This was my first time here, I did like that they have outdoor sitting, inside looks pretty cozy for my taste too. Drink was really good, I did enjoy it. I gave 4 stars for food just because it was too much bread for my sandwich. It would be perfect with different kind of bread. Overall I did enjoy my lunch there. Luccas never disappoints. I ordered the bolognese for lunch for myself a few times and I typically get 3 meals out of it and it is delicious! I order the kids chicken fingers and fries to split between my 2 younger daughters and it satisfies them both. They also like this better than anywhere else! Great portions for the price and really tasty and quality food.
I only order delivery and their delivery guy is the best, handles everything with care and I can tell the dude cares about the place he works.and in my opinion speaks volumes about Luccas. Great portions at a decent price for me and the most satisfying food in the area!

We ate a bunch of food. All was great! Had a pizza for an appetizer that was delicious. And bread on the table like the old days! Great service, unrushed but super professional. Ownership obviously know what they're doing. We were just out walking after seeing a film and walked passed Luca's, it was filled with people which is a good sign, and gave it a shot.

Their grilled vegetable pizza with smoked mozzarella is like NO OTHER PEOPLE makes well done and cut it at home to keep the crust even crispier if you have it delivered. Sometimes the "kids" that answer the phone act like they were brought up with the lack of societal influence but the managers always smooth things out.

The restaurant was beautiful outside seating was great after it just said rain nobody was outdoors. Our server was from Italy. She was a nice lady. She made us feel like we were at home and the food was spectacular. We're eating it right now we got a bottle of Italian wine to make sure it was still just as amazing and it is Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5. More

Sat outside with a group of girlfriends. We had the robiola appetizer, which was excellent. However, I ordered a wedge salad with grilled chicken and it came out with no chicken. Our waiter was not very attentive. By the time I got the chicken I was done eating my salad. Disappointed. Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5. More

Most of the food we had here was terrific - stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and Greek pizza for our meal. These were both excellent. I was disappointed in the chocolate chip cannoli. The filling was excellent but the shell was so thick and hard that I could barely bite into it and could not break it with the spoon. I ended up scooping out what I could of the filling of part of one.
I took the rest home but ended up throwing them out. I've never had cannoli with this rock-hard type of shell; it's usually a flaky type of pastry. The service was fantastic. The staff was all very attentive. The atmosphere of Lucca's was lovely - it is decorated pleasantly, clothe napkins and table clothes were a plus, too! A couple of other complaints - the Coke I ordered was an 8 ounce bottle - for $3.95.
At least put on the menu that you're getting an 8 ounce serving. The price for the quantity is ridiculous. Also if you're wanting to use a credit card, they will hit you with the 3.5% fee for the privilege. I read a review (after my visit) that debit cards can be used for free but that is not posted anywhere. In fact, I only noticed the 3.5% fee when I was ready to pay - it was on the bill. Would I go again? Yes, I would. But definitely won't be spending 4 bucks on a Coke! And next time I'd pick another dessert!

Absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I came in for a late dinner Tuesday night as we were visiting from Indiana. Our waitress, I believe her name is Sarah, was the sweetest! The food was incredible! My husband loved his Lucca's Margarita pizza and I had the fusilli sun-dried tomato pasta, both out of this world. So much flavor and great portions too. Sarah was so kind and brought me a slice of tiramisu cake since my hubby told her we were celebrating my birthday.
Not a fan of tiramisu but this piece of cake changed my mind in just one bite! We are already planning our next meals for next time! Thank you so much for a great dining experience, five stars is not enough! :

My husband and I met a group of friends here for dinner. It was difficult to find which door to enter. After figuring out how to enter the restaurant, I wanted to try some of the bread that was on our table. The first butter that I took had already been partially used by the people who occupied the table before us and put back in the butter dish. My husband found a dirty plate among the clean plates. Lucca's needs to work on their cleanliness.
We came in during dinner hours. It was very noisy and I had trouble hearing people at our table. As time went on and the restaurant cleared out, the noise level became more acceptable. The bread was fresh and came with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, and butter. We ordered fried calamari, jalapeno poppers, and the antipasto plate for appetizers. For entrees we had lasagna and chicken Parmesan.
We had tiaramisu and double chocolate cake for dessert. Overall, the food was above average and enjoyable. The sauces were bland and could have used some more spices. The server we had was very nice and welcoming. Overall, Lucca's is a nice option for Italian.

I love this place, they make my favorite Sicilian pizza and some of my favorite hot wings. Whenever I'm in the mood for a STRONG pizza that's not deep dish, it's gonna be Luccas. They have mastered the sicilian pie like none other I've had in the Chicagoland area. The cheese is excellent, the sauce is perfect, the crust is often the highlight, so buttery and perfectly seasoned. It can also feed a football team the thing is so large, I swear it weighs 20lbs! Their wings are also always on my order, fried very well and the sauce is just on point.

Great sweet tasting chicken marsala! Sauteed in a delicious sweet sauce. Fried calamari and the caprese salad were awesome as well. I thought I was going to take dessert to go.one small bite changed those plans. Excellent taramusu to finish a well prepared meal. I'll be back to try their pizza which looks simply irresistible.

We always used to get takeout from here, notably the vodka pasta (cavatelli in vodka cream sauce) which is an 11 out of 10. Wish we had tried dining in more often. April 2023. Ate in the dining room and it went from 5 to 4 stars for me. The grilled calamari was good but it is a huge portion and tastes off. The bruschetta is also kind of odd. Took forever to get our food and my 2nd drink.
Also the high top tables and chairs are extremely uncomfortable and the place is super busy with people coming in and getting takeout or waiting for a table. Sitting in the main dining room is not a great experience. The restrooms are also tiny.

Both the food and atmosphere was good. I am a huge Skirt Steak fan and when i seen it on the menu I was excited. The huge disappointment with the steak was whoever cooked it must have poured a ton of Salt on it and that ruined it. It was unbearable. tried scraping it off and that didn't work. I left half of it on the plate. The cook must have soaked or marinated it in a bath of saltwater.
If we go again I will definitely request "no salt" on it. Everything else was great but please tell the cook that there is a Salt shaker on every table and we can sprinkle it on ourselves!

Thoroughly impressed with everything I've had from Lucca's, and at this point it's probably at least a quarter of the menu. Our office in McCook orders Lucca's for nearly every client visit and we get a ton of rave reviews - especially about the pizza. We like them so much that we called and arranged for them to deliver to our Chicago location when we had a large delegation visiting from Italy.

This is my newest favorite spot. Literally everything I have had here is just amazing. My bestie and I have gone back several times over the past few weeks and we make sure to always get the spinach salad. One of the best salads I have ever had! Period! I also recently treated my parents to a late lunch and the food and service were nothing short of amazing. I love this place, everything about it. The service, food, atmosphere. Go! You won't be sorry!

Super cute place, the decor and atmosphere is very sophisticated and it was pleasant inside. The food was good. We all ordered something different. From sandwiches, soups and pasta. Everything was really tasty except the soup. We all got minestrone and honestly it tasted very watered down. The dessert however was very good. Service was fairly fast, and the waitress was very nice.

I love Lucca's they have a wide range of options for gluten free. Enjoyed latest the gluten free pasta with vodka cream sauce and chicken. Very filling and flavorful! Also tried a French Martini for the first time which may be a new favorite. Would recommend Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5. More

Was there for lunch, food was good, not amazing, nothing spectacular, the gnocchi and tortellini was cooked perfectly Al-dente. Where it loses a star is in its service. A little slow, when we got there. we did see a sign to just get ourselves seated so we did that. Chicken tenders were over fried so wasn't a nice bite, bolognese was good, a little strong with tomatoes but I liked it.
Overall a nice experience outdoor dinning. I should also add that the menu online didn't match the menu there, there's no appetizers on the menu, but you can see some covered on the bar menu but it is still different.

It was a nice escape to eat outside after not being able to do so in over a year. It's that classic Italian restaurant vibes in a great suburban town. The food came out was great and fresh. I ordered the BBQ pizza and thought they did a fantastic job. Along with some appetizers you're more then likely to leave full.
