It's been the go to bbq spot. I have picked up food for my aunt's birthday party from here and it was a big hit! They don't do call ahead orders, but they are pretty quick when you order at the counter. The meat is pretty tender and just falls off the bone. I have the chicken, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and sausage link. I also really enjoy their side dishes.
There is this tanginess of the pasta salad that I appreciate. I also have had their jalapeno potato salad which has a great kick and crunchiness to it that balances out the softness of the potatoes. The coleslaw and corn bread were also on point. The sweet bbq and the spicy bbq sauces are fantastic. I actually bought a bottle of the sweet bbq. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. The guy packing it up added an extra spicy sauce for me. We will be back!

Had a Takeout order tonight cost about 80$ The BBQ was pretty solid. "Southern Coleslaw" IDK what that was I lived in Tennessee for 20 years & never in my life have I had coleslaw that bad. The Corn cakes just fell apart & literally taste like Jiffy Mix with a splash of sugar and maybe a hint of vanilla. Not a Corn Cake like I've ever had. Overall just extremely disappointed i was hoping to find a good BBQ spot in the area.

Ok, I've been to A LOT of barbecue places, and this was hands down the best. The service fantastic. We are inside and we heard the cashiers give everyone who walked in the door a friendly hello, not a half hearted hello like some people will offer. My favorite was the brisket. It was was tender enough to eat with just a fork (or your fingers) and it wasn't dry in the slightest.
No sauce needed. You also must try the corn cake. Comes warm in an aluminum foil pouch, and it is not too dry or too moist. I would totally love to have them cater my wedding if only I wasn't going to have it 2 hours away.

Wow.what a tasty meal. Hubby had the full rack of ribs.delicious. I had the 3 meat dinner.brisket, chicken and ribs and comes with a good size corn cake/corn muffin.and also choose 1 more side.hubby had mashed potatoes and gravy. I had.mac n cheese with bacon for my choice.it was really good. 3 types of BBQ sauces. I had the carolina.sweet and tangy.just delicious.
You can eat inside or takeout. Not many tables.cute piggy decor. Quick cheerful, friendly service. Restrooms 1 stall for each men n women bathrooms. nice and clean. Just a tasty, enjoyable lunch. Will be thinking about my meal.and need to return.

I'm quite versed and quite picky about my barbecue. I have eaten barbecue all over the world. I also know that everyone has very different tastes in barbecue so yeah tastes involved with you so I avoid reading the reviews the reviews prior to trying a new restaurant. This barbecue was very unique, but not necessarily in a great way. I ordered a 3 meat combo on a Saturday night.
I also got an additional side because I wanted to get a well rounded view of the menu. The 3 meats were brisket pulled pork and and ribs. For the sides I have the "corn cake", Mashed potatoes with gravy, and mac and cheese with bacon. The meat itself was tender but it definitely did not realiyet it definitely did not resemble brisket that I've had in many other playet many other places.
The pulled pork was decent and was quite moist it moist, but was lacking in any remarkable seasoning. The ribs seemed like they were made in a slow cooker. I really couldn't describe the brisket texture until I read some of the other reviews. It definitely does resemble pot roast. I thought the mashed potatoes were decent but the gravy was bravey was poor quality.
The mac and cheese was flavorless and mushy. The sauce was not tangy it was not tangy and definitely resembled ketchup more than a homemade barbecue sauce. I did have high hopes for this place but unfortunately it's just not my taste.

Got the brisket, ribs, coleslaw and mac n cheese. Everything was a disappointment. Coleslaw was oldslaw, limp chewy old cabbage. Mac n cheese was over cooked and mush, with flavor to match. The brisket ( if it was) was unlike ANY brisket I've eaten. We didn't eat beyond the initial tasting. The ribs were about the best part, and still most of them made it to the trash as well.

This isn't BBQ. It's pot roast Pulled pork = pot roast Brisket = pot roast Ribs = well, pot roast slathered in a ketchup, mustard, and onion slop claimed to be sauce Don't eat this stuff. You're better than that Learn from my mistake I love you. Love yourself. And dear god, don't put yourself through eating this slop.

For better or worse, my review is what we tasted. And we give lots of pos reviews, especially to small biz. That we should just give pos reviews because of covid is kinda BS in my view, but just my opinion. Why have reviews at all? And yes, your BBQ is very popular. Glad to see that. Good luck to ya.

Fantastic deal for the money, you can't go wrong. The weight of my carryout was substantial. BBQ brisket was fall apart tender and heavily seasoned. Pulled pork was moist, juicy, and not over seasoned. The ribs were good but not fall off the bone tender, they are seasoned heavily. Potato salad was good, but not like mom makes. Baked beans were good, thick and rich. The cornbread is like a Johnny cake. Sweet, but lacking corn taste.

Stopped on a whim, so glad we did. Excellent food. Fall off the bone ribs, available by the each as well as house made Hog Dogs and Spicy sausage links. Sells bulk packaged meats as well. House made BBQ available for purchase in bottles. Get the beans! There is chopped beef in the beAns. So delicious.

If you've ever had real BBQ, you'd know this place ain't shit. Came on a Saturday and got the 3 meat special for $9.99 (3 chicken wings, pulled pork and a piece of sausage) which was a good deal, but the wings tasted boiled and the pulled pork just wasn't it. Flavor wasn't really there and it was just eh. I tried some of a family members brisket which tasted like pot roast.
You could tell it wasn't smoked or thrown on a grill. The Mac and cheese side was garbage, but the jalapeno potato salad wasn't bad at all. Never have i been served pulled pork without bbq sauce when the pork wasn't poppin off from the start.

I have been wanting to try this for a some time. Went today for lunch and ordered a brisket sandwich and mac and cheese. I prefer my brisket very lean. This wasn't bad as far as fat content. It was very juicy and had a good flavor. With the added juice I didn't even need the BBQ sauce. I thought mac and cheese side was fairly bland and a bit too mushy for my taste. The corn cake is like a disc of sweet cornbread. All in all - just ok for me.

I think we can all agree that BBQ in the North jus ain't the same as the South. Just like Chicago style pizza tastes better in the Windy City. With that said, there's no where in the North I'd rather go than Hog Wild to get my BBQ. I personally recommend just the pulled pork sandwich, but there really isn't a bad menu item. I've had the ribs, the brisket, the chicken, etc.
I honestly love them all. The reason I get the pulled pork is because I just can't eat like I used to, so the portion is a bit more manageable. The best side in my opinion is the corn cake, but the baked beans are right up there. I usually pair the two. Put those two with the pulled pork and that's a mighty lunch right there! I come here once a month to get my fix but if my budget and diet allowed it I'd be here weekly. P.s. best seasonal item is the roasted turkey around harvest time. Oh boy. You need to visit around then.

We had so looked forward to trying this place. Full foreclosure - hubby has been a hog farmer for over 50 years & has done his share of hog bbq's. Very disappointed. One small rib, one small wing on a very dry breast. You got a corn cake and 1 side. We picked Cole slaw. When I say 1 rib it was just ONE rib not one rack of ribs. BBQ sauce was good tho.
The girl you ordered from was rude & didn't entertain the thought that we MIGHT have been first timers. She was looking at us as if we didn't know what we were doing (we actually didn't ) No return trip for us.
