Joe Leone's philosophy is a definition; Excellence (n): a tradition built upon training, quality and service. Simply defined but deep in significance and relevance in all that we represent. Co-founded in the spring of 1997 in Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ by Joseph Leone Introna and John Hilla, Joe Leone's originated from the passion for baking, cooking and dedication instilled by Joe's grandparents and John's determination to achieve success for himself and his brother-in-law.
The desire to be extraordinary at the ordinary, constantly hone our craft, remain relevant to the industry while remaining true to our standards and to realize professional success while making a difference in the community.

I ordered 1 6' sub, 6 focaccia specialty sandwiches, & 1 med antipasto platter and it was more than enough to feed 50 hungry people. I even had someone ask if they could bring some Joe Leone's home to their boyfriend as they has never had the opportunity to try your awesome foods. I have used your catering in the past several times and will continue to in the future.
We drive 1 1/2 hours away just to have some of the best food you'll ever have. Thank you for making my daughter's baby shower over the top. It was a win, win with every single person.

The best Italian specialty store ever and so much more You can get so many great things here, you won't know what to buy! Hot menu changes daily. Tons of hot dishes and sides made fresh each day as well as regular menu items available always and an enormous collection of various breads and rolls. Not inexpensive but great stuff rarely is.

How have I never known this awesome specialty/sandwich store existed 2 miles from the beach at Point Pleasant? What a find! Walking into this place, I was greeted by all the wonderful smells of spices & cooked tomatoes & everything delicious! The variety offered is amazing from wines, pastas, breads, pastries, unique canned goods & homemade hot entrees! You should go, now

So if you're looking for a 1 stop shop of "Italian" food- this is certainly the place. However, their prices are out of control. Their sandwich counter has no price guidelines and everything Is "custom" even very basic Italian sand which combos like mozzarella, chicken ans balsamic. With no pricing, it's very difficult to tell how much add ons cost, etc.
Plus the sound optics in there are terrible amd it's difficult to communicate with the workers. I recently went and picked up a small sandwich for my mom (prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers and balsamic). Then I said I wanted to add chicken to my sandwich and the man said it's an extra $5. So $17.95 for an average size sandwich?! I said never mind but add pesto, which they charged me $2 for!
I could've bought a jar of pesto for a more reasonable rate. Overall the food is high quality and I would recommend but be prepared to break your wallet for the food. Plus the wait is always ridiculous especially in the summer.
