Centrally located in the heart of Orange County, the Historic Building served as the AAA Headquarters and Service Station from the late 1920's. Country Garden Caterers took over the Facility in the late 1970's and completely transformed it into the unique Event Facility it is today. Guests always comment that it "feels like home". The Facility features a brick facade and terra cotta tile floors and a cozy entrance with stained-glass windows. The mezzanine overlooks an indoor area complete with an old-fashioned street lamp and an alcove for your musical needs.

Barbara DesRochers-Lyons opened up a little Mexican Food Restaurant in the mid-1970's called Sombrero Street. The award-winning eatery soon added Catering to its list of services. Within a few years, the Catering business grew and grew, and it made sense for Barbara to focus all her attention on the booming Catering Business and utilize the Charming and Historical Location for Special Events. Prior to starting the family business Barbara was a school teacher and earned all her credentials for Public School Administration.
The Country Garden Event Facility with its rustic "Vintage Orange County" charm is located in the Neuvo Santa Ana Area. The exposed-brick building was built in 1930 and is a unique location with a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The gracious historic plaza and lush green surroundings offer a unique setting for your wedding or event.

Once you've booked your event with Country Garden Caterers you will work closely with your Country Garden Event Planner on menu, rentals, budget, timing and over-all set up. We can offer suggestions for other event vendors like DJs, Photographers, Photo Booths and Florists/Decorators. About 3 weeks prior to your event, you'll meet with your Event Planner and finalize all details, guest count and payments.

What a great place, hidden away and it looks like a brick building, but you get inside and it was great. The food was really tasty and I do know the bride and groom where in a tighter budget so we always think the food will not be that good. They had appetizers and they where very good and the waiters where all amazing. The DJ was not good at all, literally no one really danced.
Not sure if the DJ was given to them but typically it's not at venues. All in all this place is really nice and it had upstairs and downstairs. The bartender was great. All in All, I'd use this facility and give it all 5 stars

I was very excited to view this venue but was extremely disappointed in the event person's professionalism. After a few e-mails and phone calls, Diana finally responded to me and I made an appointment for a Sunday in May 2021 and even sent an e-mail to confirm. I show up for the appointment and no one was there. I even left a voicemail and email letting her know I was there for our appointment, and never even got a call or email with an apology. If a business is this unprofessional with a tour, then I would never trust them with my business. Very, very disappointed.

Staff is awesome here, and don't be fooled by the seemingly smallish look of the place, as the venue can handle a pretty large group! I'm not too certain what the parking situation is during the weekdays, but on weekends there is lots of parking within walking distance that is safe and easy to get to.

I'm Wedding Photographer Alex Diaz for Cateraoke Weddings + Events. My partner Josh Ponder and I had the pleasure to shoot a few weddings at this location and I must say that it's been a great experience each time. The staff is wonderful, professional and accommodating. Especially their main Coordinator Diana Perkins. Our Photos always turn out great and this of course makes us very happy. We look forward to future weddings here!
