I recently held my wedding at The Cincinnati Club, and I do not have enough good things to say about this venue and the McHale's team. Jeremy, Jeannie and Brittney Lyons specifically. Brittney was amazing, courteous, knowledgeable, dealt with my basket case self and constant barrage of questions. Jeannie and Jeremy worked their butts off to make sure this day was perfect for us, and truly care about each detail. It was truly a phenomenal experience. The day was far better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all at McHale's/Cincinnati Club!

We had McHales catering for our daughters wedding last evening that was at The Center in downtown Cincinnati and I cannot say enough great things about them! The food was perfect and all of the staff that worked the wedding, there were at least ten or more, were absolutely fantastic! So professional and polite and willing to help with anything at all.

Not sure how they hire such great employees, but they sure know what they are doing! The bartender was amazing and could recall about every drink that each guest was having before they got to the counter. Thank you all for helping make my daughters day that much more perfect! Through the venue, The Center, myself and now husband- utilized the in house catering services of McHales! It was such a great decision! The McHales staff were absolutely fantastic last night in ensuring each and every guests needs were met and did not fail to please. Karen, Audra and so so many others were there with me every single step of the way carrying our plates of food to the table so my dress didn't get dirty, refilling beverages, and just being so attentive overall.

They paid attention to every detail and really made my night so special and I could tell they wanted me and my guests to enjoy it. Thank you so much McHales for being so amazing! 10/10 recommend!

We have a GREAT experience with McHale's, every time. They are very pleasant to work with, and very responsive and flexible. We get compliments all over the place when we have their food at our events. Their prices are also very reasonable. I plan a good deal of events each year for the nonprofit I work for, and I highly recommend McHale's!

I've been here several times for various events and the food, staff, everything has been great. Always a pleasurable experience.

My family, immediate and extended, were at a wedding recently at New Riff, catered by McHale's. The consensus was that the food was terrible. We started with hors d'oeuvres. The mini crab cakes and caprese on French bread were pretty decent. Although, most of the capreses were missing the basil, they still tasted good. The mini egg rolls weren't crispy but, kind of soggy, like they were steamed.

Which made them chewy. The flavor wasn't bad but, the inside was more of a paste, than a normal egg roll. Next was the salad. It was a standard house salad. It was honestly the best thing they served, although quite small. Now to the main course. The roast beef was both super salty and very peppery. Plus, it was tough and a bit dry. The tomato and feta stuffed chicken had such a pastey consistency on the inside, that it made it un-enjoyable to swallow.

A bit salty too. The country green beans were rubbery. The vegetable medley was supposed to be steamed but, were raw and hard. The mashed potatoes were ok, not bad. The mostacciollis were incredibly bland. (Half the guests, my family, are Italian, so it was disappointing for us.) Not to mention EVERYTHING on the buffet was either ice cold or barely luke warm. I'm not sure if this was just a bad night for them but, I couldn't in good conscience recommend them after this experience with their catering. Maybe others will have better luck.

McHales catered our wedding in February of last year. The venue (The Grand) in Covington, KY was beautiful, the staff was supportive, responsive, and wonderful in every way. They turned the room from ceremony to reception quickly, kept glasses full, and checked in on the bride and groom family periodically to make sure we we're happy (they even served food to the older folks in my family who had trouble walking) All we had to do was drop off decorations and tell Brent our plans. Special shout out to Brent who made our wedding a breeze. If I had to do it over again, I'd choose McHales, everytime!

We attended a wedding reception at the Club. Impressively large facility, and a great historic building. However, the decor is pretty outdated. The part of the building used by the reception we attended didn't have a great central dance floor. Lots of people crammed into a small (and too bright) room. The party got better once people started to leave. :) The catered food wasn't anything to call home about.

The staff members did just fine putting up with wedding patrons like us. There was one cranky bartender at the open bar, but I tipped her anyways. Neat facility. It's worth a walkthrough sometime.

We used McHale's to cater our wedding at Drees Pavilion and I couldn't be happier. The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. We received numerous compliments on the food & the service. We had a buffet, and there was plenty of delicious food for all our guests. The planning staff was very supportive, making sure no detail was overlooked, and their execution was perfect.

At the event, the staff was excellent, everything was executed perfectly too. I can't compliment them enough. If you need a caterer for any event, don't hesitate to choose McHale's, you won't be disappointed.

We used McHale's for our wedding, and we couldn't be more pleased. From the first meeting, Jen, our event coordinator was friendly and helpful. The food tasting was fun, and they took care of all the details! We got so many compliments on the food! We even got to take the leftovers, and there was no cake cutting fee. The prices were reasonable, the value for your money was awesome, and there were many different options to choose from. We highly recommend them, and would use them again in a heartbeat for our next big event!

Our venue provided 6 preferred caterers to choose from depending primarily on budget. We knew we were going to have a large wedding, and my mom requested a plated meal, so I knew I had to be choiceful. McHales fit perfectly within our budget and let me tell you the food was DELISH and, very importantly, served hot to all 220 of our guests. They also helped us with our rentals since our venue didn't provide linens or glassware. Definitely schedule a tasting with them!

I went to the Cincinnati Club for an Access event, and never realized just how big this building is! I only was able to explore one room, but just the entrance to the building and the architecture was amazing! It's absolutely beautiful in there, seems to have more history than I can tell, and overall a great place to hold events.

I can't rave enough about the Cincinnati Club/Davis Catering. I had a small wedding (80 guests) and we had our service and the reception in the pompadour room. The service from Beth & Diana was impeccable. They were more than accommodating and really "full service" - they anticipated all our needs including suggesting alternatives for the kids.

We picked what we thought was fairly standard fair, but they really took it up a notch.the presentation was impeccable, everything was appropriately seasoned and spiced and at the right temperature. We chose 2 stations, a carving board (lamb and turkey) I didn't have the turkey the night of, but everyone raved about it. The next night the groom and I devoured 1/2 of the leftover turkey.cold - standing up in the kitchen as we re-heated the chicken piccata and walnut mushroom lasagna. I'm not sure what we will do when the lasagna is gone.

It was fabulous. I have to say the when we went to the tasting we liked the food quality, but it didn't wow us. Our meal at the wedding did! They really went to extra lengths, PLUS there service staff was great - everyone loved our bartender! The facility was elegant. Marble hallways and fireplaces, large windows that overlook Garfield Park, which is lit with a series of archways - it looked a beautiful all lit up!

The beauty of the vintage building, the unimpeachable service, and fantastic food make it a great choice. PLUS, it met our budget.we did NOT feel like anything was "padded" or added on that was unnecessary. If you're looking to have an event in a "reception hall" this ISN'T it. If you're looking for vintage charm and elegance, look no further and schedule a appointment. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

Simply one of the most affordable catering places in the city. The food here is also great. Very friendly staff. Can not beat the drink pricing either.

Classy, elegant, tasty. We had our wedding ceremony in the Harrison Room and the reception in the Oak Room. The building is gorgeous. We ended up with a bigger turnout than we expected, so we could not fit in the Gold Room and the staff let us move into the Harrison room at no extra charge. The food portions were the biggest I have ever seen, and the tastiest.

No dry, tough, or tasteless mass produced food- even with almost 300 people. This would be a five except that one staff member kept telling us we were on overtime around 10 in the evening and stressing both Eric and I out while everyone was having a blast on the dance floor. Our contract actually gave us until 11. I guess we should have confirmed that before hand and could have avoided it. But everything else was perfect. The waitstaff was fantastic and everything else went perfectly. I would highly recommend the Cincinnati Club for your next event or wedding.

We had our wedding at the Cincinnati Club and it was awesome. The food was shockingly good. The food tasting was really fun and the vegetarian options were quite good. They actually used a recipe that I wanted because we have quite a few friends who are vegan or lactose intolerant and they were great about it. We loved everything we chose. The flat iron steak, chicken stuffed with brie apples and mushrooms, sweet and idaho potato gratin, cranberry rice pilaf, spinach salad, vegetable napolean with filo, and rolls.

The day of our wedding, the groom came down with the stomach flu so I, the bride, was a bit out of it. However, they still made our wedding beautiful, and directed all of the things I was supposed to but couldn't because of the shock and fear of not getting married. We had the ceremony in the gold room and the reception in the Oak Room. Our friends were very happy that we had all the events in the same place, and that there is a parking garage and elevator for those who could not make it up the beautiful spiral staircase. The elevator is actually where we had some of out favorite wedding pictures taken. If you are getting married in the Cincinnati area, go with the Cincinnati Club!
