. It was the perfect day, and you were a big part of it! Thank you so so much!
