Really tasty and wholesome sandwiches. The staff was friendly and helpful, the portions were generous and tasted very fresh. It is on the costlier side of the sandwiches at about $8-$13 per sandwich or wrap but you can definitely taste the difference. Each sandwich also comes with a side such as macaronic salad, cole slaw, chips, or hot apple sauce. Loved their cole slaw!
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating in their back garden which has shaded areas and is very pet friendly. We came back twice in one trip because their food was so good. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit Whitehall again!

I've never had a complaint about anything after a visit to Pekadill's. They were closed for a bit to remodel some things and my boyfriend and I are so glad they're back open! Can't wait for the warm weather so we can sit in the patio gardens out back again. We love the chicken salad croissant, and their macaroni salad is exactly what you want it to be. Try everything at least once, because they're all great. The perfect small town sandwich shop!

The best little sandwich/ice cream place we've found around. A few blocks walk up from the marina. Pekadill's is always good. Some indoor seating, but really great when the weather is nice so you can eat in the beautiful garden out back. This place is consistently busy and a must stop when you're in Whitehall/Montague area.

I love Pekadill's, but mostly for the garden out back where you can enjoy your lunch. I definitely recommend this restaurant, but don't go hoping for gourmet food. They serve what you can easily make yourself at home. The attraction is the friendly service and the garden where you enjoy your lunch. I must admit, I haven't tried the Friday and Saturday chicken and ribs dinner because I'm not a meat eater, but if you are, give it a try! Pekadill's is well known in the area, and if you're passing through Montague/Whitehall, you should give it a try.

This place very popular there wasn't a long line or anything. But they must've had three or four young women and a production line making sandwiches filling orders. We got a full rack rib dinner it was really awesome. I'll probably go back and get some sandwiches so we can hang out on the beach and have lunch on the lake today. They only have the ribs and chicken on Friday and Saturdays I guess it was our lucky day.

We stopped here for lunch, and had the tomato basil soup and the French dip sandwich. The staff is super accommodating, and very fast. I found the food to be simply delicious, and well worth every penny. These folks are famous in the community, and for good reason. Great service, great food, great experience.

I've eaten here several times over the years because kids love it. Really great location and cool garden to dine in. However, the prices are set for premium food but the food is consistently mediocre at best. Fancy food names don't mask so-so food. Stay away from the French dip unless you like cold roast beef and barely room temperature au jus. Lots of potential but the quality of food isn't there.

Food and service was very good. Food was fresh and sandwiches were a good value. Side macaroni and potato salad are very good, soup looked thick and delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Would have given a 5 star but decor needs work. Broken heater vents, seating and tables need help, walls need painting and areas need cleaning and organizing. Outdoor seating is available in a nice garden setting

This is just the cutest shop that ever cuted. Spousie's family grew up here. This was the perfect capstone on our trip to what I define as the "middle of nowhere" which everyone else would define as the middle of somewhere where you just expect happy babies and golden retrievers to run up to you at any given moment. Then we found out family lives a couple door down with their babies and retriever. Did you know "puppy chow" ice cream is a thing? I certainly didn't. Welcome to the midwest, eh? I had their cherry ice cream and it was delicious!

Fantastic sandwiches with many options. I had the chicken salad croissant and it was excellent. My son has the Mac n cheese. it was a large portion for a 5 year old plus it came with a side. He got the apples which are heated with cinnamon and sugar. Very tasty, not very healthy. Great garden with tables in the back. Hudsonville ice cream for desert. All in all, an excellent choice when in Whitehall/Montague.

The BEST! This is the cutest place in the whole world! They have a beautiful old fashion ice cream parlor in the front with tons of delicious flavors. And then the rest is EASILY. the best spot to get a sandwich and soup in the state of Michigan! The breads are always soooo fresh, the meats and cheese are thin sliced, the sauces are insane, it's the whole package. it's consistently incredible every single time. It's the best part of going to Whitehall!
The people who work here are just lovely and always are. I've been eating here for years and never had a bad experience. Oh, and they have a gorgeous garden in the back in the Summer to sit in while you eat. full of flowers and butterflies. Love you Pekadill's!

This was my first time here, and I'm so glad we stopped. My sister fondly remembered this place, as she lived in Whitehall for a while when she was a kid. She was SO EXCITED when she saw it was still here. Naturally, she pulled right in. This place is so charming. It's an adorable little vintage throwback, with black and white checkered floors and red and white striped walls. It's like stepping back in time, and I adored it.
We didn't end up staying for a meal, unfortunately, but we did get some ice cream! I got myself a waffle cone of All Jacked Up Tennessee Toffee. I'm not ashamed to say I finished every last bite! I think it was somewhere around $4 and totally worth it. I recommend eating outside. There's a gorgeous garden in the back, with a pond and trees and a sand box area for kids. We ate back there, and it was really peaceful. I don't know if I'll ever be back here. But I certainly hope so!
