Emily's Cafe & Catering

We hired Emily's to cater our daughter's wedding at Updike Farmstead, in Princeton, NJ. Emily and her team were fabulous from start to finish! Emily is easy-going and accommodating, & helpful every step of the way with planning the event. She has a ton of experience and offers advice on food selection, table design, rentals of everything you might need, coordinates with the liquor purchase and delivery, as well as the rental company.

The tasting was delicious, in her beautiful cafe in Pennington and was open to changes to the menu as needed. Her entire staff is professional and the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS (and we fed 170 people)! We felt so comfortable with Emily and her team leading up to, during and closing down the most glorious evening ever! We highly recommend Emily's for any catering needs, small or large! We will absolutely hire them again!

They are absolutely fantastic! They catered our wedding and the food was absolutely phenomenal! They were a class act, very professional and worked our wedding like a very well oiled machine. Highly HIGHLY recommend for any catering event!

I had the butternut mushroom risotto. It was very delicious! I like that they had something different. It's real cute in there and the staff is super awesome

Unacceptable. I visited and ordered a 1/2 Arugula Salad ($5) to go. The menu read $3.50 for the addition of grilled chicken. Sounded wonderful. My total was $8.50. I got home, opened the salad and found one (one!) four inch piece of grilled chicken on a bed of arugula with a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles and toasted almonds. That was it. Assuming this must be an error, I politely called to inquire and was told because a half-salad is considered a side, ".so, uh, they put less chicken." Of course, this wasn't clear anywhere on the menu. Unacceptable. A poor value. Can NOT recommend Emily's Cafe.

Very nice little place the food and service was great. I ordered the turkey and smoked gouda wrap which came with pickles and chips, for dessert I had a lemon freshly made which was also very good. I recommend this place try it out.

I truly cannot rave about Emily, her cafe, and her staff enough. We visited Emily's cafe after seeing a post on Facebook. We were in the hunt for a good caterer for our 10/10/20 wedding. We drove to the cafe and her blown away by how good the food was! We contacted Emily and asked her to cater our wedding reception. Emily made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process.

I didn't have to worry about a thing. It has been over a month since our wedding and our guests are still raving about the food and how amazing her staff was. We have already recommended her to so many people and our guests that were at the wedding have taken down her information to be able to use her in the future!

I worked with Emily's for my wedding a few weeks ago and from start to finish they were professional and friendly in every way possible. The food was outstanding (not something you hear much about wedding food) and I am still receiving compliments on how for once the food at a wedding was delicious! I worked with Daniel and beyond being polite and sweet he was so easy to get ahold of and answered all of my questions quickly and made me feel more confident in the execution of my "big day." Special thanks to all of the staff who set up my wedding outside, only for it to start down pouring and them having to dry off the chairs so I could live my dream of being married outside at a winery (I don't know if I was able to thank them that day or not it was such a blur). Oh, the food at the cafe is outstanding as well! You will not be disappointed with Emily's!

Emily's catered my 50th birthday party and it was fabulous! Samantha helped me plan a unique menu with interesting choices and included options for vegans in our family. Our guests raved about the delicious food. The chefs and servers were friendly and beyond efficient- every detail was tended to with a smile. They left the site where our event was held in as beautiful condition as it was when they arrived. Thank you Emily's!

Emily's catered a wedding for my clients at the Mountain Lakes House in Princeton. The staff was so attentive, detailed, and helpful. The food was delicious. With Beth's help, everything we had planned worked out perfectly for our clients. Can't wait to work with Emily's again. Highly recommend.

Emily's has been my go to place for catering business lunches for the last 10 years. Their presentations are lovely and tastes even better than it looks. They consistently serve high quality food that will please the most discerning palate. They will not disappoint! Their cafe and catering staff are friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to work with.
