Papa Joe's Restaurant

Horrible. Everything was horrible service server and food. Calamari was gooey and old very salty. I ordered meat ravioli tasted very bad meat smelled funny and it was still cold in the middle. My daughter chicken parmigiana was disgusting chicken was hard like a rock she couldn't cut it. Pasta was sour and the food was cold so that means it came out from a microwave. The server gave us attitude when we told her that the food is old and nasty. I will never ever dine there again.

Extremely beautiful interior! Beautiful ceiling with strung lights, window treatments, and nice bar. I would recommend moving the excess furniture from the little alcove along with the DJ equipment to another, less obvious location. Pizza was delicious! Plenty of parking available.

Sorry, I ate to much here and forgot to take pictures, top nitch place, amazing service, great food, good drinks, first time here! I loved this place and cant wait to go back and try the pizza. We had the soup, salad, pasta salad. The chicken was super. The sausage was perfect. Amazing service for large groups!

This place was great. I liked the ambiance. There was a live piano player and a Magician going to every table doing magic tricks while you waited for your food. He was really good and funny. We didn't wait long to be seated and it was 10 of us. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place for a date night or family dinner. The drinks weren't that strong but everything else was great

My wife and I had our daughters Christening dinner here after Church on 2/20/22. We couldn't be happier with our choice of venue. From our past experience, family style is usually just good not great. That couldn't be further from the truth with what our guests were served. The food was OUTSTANDING! Hot, fresh, delicious! Our guests had no even semi negative comments (I come from a Polish family that are not shy to voice opinions.especially my mother lol) She loved everything.

The service was fantastic! They were proactive and refilled plates that were running low without us asking. Tara at the bar didn't skip a beat and kept all of our guests drinks full and was extremely personable. We would give Papa Joes 10 stars if we could! You can honestly tell that the owners strive to make their guests feel like they're simply having a killer dinner and drinks. We will definitely have our future gatherings here. Special thanks to Tony, Mike, Tara, our great servers, and cooks!

I recently dined at Papa Joe's in Orland Park for my Aunt's birthday. I have to give a big shoutout to Katie, who answered my questions over the phone about my upcoming visit for dinner and she made sure we had the most popular/best table in the dining room. She was so nice, friendly and accommodating! She really represents this restaurant well. Thank you Katie for all you did-- Our server was Nikki.

She was also very nice and friendly and kindly brought us more of the hot fresh complimentary bread when we wanted more. Our food came out correctly and all, however it was noticed by my family and I that the dinner course was brought out way too fast, as I was just getting started on my salad, literally, and finishing my -just lukewarm- cream of spinach soup.

I wish the soup would have been served hot. Not Nikki's fault. I should have said something about the not-up-to-par temp, but I wanted to not make a fuss about it and have it nooked. I had to kindly ask for my wonderful looking plate of lasagna to be kept warm in the hot window while I ate my salad. Timing the courses would have made the experience better.

I did not get to really enjoy my salad. The bread and the lasagna were so good though! We weren't given any dessert plates or spoons/forks for the tiramisu that I ordered. It was awkward sitting there with the dessert in front of us but nothing to eat it with as the table was pretty much cleared of everything by the busser before the tiramisu arrived.

We ended up just taking the tiramisu to-go. It was so creamy and yummy, and we did enjoy it at home. Although Papa Joe's is not a fine dining establishment, I just wish the courses would have been timed better according to the guests' pace. I appreciate how friendly the staff is and will dine-in again in the future.

Would have given 2.5 if possible. Server was ok just no personality. calamari was just a greasy mess, and since we ordered pizza not "dinner" there was a charge for bread. Do better Papa Joe is rolling in his grave.

Best Italian food in Orland Park. From pizza to pasta and specialty drinks you will not be disappointed. The serving size makes a doggy bag a necessity and the staff is awesome. I have been a customer for more than 15 years. Cannot recommend it more.

We were on vacation in October from Phoenix to see family in Orland and stopped in to eat at Papa Joe's. I have to say it was one of the best meals we had on our week long trip. The food was amazing and enough to feed an army. All three of us had something different and of course we all shared with each other and each dish was as good as the other.

The hospitality was warm and welcoming. The bread and olive oil served prior to dinner was the start of an authentic Italian dinner that we are still talking about! Thanks Papa Joe's for a wonderful meal! Wish you would open one in Phoenix there are so many people from Chicago here that I'm sure you would be just as big a hit here!

Got mixed feelings about this place. I'm visiting the area for a short time and have been to this restaurant twice now. The first time we came was a 5-star experience for sure. The service was great, the food was great. no complaints. The second visit on the other hand. not so great. Without getting too long and drawn out, I'll just say that the service felt generally unwelcoming and our server wasn't very friendly and often seemed to forget about our table.

My meal (Shrimp De Jonghe) was mediocre at best and certainly not worth what I paid for it. My husband had the Caesar salad (which has cold chicken on it) and now has food poisoning, so there's that too. On the flip slide, those cheese sticks were pretty good. Would I come back? Probably yes actually, but only due to the first experience that we had. I wouldn't want the same server we had tonight though, for sure.

Soft lighting makes you feel like you are dining in high style. Prices are very reasonable. I'm a pizza man and they did pizza right, firm crust, distinctive sauce, great tasting cheese. Our server was polite and attentative. My wife and I stopped here on a whim on our way to another restaurant. We were just trying to get out of a downpour. We now plan to become regulars.

My wife and I come up to visit her family frequently and we order from Papa Joe's at least once per visit. Normally we have a very positive experience, however the last two times we ordered it has been the oposite. We ordered 2 large pizzas and two orders of baked mostocholie for a family gathering. Both of the pizza's had their toppings slide off (I only took a picture of the worst one), neither of the baked mostocholies had the top layer if cheese and one had very little sause.

In the previous order we had the same issue with the mostocholie (no cheese on top) and one of our pizzas was undercooked and not sliced while the other was overcooked. Both of these orders were placed on a Saturday evening so I am assuming that there was a lot of activity during that time so I could understand this happening once and would probably not thought anything of it but twice in a row is the start of a problem.

If volumes are that high have the person taking orders let people know that due to high volumes there may be an extended wait or that some items may not be available for delivery. This would be much more acceptable than paying for food that is incorrectly prepared or damaged in transit. The quality of the food is why we are ordering from Papa Joe's and not Papa John's.

This is one if the only restaurants we could find that currently has indoor dining. have visited this restaurant in around 15 years, but the food was still amazing as I last experienced. Our server Taylor took very good care of us. The ambiance was very warm and comfortable. Sitting near the fireplace helped set the mood as well. Our food was quite delicious.

We definitely received good portions of all that we ordered. The tiramisu was a delicious treat to top off dinner. Although there were many guest in and out throughout the night it didnt feel over crowded. We will be back in the future to try some other menu items that stood out. kudos to the chef.
