Customer service is excellent. The fish fry is amazing. I've been sampling fish fries all over Waukesha and Pewaukee and Rochester Deli is top of my list for best fish fry. The tar tar sauce for the fried cod is the best tar tar sauce I have ever tasted. I really like the baked cod with the buerre Blanc sauce (not sure how to spell it). The red potatoes and potato pancakes are just so good. My husband loves their macaroni salad and peanut butter cookies.

Laura and the gang @ Rochester Deli did a wonderful job today with the order we placed ahead of time for today's St. Patty's Day lunch. I was able to pre-order days in advance so I could pick it up at a specific time this morning. I did everything over email and the crew was very responsive! When I arrived this morning they had everything ready, marked and organized for us. And the food was absolutely delicious! Thanks guys - the lunch was a big hit!

Best sandwich shop in Waukesha and it's not even close! The Fish Fry on Friday is pretty darn good too. I'm a bigger fan of the fried version to the baked, but just barely. Both are fantastic. But the best part about Rochester Deli is knowing that I'm going to get myself some amazing desert! Don't ask me to pick which one is the best. That's an impossible ask. Although it's the Chocolate dipped Peanut Butter cookie.

I love the lightly breaded, Italian seasoning on the fish. The potato pancakes are crisp on the outside and pair perfectly with their homemade applesauce. The rye roll is fluffy with a coarse salt on the outside. My only complaint is the coleslaw, it lacks any flavor except cabbage. I would prefer a creamy coleslaw and wished it was an option. This does not stop me from coming though!

We made a stop in DT Waukesha and searched on Yelp to find a place for lunch. This restaurant caught our attention with lots of compliments and we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint us. We loved the clean, bright environment and the homey vibes immediately. Felt like that great neighborhood restaurant that has been around for a long time and that everyone knows and loves to go.
We were greeted by a very friendly young lady and she told us her favorites. We got the most popular Reuben sandwich w chicken noodle soup and Turkey Cheddar Panini w Coleslaw and spicy sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted and the meat and cheese were flavorful and felt not too heavy or greasy at all. Everything was just simply good and well-balanced. We parked in a public parking lot (lots of free spots during weekend) on Main Street and walked down. Highly recommend this place if you are in Downtown Waukesha!

This place is so good, I visited twice. I'm a Pastrami sandwich fan. I'm trying to have it where every I go. I had it in many famous places such as Scwartz's Deli in Quebec. I think this was the best Pastrami so far. There is only one thing that I can propose as improvement but I have mixed feelings about it. The bread was not fresh but I think it made the sandwich better. You may find it weird but you will understand when you try it. Btw, it is very crowded place so be early during lunch time.

Nice Deli. Had the daily doble. Didn't look any bigger than my wife's Rueben. Bit disappointed at that. Chicken dumpling soup was just okay. The folks in Waukesha need to get to Jakes or Benji's in Milwaukee and see what true deli corned beef and pastrami are all about. $41 for two sandwiches a bag of chips a SMALLcup of bland pasta salad and two drinks. A bit steep for what it was. Nice bakery items.
