Alan and his team did the catering for my All white masquerade birthday bash at the James Ward Mansion on May 20th and wow! They did an amazing job. The team was highly professional and executed on my vision, prior to the day Alan called frequently to check to see if I had any additional questions or needed anything. On the day of the event a full team arrived and were ready to execute.

The food is top notch. I had 111 guests and everyone had plenty to eat. We did the never ending apps and three stations, everything was amazing. The desserts are another level and were the hit with all my guests. They carried out my vision for this event. I highly recommend. The bonus was my signature drink a blue margarita.

Alan and his team were terrific! All my guests said the food was 5 plus stars! The apps were amazing and the stations high quality and delicious. The team that was on site were very professional and executed to the highest level. Ultimate caterers are amazing and worth every cent paid! I highly recommend. My goal of my party was glam and high quality and they delivered! Ali's my signature blue margarita was the hit of the event!

We had our wedding at the Art Factory. Amazing experience from booking to the day of with Ultimate. Alan was always available and made planning so stress-free and wonderful. He was very accommodating with changes that had to be made last minute. Food was great! I highly recommend the pecan encrusted salmon, our guests loved it! Bar service was excellent as well. They made our party perfect!

This is the catering company you want to, and NEED to hire! We had our wedding at the Art Factory in January of this year. Everyone knows that it's stressful enough planning a wedding and wanting everything to be perfect. Well, Alan and his staff made sure it was PERFECT. We had our wedding last month and let me just say, thank goodness for Alan! He made sure everything was perfect and the food was outrageously delicious! And his office manager, Andrea was so kind, helpful, and answered all of my questions (and believe me, I had A LOT!) This is overall a wonderful team and we highly recommend Ultimate Caterer, Alan and his team for your events!

We were extremely satisfied with the service of Ultimate Caterers for our wedding at the Art Factory in Paterson, NJ. Alan was easy to work and communicate with. He custom-tailored our menu to fit our vision of Asian cuisine, served in stations. Our guests raved about the food for both cocktail hour and reception. Lee, our maitre'd, was wonderful on the day of the wedding and always kept us fed. We would highly recommend Ultimate Caterers, especially for those getting married at Art Factory.

I was extremely disappointed in this catering service. When we hired, they promised they would have enough help to ensure that our guests would be pleased. We got married on October 16 at the Art Factory and I must say the venue was beautiful. The food was scarce and my guest left hungry. I think he spread his help between 2 weddings at the Art Factory on that day. I was so disappointed and most of my guests went to eat after the wedding. I was truly embarrassed and issued an apology to most of my guests. Would never rehire.

Ultimate Caterer catered our wedding at the Art Factory. The food was delicious, (especially cocktail) Alan was great at communicating and accommodating. Servers and bartender were nice. The only thing that was a problem was that plates were taken away to quick but other than that everything went smooth.

My partner and I used Ultimate Caterer in late August, 2021 for our wedding at the Art Factory. Overall, the food and drinks are good but much of the staff was rude to our family and friends. Leading up to the event, Alan worked with us to find pricing that worked for our budget. He was helpful in that regard, all the way up to the day of the wedding.

We had a buffet set up for about 170 people. The staff ensured that my partner and I had food and drinks during the wedding. As for how they treated the guests, the experience was not the same. At one point my brother tried to go to the kitchen to get food for my grandmother that my cousin had left in the fridge from our lunch while we were getting ready.

Before my brother could sayin anything, Alan rudely told him to leave and stated that he has to let him "do his job." Throughout the party, our family and friends stated that one of the bartenders was very rude to everyone. Additionally, throughout the night wait staff kept taking people's plates and drinks before they were done. When my father tried to ask waitstaff not to take plates so quickly, they stated that they were leaving soon.

The waitstaff was contracted until 10pm and they were telling this to my father at 8pm. Finally, at the end of the night my partner handed Alan an envelope with tips for the waitstaff. Alan asked where the tip was for the cooks. While we understand that he is advocating for his staff, my partner also felt pressured by his request, especially considering that we had discussed tips with Alan via email before the wedding. Overall, the food was good and Ultimate Caterer knows their way around the Art Factory, but much of the staff is rude and Alan often presents as pompous and can be off-putting.

Ultimate Caterers exceeded all expectations! From the first phone call to the last detail, they helped to create a truly memorable occasion. The service and food were outstanding. Alan and Heather addressed all the details, and were always there to guide our planning. Very Highly Recommended.

Alan and Ultimate Caterer SAVED OUR WEDDING at Art Factory! If you are getting married at the Art Factory, use Alan. If you aren't getting married at Art Factory, but can bring in your own food to your venue, use Alan. His staff are incredible, especially the maitre d', Heather. The food was incredible; we've had multiple guests after the wedding share with us that is was the best wedding food they've had. Alan also prepared two meals for guests with severe Celiac disease- both meals were amazing and avoided cross-contamination (a tricky thing if you're familiar with Celiac). Thank you Alan!

If you're looking for a do-it-all caterer, this is your spot! We only had a venue and had to arrange everything else. Alan made the process very stress-free! We didn't have a tasting, due to COVID so I was a bit nervous, but relied on the reviews. We were not disappointed! The guests were impressed, and so were we! I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Heather and the staff @ Ultimate Caterer! My wife and I just got married 5/8/21 and the weather was terrible. It rained, it hailed, there was thunder and lightning and we were getting married outdoors. The staff set up, reset, reset and reset again to accommodate the guests and the weather. They transformed our yard into a picturesque farmhouse wedding!

They held umbrellas for the bridal party and ensured they saved my wife's wedding dress as much as possible from the mud on the ground. IT WAS MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE DREAMED OF. The food was amazing, the guests raved about the cocktail hour, the dinner and the dessert! The attention to detail was exquisite! Definitely would recommend to ANYONE looking for a magical event!

Ultimate Caterer catered my wedding and they were simply phenomenal. The attention to detail and attentiveness to the guests was top-notch. A lot of mishaps happen at weddings, but with Ultimate Caterer you at least have the food COMPLETELY COVERED. My husband and I worked closely with Alan leading up to the wedding day to plan our menu. We also attended one of Ultimate Caterer's tasting events at the James Ward Mansion (which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you doing as well). Alan and his team were very accommodating to our guests needs- gluten free, vegetarian options were readily available and accessible.

They even created a side wedding cake for our gluten free guests. When we had to come up with a plan B for our daughter's wedding on 9/19 due to Covid Alan Perl was a God send especially since we only had a month and a half to plan a backyard wedding for 70! He was recommended by our wedding planner. I did not have time to interview other caterers or even taste his food. The food and service were excellent. We loved the baby lamb chop appetizer which he served in a vintage briefcase! Alan coordinated all of the tent, table, chair, porto potty rentals. His insight in how to layout the tents/tables to maximize the small space was priceless. Everyone raved about the food and service!

We had UC cater our wedding at the Art Factory. They were very easy to work with, reasonably priced, provided great service and delicious food. We were extremely pleased and would hire them again! Our guests were very complimentary of the service and food.

Used Ultimate Caterers for our wedding at the James Ward Mansion, and could not have been more pleased. Thoughtful guidance the whole way through the process and great execution the day of are the hallmarks here, no to mention everyone raved about the food. Alan, this is Rich Anderson. Ten years ago tonight we held our wedding reception in Asbury Park at the Berkeley Hotel. Who knew Asbury would become what it is today. But, to this day, we are constantly reminded of perhaps the best wedding any of our guests attended. Credit goes to you and your team at the time, and you will always be an important person in our lives.

Ten years later Peggy and I couldn't be happier, and you kicked it all off with a bang (complete with warm cookies and cold milk to close out the reception, and an after party that remains the gold standard of after parties!). Our friends and family regularly remind us of the great time they had on that October day. You run a unbelievable business and we appreciated your attention to detail and for making us a priority despite the high demand for your services. So thank you, we hope you are well, and wish you continued success.

Alan and his team surpassed our expectations for our wedding 11/1. Our venue dropped a bomb on us 2 weeks before our wedding saying that the in house caterer was no longer with them and gave the names of 3 different caterers they claimed would keep our price point. We called all of them, desperate for help. Alan & Ed put all of our worries at ease.

The menu choices alone were enough to make us go with them but their accommodating attitudes sold us. Having them cater our wedding instead of the in house chef we did our original tasting with was a complete blessing in disguise and we couldn't thank them enough. Our guests are still raving about the food and we're half a world away on our honeymoon. Thank you to Alan and his team!

AMAZING! SUPERB! Hmmm hmmm Good! Alan, you are your team are undeniably amazing. Your attention to detail coupled with your expertise and passion, made it an absolute joy and pleasure to work with you. I can honestly say, because of your ease and reassurance, I was truly a stress free bride. Now on to the food, OMG, let's see, delicious, mouth watering, scrumptious, unbelievable and yes I could go on and on and on.

Now it's one thing to have amazing food, and its another when the presentation of the food takes it too another level. My husband and I opted for the never ending cocktail hours for our reception, this included hours of passed Hors d'oeuvre. Our family and friends are not only saying it was the best wedding they had ever been too, but it was also some of the best food they have ever had. Alan, my husband and I cannot thank you and your entire team for the best day of our lives. You are the best!

Most Disgusting Catering establishment! The receptionist Heather needs an attitude check. Allan needs to understand when he has an awesome receptionist it makes him and his company awesome. Allan is an unprofessional emotional wreck himself so he probably wouldn't understand that baby step. They will befriend you in the beginning but if anything was to go wrong LOOKOUT, it will be all your fault in the eyes of these ULTIMATE DIS(ASS)TERS!

Alan is wonderful and the food is top notch. We did the never-ending cocktail party and the food was piping hot and served on ridiculous (in a good way) platings. Alan as well was very attentive before and during the party, helping me every step of the way and making sure the bride and I ate well during the party. After the party everyone came up to me to compliment the food. Ultimate Caterer's business is well earned.

I am so happy that I used Ultimate Caterer for my son's Bris. Alan was exrtremely pleasant and helpful on the phone when I was first firguring out what I wanted. I had called one place prior to calling ultimate cateter and they were so rude, that I was so pleasantly suprised when I made my next call to Alan and found the complete opposite. Alan was in touch with me after I had the baby and made me feel confident that everything would go smoothly on his end.

It can be very nerve racking to plan a party in a weeks time. My party started at 1 PM, my parents got there maybe an hour or so earlier and called to tell me Alan and his crew were already there and the set was perfect. They did the linens and silverware o the table. The food set was up amazing, he even threw in a couple extra dish which I did not expect. We were thrilled with his services, my guest were happy and the party was lovely!

Yet again Alan and his team hit it out of the park! When we saw that Ultimate Caterer was one of the preferred caterers at our venue we were excited. Alan has catered events for us before so it was not even a question that we would go with him again. He was an ease to work with from the beginning and was constantly putting my mind at ease. The food.was AMAZING!

Six weeks later I am still telling people about the best piece of salmon that I ever ate at my wedding. People just loved our cocktail hour and our cake looked great. I would hands down hire Alan and Ultimate Caterers for any future affairs!

After a cancelled venue- we had to search out a new location, new vendor and essentially a whole new plan for the wedding. The James Ward Mansion was a really lovely venue we found that is exclusively served by the Ultimate Caterers. Alan was extremely helpful and worked with us on all the little details we requested changed. The tasting was brilliant- and gave us a lot of excitement for the wedding itself! Tom and Victor were a great team running the show the day of.

They made sure I had appetizers and drinks and I was one of the first to get fed. We had an tablet set up for music and it worked AMAZINGLY in the on site sound system and the team worked to make sure we got it plugged in with absolutely NO issues. My only complaint would be the room warmed up and we couldn't get it cooled off- so it was a little warm by the time we finished the evening and the bar tender had a tip jar out which I would have not have preferred but missed the window to correct- so I half blame myself.

But all the staff was brilliant- the displays and arrangements were great. The food was as we requested- the steak was good and NOT OVER COOKED PRAISE JESUS HALLELUJAH. We worked with the staff to break down the tables and got everything packed up in a timely and efficient manner. Very much a "set it and forget it" vendor- directions were given- decisions made and that was it- and it was great.

I knew I was safe and if there was an issue -it would be handled. I didn't have to worry once about the quality of service and was deeply pleased with our choice to have our wedding there and served by the Ultimate Caterers. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again if I needed an event catered. I honestly had a great time and I had many compliments on beautiful venue and the amazing food. I couldn't have had a better event. Thank you so much for a beautiful wedding!
