Wow - it is hard to believe that we have owned Williams on the Lake for five years! As second generation owners (and a husband and wife team!), we strive to achieve all that Nancy and Virg dreamed this could be and more. For the past 25 years, we have thoroughly enjoyed helping our brides, grooms and other guests create wonderful memories that they will always remember.
If you would like to have your ceremony and reception at one gorgeous location, look no further. Williams on the Lake includes a beautiful ceremony site with each of its venues. You have the option of Lakeside South with the courtyard and gazebo, or Lakeside East with the Moon Gate patio with scenic lakeside view.
Reception packages include a personal event coordinator to work through all the details to make your day special, six hours of reception time in the venue of your choice, use of the venue tables, chairs, linens, china, stemware, flatware, and all the service staff. It also includes an in-house decorator and your choice of meal prepared by our award winning chef.
You may ask yourself, "What constitutes a private party?" It is anytime you gather with friends and family. Garden parties, baby or wedding showers, family reunions, birthdays and anniversaries - these are just a few special events in our lives that are a cause for celebration. Williams on the Lake is also a great place to host fundraisers.

My wife and I went this last Saturday, March 19th to see a comedian, Jeff Shaw. we arrived early and took advantage of the cash bar, which was reasonable, the buffet dinner was good. after dinner it was announced that the headliner Jeff Shaw could not make it, plane delay, so they arranged for 3 other comedians to perform, which turned out well. the facility was very nice, very convenient too from our Medina location.

Cleveland Keys were absolutely phenominal! We had an amazing time! Highly recommend having them back! If anything, the hot food was a little cold, and we arrived by 6:10-6:15pm, but the taste of the food was good. It was a great time though, and the cash bar had a great selection for reasonable prices. We appreciated that!

Our club had our annual Christmas Awards Banquet here once again. We have been attending this wonderful, BEAUTIFUL venue for a number of years. Food was excellent and service was impeccable, as usual. All servers were very attentive to all our needs and requests. We are already booked for next year and so looking forward to it. If we could give them a 10-star rating, we would!

We recently held our wedding reception at Williams on the Lake in October 2021. We can not say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Aly and the staff worked closely with us leading up to the date of the reception and made everything so easy. The room was set up beautifully and the food served was wonderful! The staff gave us great service throughout the night and the bartender did such a great job keeping guests served the entire reception. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone else looking for a reception location!

One of the most reasonable, helpful, and wonderful wedding venues I've dealt with. I would highly recommend. My husband and I were married here in late November and it was perfect! The entire place has beautiful scenery including the lake and grounds so the pictures were beautiful. Ally + Mark were so helpful and made sure that we as the bride and groom had the final say in every decision no matter what others said!
They worked tirelessly for us and made sure that our day went beautifully. They handled everything so professionally and we are so grateful for that. The food was spectacular as well! So spectacular that we actually think back to that day's menu! Everything was clean, and well maintained and so picturesque. You will not regret booking William's on the Lake for your big day! 5 stars honestly isn't enough!

Ally made sure everything was perfect! From the moment I walked in the door, I absolutely fell in love with the venue. It was everything I was looking for with a beautiful deck, beautiful views and elegant interior. Initially our coordinator was a little lax, not taking notes at our meetings and having a difficult time getting a hold of us. I plan events for work so I made sure to give her detailed notes and step by step instructions for every piece of my reception.
The day before my wedding our coordinator got sick and was unable to coordinate my wedding. That's when Ally stepped up. Ally was an absolute godsend. Ally literally made everything perfect down to how I wanted the napkins folded. She was so professional and her staff was incredible. We had several family members who were handicapped and dinner was buffet style.
Ally and her staff made sure to help our handicapped relatives get their food and drinks. Everyone raved (and are still raving) about the amazing food they had too. Saying it was delicious is an understatement! Everyone also loved that the staff walked around with appetizers during cocktail hour. Actually, the food was so good at Williams on the Lake that my husband and I made sure to have all of our photos done so we could enjoy cocktail hour, to visit with our guests but mainly for the amazing appetizers! I am so thankful for Ally and the staff at Williams on the Lake for making our wedding reception perfect.

Friday night date night has been delivery of dinners to the house throughout the past several weeks from some good restaurants. BUT tonight, we dined on the Patio at Williams on the Lake. It was absolutely perfect. If you have now yet been to this Medina hidden gem, you are missing an amazing view with a great dining experience. Hats off to Mark and Aly Williams, "they rock!" Call ahead seat for reservations!
The Pork Belly bites and Chicken skewer appetizers were amazing. My crab cakes on a delightful salad perfectly cooked and for dessert, a sweet roll covered with fresh peaches and hot cream in a crock heavenly! Thank you Mark & Aly for the great hospitality!
