Old school Italian good. First visit, felt like i could spend an entire paycheck there. So many options. Love the tomato pie.

Purchased $20 worth of Roasted veggie pasta salad $12@lb. Very bland tasting No flavor.my wife ate a small bowl of the salad, within three minutes inside her mouth went numb.for about one hr. Called carlinos to give them a heads up. Probably will not purchase any prepared food again.

Giant now sells beer and wine. Very nice selection too! The rest of the store is so nice since they remodeled with a great selection of organic fruits and vegetables.

Great food, friendly staff, and their catering is wonderful. Highly recommend for Holidays and corporate events.

This place is magic. As someone who has lived on both coast multiple times, I can say Carlino's is the place you wish was in your neighborhood. Let's start with the people. Kind, courteous, helpful. But the real reason you are there? The food, the selection. It's the Italian market version of Target. Walk in for a bar of soap, walk out with $80 dollars worth of items an hour later.

Go there for a cupcake. I dare you. You can't resist the cheese selection, the breads and bakery, the pastas, sauces. Too much to mention. You know how you find yourself walking around target for 2 hours? This place isn't that big, but you'll find yourself wandering with the same sense of wonderment. Get a sandwich. "Uncle Frank's Pride?" What an arrogant sandwich, unless of course you can live up to the hype.

Uncle Frank should be proud, because not only is that the best sandwich is West Chester, my wife and I (my wife is from Vietnam) put it up with one of the best sandwiches we've eaten recently. Nothing is on the level of the Banh Mi in Hoi An made famous by Anthony Bourdain, but this sandwich deserves seriously accolades. It's on a level below, and that's something to be seriously proud of when compared to the best sandwich in the world.

It's always a treat to stop at Carlinos. It's the best little market in West Chester. It has lots of unique items and great tasting food.

Amazing food, very friendly staff and decent prices. They boast an incredible bakery, a variety of delicious dishes and fresh pasta.

I can't give a zero so I'll give this a one. I hate writing negative reviews but i'm compelled to ESPECIALLY FOR THIS PLACE. The Deli employees are overworked and understaffed. I overheard from several employees that the OWNER is verbally abusive. One employee told me they worked 11 hours with no break. That's illegal. HIGHLY ILLEGAL. The food prices have gone up.

I loved the intentions of good quality food for a decent price, but it's become too expensive to enjoy anymore. I hope this can help improve conditions for employees but also customer experiences in the future.

What can one say! Best tortellini Salad and Italian food takeout ir eat in amongst the area! Amazing food. Pizza. Fresh bread. Pastries. Italian sodas. Veal meatballs. Go here any time your in West Chester!

Moving to West Chester this summer. I'm looking forward to visiting Carlinos on a regular basis. The prepared foods, tomato pie, fresh pasta and sausage, Italian bread and an incredible bakery are just a few of the reasons why they are amazing!

Bought almonds from here yesterday and they had dead ROACHES, babys and grown. I realized this while getting my haircut in barber supply. (One of the people in there actually pointed out more roaches than i initially thought -thank you) Went back over to carlinos and the GM insisted on giving me my money back on a gift card rather than my ACTUAL money, i absolutely didnt like how i was handled and treated. I know the picture isnt the greatest but if you need confirmation just go to Barber supply( great barber btw). Absolutely disgusted and disappointed all i have to say

The selection goods available here is beyond reproach. Very similar to DiBruno brothers- Including some very premium pricing. However if you're willing to pay the freight you can find a wide array of specialty products that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.

I love Carlino's. They have the best soups, pastas, and tomato pie. It's such a treat to stop in and get some things. So fresh!

Ordered from the catering menu for Christmas and it was amazing! I ordered the whole tenderloin, eggplant parm, tortellini La Rosa, grown up Mac n cheese, Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, bourbon pecan pie and cherry ricotta cheesecake. After cooking the tenderloin to medium at home it was perfect. So tender, juicy, and flavorful. The other dishes were very easy to heat up and tasted great too. Both deserts were so good with the decadent bourbon pecan pie with chocolate throughout being the crowd fave. I will definitely be ordering from here each year!

This place has gone insane with their prices! $$$ Bring the deed to your house and title to your car. You're gonna need it! Must need to pay off their gambling debts or shore houses! Makes New York look like a bargain. Avoid this place like the plague! Forgetta bout it!

The deli had the best selection of meats and fresh prepared foods. Grab of bottle of multiple different flavored balsamics and oils. Fresh pasta available to make at home. The kind of place you could easily make a gift basket for someone from in one stop. The tables inside and out mean you can eat from the deli if you cant wait to get home. Can even buy fresh berries and salad if you cant make it to grocery store. Wish every town had a little Italian market

I had Angela's sub from Carlino's and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! The fresh mozzarella with the pesto was phenomenal! They also have the great pitzelles, cannoli, and cakes.

We had out last house party catered by Carlino's. People loved the food! It's was all great. Will definitely order again!

This place serves the best food. I particularly love the eggplant parm. It's delicious. For thanksgiving, I now bring five or six of their small dessert servings and that's a big hit with the family. I have friends who love good bread so I stop here whenever before I visit them and this small gesture is always appreciated.

Anything you want and more. Fresh pastas, fresh raviolis, hand made sandwiches, brick oven pizza, deserts. This spot has it all and they do it all so well. Phenomenal place, so happy to have it in town.

Incredible selection and everyone is so friendly. They had a hiccup with my order and gave me a free box of chocolate chip cookies for the trouble!

2nd time in west chester. I haven't been in almost two years, bit I made sure I got to Carlino's. I had a slice of the Margarita pizza and it was great. 5 stars highly recommended.

Service is everything. Of course everyone cannot be "perfect". I don't know if this kid was the manager there. But he was extremely rude and inappropriate. And the food is sub par. so sad. loved the other carlinos

Food is good if you luck out and get what you actually wanted. Picked up order today and it was not even close to what was ordered. Okay, so I am very obsessed with this place. I usually go biweekly and load up. I got an Italian hoagie, ultimate Italian hoagie, uncle franks pride, 2 salads, and a cannoli. Uncle franks pride is amazing. The bread is sooooo perfect. The sauce/gravy is really good. The pulled porchetta tasted like it was stewed, broccoli rabe, and melted sharp provolone cheese and hot peppers. Omg! I'm going to gain 10 lbs if I keep coming here!

Do not come to West Chester without visiting my favorite lunch spot every work day for me. When you walk through the doors you will be amazed. A one of a kind market. The variety is unbelievable! Take a stroll on Market Street in downtown West Chester and visit this incredible spot. You won't be disappointed!

Catering review: as expected, the food was delicious and well packaged! Can't go wrong with a gourmet hoagie platter. We also had the brie (which I didn't realize had nuts in it but I think that was my stupidity), Caesar salad, and baked ziti. There were no heating instructions given upon pick up and when we called to ask what they were I think they gave us the wrong directions because the baked ziti needed way more than 350 for 45 minutes in the oven and the baked brie needed some extra time as well.

Not sure if the actual instructions are off, what they told us was off, or our oven was off but there was a bit of a miss there. The party still went on! Nice store to walk around in and great for lunch and gourmet groceries (but also regular groceries if you need those too). Staff is friendly as well.

I was expecting to hate Carlino's because I thought it would be full of little dogs in carries and designer stroller's. I was so so so happy those things were not there and I could love Carlino's! Very very tasty CS especially in the home made roll. The staff was awesome! Would I recommend Carlino's? I am going back for the roast beef panini.
