Whether you live, work, or play together, you're always family at Pat & Oscar's. When Pat & Oscar opened their 1st restaurant in 1991, they had a great vision of creating a family escape they couldn't find in San Diego - one similar to their special dining experience at home. They wanted a nice value, where one night a week the cooking and dishes were left behind.

What kind of business wants their customers to wait impatiently at the front while half the tables sit empty? This place is huge and beautiful with a wonderful view of the pond! We walked in via the back due to parking in the back, as a result we walked through a 50% full restaurant with empty seats everywhere. When we got to the hostess she said the wait time would be 25 minutes for a table for four and two kids.
We didn't have the time to wait with two hungry kids so we left. Our little ones wanted to stop in the kid area where all three tables were empty to play for a bit so on our way out we stopped for a second. While stopped a server stopped by to see if we wanted drinks or food. We ordered a pretzel and the califlower, both were edible but nothing to write home about.
Beer and drinks were good though. The hostess at the front left a sour taste in our mouth. It seems the company is not training their staff to prioritize customers and not to work to serve as many as possible. We will try other breweries in the future.

Love the ambience of this place! Today, we had the bacon mac and cheese, fish tacos, the sinfully good truffle fries (two orders!), and the house mixed green salad. The West Coast Pale Ale was excellent, too! We brought our dog with us, and she enjoyed the doggie burger patty that was served in a special bowl! Great service, and great food on their covered patio! Oh, and the giant warm chocolate chip cookie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, was also delicious!

Great variety on the menu. It's always a challenge to find a place with vegetarian food and fairly strict carnivore. But we were able to find something for everyone. The tables are quite far apart from one another which is really nice as well. Our waiter was attentive and funny. Really enjoyed having him be a part of our meal. Pizza dough was awesome the right thickness and the taste was unique.

Went here last month and I was was impressed! I ordered the carnitas tacos and had them hold the charred pineapple mojo. I don't like cooked fruit. It was delish! I also, had fries and the sangria. All tasty. The view is nice as well. They still offer the Pat & Oscars breadsticks. They were never my favs. I think the dough is lacking salt. Other than that I'm pleased and will be back soon! Maybe today.lol!

Had the short rib pizza and server (Doug) recommended mountain on mountain ipa. The food was amazing the service was better. My wife had blacken fish tacos and sangria. And we shared garlic bread and ceviche.fresh and generous, we could have definitely shared. Nicky(gm) was very friendly and loves his job- it shows. The military and home town heros memorials around the pond are some of the best we have seen (10yrs vet), definitely gets the heart strings.

Had a great first experience here. The restaurant was very cool, love how spacious it is, and the views on the patio. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was delicious. The beer is great, loved the sours. I've been looking for a good brewery restaurant with a ambiance like this for a while, glad I finally checked this place out!

Nice location and nice views. Nicely decorated interior. Seems to always be a wait regardless when you arrive. Service can be slow at times but staff seems friendly. Very expensive for what it is, in my opinion. I'd go back, but not a place I'd visit frequently due to the wait times and being overpriced. Breakfast tacos were okay. Mostly bland to be honest. The breakfast sandwich was very good, though. The drinks were very good.
