Marconi Manor At Islip

I had my sweet 16 here many years ago and just recently returned to have my wedding reception at Marconi Manor. With both events, they completely knock it out of the park! My wedding was so beautiful and our guests had an amazing time! Helen was incredible and made our day go so smooth. She had our anxiety completely melted away! Highly recommend!

Nice place. They did a great job for my Niece's Sweet sixteen. If I had the need for an event hall I would definitely consider.

Had a wonderful experience at my bridal shower today. The event space itself is well-maintained and clean. The day-of-event staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. During the planning stages, the administrative staff were fantastic and accommodated all of our needs. Event coordination was smooth and I left very happy. My only critique would be the quality of the food, which was pretty average and not very memorable. That being said, my overall experience was great and I am very likely to recommend this location to friends.

We had our son's 1st birthday here today and I just can't say enough. The host, Isla, the servers, and the bartender went above and beyond for us and our guests. They made our experience with them totally stress free and were so accommodating in every single way. The food was amazing. They even made us an adorable Winnie the Pooh cake to go with our theme. I just can't say enough. I highly, highly recommend and cannot thank them enough for making my son's birthday perfect!

My daughter's wedding was just perfect. The package we chose was very reasonable-the vendors were (mostly) great-food and service were excellent. Helen is amazing and we felt we were in good hands throughout the process of preparing for the event. No doubt I would use this venue again and with two more to go I just may get the chance!

I went there for a wedding. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was not that impressive. I would of thought for a small wedding, the quality of catered food provided by venue would of been better. For a small wedding the venue is nice, the bar was good, and it had a nice size dance floor.

We recently had our wedding at Marconi Manor and I can't say enough good things about Helen and her staff. From the moment we went in to just inquire about packages and prices to the day of our wedding Helen was so amazingly helpful. She took the time to answer all our questions both by phone and in person. She did such a great job making our day special.

She helped to personalize every detail to make it reflect who were we and what our vision was. The food was amazing, we got so many complements. Her vendors did the same, taking time to answer all our questions and continuously calling to make sure we were all set for our special day. I really can't say enough good things about Marconi, Helen, and her staff. Defiantly worth booking.

My wedding was excellent. I can't say enough good things about Helen and her staff. Jodi the photographer, Mike the florist, Mike the limo driver all fantastic. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Helen the manager made sure everything was perfect. The DJ played everything we wanted and did everything I asked him to. He was not in your face like some DJs and bands sometime gets at weddings. Anyone getting married or wants a party choose Marconi Manor. You will be very happy.

My husband and I were married at Marconi Manor on August 26th 2017 and it was amazing! My husband and I chose to have our ceremony and reception at Marconi Manor and let me tell you the whole night was seamless! Helen was very helpful! We went with the Gold buffet package and the food was delicious. Helen also gave us suggestions for our menu and every dish was a hit!

Every vendor we worked with was great and fully dedicated to making sure our day was perfect! Our friends and family are still taking about the delicious food and fun party! We just got our wedding photos back and were blown away! Jodi at JLPphotography was amazing! We had a blast working with her at our hotel, our first look, and throughout the night at the wedding!

I was worried at how I would look but the photos truly exceeded our expectations Jodi caught the perfect angles and such wonderful candid moments as well. Our wedding night is a night we can reflect on and not have any regrets thanks to Marconi Manor, Helen, and all the vendors! We highly recommend Marconi Manor for a unforgettable and fun wedding night!

My son's wedding at Scully Mansion catered by Helen and her staff. The food was wonderful, the staff professional and efficient. It all went off without a hitch. Can't Thank You enough!

We had our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Marconi Manor 4/8/17. Our guests are still giving us accolades! Helen the hostess and her staff were great. The food was fabulous and plentiful. They did a great job setting up the tables with the candle centerpiece I brought in and a display table they set up for us. Their hightly recommended High Voltage Entertainment, made our party a memorable event.

I had my daughter's Sweet 16 last week at Marconi Manor and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. Aixa was so great to work with, and made sure everything went perfectly! The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. I am recommending Marconi Manor to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, fabulous place to have an event.

I had my engagement party there and everything was great. Aixa was a huge help from planning to the day of she ran around and kept asking if anyone needed anything or helping when she saw something needed to be done. The last time I stepped foot in Marconi was 10 years ago! The place is beautifully redone and on top of that they keep the place immaculate.

I am so happy that I picked here for my party everything came out exactly how I wanted it to. I love that there are so many places to decorate and personalize the space. The only thing I would say is there should be an upgrade option for better beer, we paid for beer and wine for everyone and could only choose between Bud/Bud light or Coors/Coors light, I would definitely have paid an upgrade charge to have something much better. I had no idea what the champagne punch was before my party, but it was great and actually a huge hit with our guests.

Some of the worst food that has ever passed my lips. This place is HORRENDOUS. If Yelp let me give it negative stars I would break the rating system. 100% microwaved crap, I simply cannot find the adjectives to state how terrible the food is. Who the &^%$ drowns low grade beef in CINNAMON sauce and then microwaves it? The chicken was served in expired, rotten cheese sauce!

They took onions, fried them in grease, served it on melba toast and called it an appetizer! We are owed an apology for the mess that was put on plates and served to us. McDonalds sucks and their food is light years ahead of this garbage. Oh and lastly - the bar SUCKS! Guests left in droves to go to the liquor store and the beer store to get good stuff. Seriously, your beer choices are Bud and Bud Light and that is it?

This more of a area for the Sons of Italy and various other clubs. They do have a bar and depending rents the space, they have food. For example, The Islip Chamber of Commerce had a Fat Tuesday Celebration and Membership Drive. It also serves as a Meet & Greet for those who want to know the business' and other neighbors of the Islip township. Since moving from Wantagh, I have fell in love with Islip. I am now a Member of the Islip Chamber of Commerce. I hope to join the Republican Club. 'Nuff said!

I had the honor of attending my friend wedding reception here and overall things went pretty smooth from what I can see. They have ample parking, clean restroom, and an inviting staff. The only thing I'd suggest, is them replenishing the cocktail hour veg and fruit table. The servers that had trays of food came out in a timely manner and I didn't have to look for a server, which is always a plus.

This particular wedding was buffet style and the food was pretty good. The selections were mac & cheese, bake chkn, bbq ribs, steak, onion, and peppers on a stick, potatoes w/ vegetables, and bread. I had the baked chicken w/ potatoes and veg and it was pretty tasty and hot(in temperature). For dessert, there was the wedding cake of course, fruit tarts, pastries, fruits, tea, and coffee. I believe my friend had maybe 120 guests, and everyone was comfortable as far as space is concerned. The room had beautiful lighting and it felt really intimate.

I had my twin daughters 1st birthday party on March 14th, 2015. It was amazing I couldn't have been more happier. The buffet food was great and along with the ice cream we had with toppings. Helen was the host of my party and she did such a wonderful job she was very helpful the entire party. Booking the hall was a very reasonable price and well worth it.

Also they renovated the entire hall and it looks absolutely beautiful, what a big change. Overall I had an amazing experience the entire time, I will definitely have more party's here in the future.

Cannot recommend enough, wedding planning with Helen and the staff at the Marconi Manor was easy from start to finish. My guests raved about the food, the atmosphere, and the DJ all night. I always felt well informed and never felt surprised/left in the dark. I would absolutely have my wedding here again - they really make your event feel personalized and work with your budget.

Went there for a wedding, food was amazing! Service was unbelievable and the maitre d Helen was so helpful. The room has been renovated and what a difference! A++++

Just had a baby shower brunch at Marconi Manor and everything was fantastic. Our hostess, Aixa, did an awesome job decorating the room and the food was plentiful and very tasty, especially the spinach and cheese frittata! Everything was awesome. I would definitely recommend Marconi Manor to my friends and family!

I did not eat an the Marconi Manor but I had the food at the Seatuck Eco-Carnival and it was very good. I was a bit surprised but I'm not sure why. I had the BBQ chicken which was huge and juicy. The pulled pork was also plentiful, moist and tasty. The burger was just OK. Sounds like they're also catering organic foods, which sounds interesting to me.

I wish them a lot of luck with that. I think there's definitely a market for it. Overall, a positive food experience. I would definitely consider Mastrontonio Catering for a BBQ or party.
