Went to get some lunch but the horrible bartender changed that to "one drink & leave". Biz owners should hire people who know the difference between service and hospitality. Eye contact & smile : ZERO Drink knowledge: ZERO Friendly: ZERO Attentive: ZERO ALSO, not sure why this place comes up as "gay friendly" when it's anything but

Great food/drinks and awesome environment but the martini glasses had lipstick stains, a water glass was served with a piece of food in it, the menu had ketchup stains, the bathroom was filthy and 2 of the chairs had wads of hair on it. I give a cleanliness a 0 out of 5 stars but aside from that I do love it here. Posting this so that hopefully they can address and fix the cleanliness situation because I will say it was an appetite turn off

I used to be a fan of this place in my youth. In fact a few dishes I had here I still remember decades later(imported provolone in cast iron skillet!) I hadn't considered this a spot to retry but a friends bday had us here and she wanted to try it. We all shared the "ceviche" although it was plated like an entree with rice and beans as a side.
This was hard to do as no silverware had been provided. The "ceviche" had an ok flavor but is not what most people would think of when imagining a traditional preparation. I decided not to order a main dish here, but a friends chicken tacos looked pretty good. I ordered the onion rings for everyone to share, they were ok, pretty salty though in retrospect.
The bday girl enjoyed her mojito, but I didn't love my tap cider. In fact I'd skip beers here based on my preferences. But it's still a great people watching spot.

So I very very very rarely go to bars because I'm in recovery. but a friend was performing in a drag show, so a friend and I drove down to support. They did a phenomenal job with the show and it was really wonderful. The staff was obviously very well trained. The bartenders were awesome and understanding of my non alcoholic beverages and respectful of my recovery. Always nice to see that. Didn't charge through the nose for just soda and shirley temples.

Came by for a cocktail prior to visiting another shop in town. We have been here many times before. It was around noon on a Tuesday and we got a rose wine and some sparkling water. Typically on such a day as this on the weekend you would not be able to get a seat. It was ok. Service was fine and the drinks were just right for the moment. A beautiful spring day. We may come back after our other stop for a meal. Always a great place for people watching on a nice day or for a live music show. Mark.

We were debating between Fran's pub or Havana. We should have picked the former. I feel bad writing a very bad review because the service was good.but the food! Dont be fooled on the nice plating because its the WORST food we have ever tasted or no taste. And the price is not cheap. My husband ordered the fish and chips sandwich. He said it was very very dry and did not come with the tartar sauce.
I had the veggie taco rice and bean with chicken. The rice and chicken were dry. And its tasteless. I thought I was getting sick because I couldnt taste anything. The only thing they didnt go wrong was the beer and the fries. We should have read the review first. Btw.walking back from the restroom, I overheard some of them talking about a complaint from a customer. I should have complained too

Solid restaurant, nothing really special. As mentioned in some other reviews, it's basically semi-elevated bar food. I stopped in here for lunch with my family and we had a decent meal, but nothing blew us away Pros - Friendly staff, sat has immediately, the server was prompt and the food arrived pretty fast - I'm sure this place is way more lively at night.
It has a "town watering hole" vibe to it - I thoroughly enjoyed their fries, they're prepared in a way that makes them have a really crispy exterior Cons - My chicken spinach panini was a little dry

Such a cute restaurant/bar situation located on the main street in New Hope. Took advantage of the summer time and dined in on a Friday evening. It. Was. Poppin. So be prepared for the real happy hour vibe (folks standing around, loud chatting, etc.). The menu was okay-ish. The drink options were plentiful but also the drinks were a bit watered down.
The food options were meh as well. I had the nachos which didn't knock my socks off but also that was the better of the options for me. Overall I most enjoyed the outdoor dining, really cool to sit on main street and have a drink. I may try another spot when I head to New Hope.

Located on the main drag in New Hope, Havana is a place that has stood the test of time and is well worth it. Inside is nicely dark with a small stage for live music while outside is a lovely patio with a great view of the street for people watching. My wife and I stopped by on a cold day in December and, I'm not making this up, sitting at the table outside with space heaters around us I realized I was thinking of taking off my coat!
Part of the area is roofed over so even if it's raining or snowing, they are good to go. The food is mainly 'bar food' but kicked up a notch. You might think the costs are a little high but the servings are huge so it's well worth the cost. My wife and I both took our left overs home for dinner that night. The drink prices are fair with market standards so this is well worth the money.
I had the guacamole/habanero burger and the man in the kitchen knows his work. I was a little leery of the spice, I mean done wrong that will blow your ears off, but it was done wonderfully. There was only a little heat, enough to tell you it was there while still catching the flavor of the peppers. The only down side is I would like to have seen a little more variation on the menu but hey, like I said at the start, this place has survived in a very competitive market and they clearly know what they are doing.

I think minimal effort is the best way to describe this place, our first time here. The food is meh, french onion soup is good, but the entrees quality do not justify the price at all ($20 ~ $30). The teriyaki steak and chicken came out cold, dry and chewy. Thai salmon is basically baked salmon with Thai chilli sauce squeeze on top. The onion rings are burnt, we asked the bus boy to remake them, he said okay and forgot about.
And then the bathroom is a mess, paper towel everywhere on the ground. The stack the clean one on the sink counter still wrap in the brown paper packaging. I mean come on, this is not a fast food chain! With this price, I think the customers deserve better.

Traveling During COVID 19 So, this place used to have "Wino Wednesdays, " but not anymore. What they DO have is a big outdoor patio facing the street -- good for people watching -- so we stopped for what amounted to a nice lunch. (You can dine inside, but during the pandemic, they realize that outside is preferable.) Tables are adequately spaced and the servers all wore masks. Havana offers an array of mojitos.
My daughter got one with ginger -- but there was virtually no ginger taste. I'm convinced they brought her the wrong one. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We really didn't need a starter, but the three of us shared buffalo calamari with enough to take home for the next day. My Cuban panini -- pork, ham, swiss cheese and jalapenos -- was good, as was our order of ropa vieja (braised beef with plantains, black beans and rice.) My husband ordered a taco plate; his, like mine was overloaded with fries -- good and crisp, but too many! During better times the restaurant has entertainment, but that's suspended during COVID. Worth a visit for a leisurely and casual meal.

Won't be coming back. Nothing to write home about at all. The inside is a dark, unwelcoming atmosphere. The outside is kind of nice. The staff is inattentive and frankly they clearly don't want to be there. The food is bland and flavorless. Aside from being conveniently located, they have nothing going for them. Food wise we had guac (flavorless), ceviche (flavorless and when there was flavor, it was too much pineapple), fries (decent) and what was meant to be a chicken Caesar ($16, and it was really parmesan cheese with a side of salad). Recommendation, don't come here.
