We serve generous portions of home-made Italian food with a signature house salad and fresh-baked garlic breadsticks at a very competitive price. Lasagnas, soups and sauces, for example, are made from scratch in the restaurants using authentic recipes passed down through several generations.

The wait was long for the number of people in the restaurant, a couple was seated before us who came in after we did. The service was not good. My wife ordered soup and salad, she asked for a second bowl which never came. They only brought us 2 bread sticks. My food was cold and the salad dressing was poor quality. She wrote a note on the back of our ticket stating how poor the food and service was. We have eaten there many times in the past. No problem. This is the last time we will eat there. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

My first time here was about a year ago the barramundi was a new item on the board. The "holy trinity" is amazing! And I was happy it was still being served! This round the steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare, it was well done. Which was a disappoint. The italian dressing for my salad was a tad salty. Stuffed Mushrooms and fried ravioli were exceptional! & my son enjoyed spaghetti & meatballs, which were not on the menu but were added! A decent italian restaurant!

Ragazzis will never disappoint. Delicious food and incredible wait staff that work hard to get you taken care of even when short staffed. Owner is best in the business. Customers are always a priority and the staff enjoy working for him. We have been coming for 30+ years. Gets better and better every time. A+ experience!

Too bad that now in culture of Covid controlling everything that business do not feel it necessary to up date their hours of operation on their websites. Why would a business post their hours of operation for public information and make no effort to correct that information. Group of ladies were looking to go to Ragazzi's for some of their fine deserts only to be told they were closing an hour early on a Friday night. Pretty poor business practice. For that reason I give them a poor recommendation. Seems like the Resturant industry is shooting themselves in the foot.

I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. My waitress, Summer, was spectacular! Very sweet and attentive. She really made my experience enjoyable. The food came out very quickly and was hot (except for the salad, of course). I'd probably try something other than the spaghetti next time I go. Probably go for one of the favorites. I really enjoyed the calamari and the salad was delicious!
I don't usually like salad but this was VERY good. If I could, I'd have bought a gallon of the dressing. You get what you pay for: lots of food, good atmosphere, and great service

Deliciousness to the max and consistently busy for a beautiful spring afternoon on a Saturday. Zac the manager was hopping and assisting in every capacity from seating, to helping with carry out orders, to taking orders, to serving, to cleaning tables, to making sure everyone was satisfied. It was fun to watch him juggle everything confidently and patiently.
And the food remains so filled with flavor I'm always torn which entree to order. Today I went for the cheese tortellini with Alfredo sauce. My husband ordered his favorite which is now listed on the menu as an all-star: Seafood Portofino. Of course we started with the house salad with creamy Italian dressing and the best bread sticks you'll find. Here are a couple of photos of our entrees. Support local! You deserve the best and you will get it at Ragazzis.

We will always eat here when visiting Garner. We live in VA but have family here. We once had 2 Ragazzi locations within driving distance. Sadly, both have closed, leaving this location the only remaining Ragazzi's. Everything here is fantastic! We normally order the North and South so we can get a sampling of all the best. We have departed from thy occasionally.
The cheese tortellini is fantastic. Their Alfredo sauce is just incredible. The lemon chicken is amazing. If you like OG, you really need to try this. The food is better, fresher, and larger portions than them. The salad dressing could be a bit more flavorful, but that is my only complaint.

When I lived in Greenville, there was a Ragazzi's that closed down once Olive Garden opened. I was so happy to learn that there was one not too far from where I lived, and my whole family was ecstatic to learn there was one open nearby. We met here today for a birthday lunch with my mom. Our waitress was incredibly nice and especially helpful with our orders.
Our appetizers came out quickly, and shortly after our food came out right as we were finishing up our appetizers and salad. I sure did miss their house dressing and salad! My stuffed chicken was delicious. Breading was good, the chicken was tender, and pasta and the sauce were super creamy and full of flavor. If you're looking for Italian food, come here and not Olive Garden. Compared to Olive Garden, everything tastes fresh and homemade. And be sure to buy some house dressing to take home!

This place is better than Olive Garden. Went for the first time on. Saturday for dinner. It was a 30-35 minute wait. There is waiting areas inside. All staff was wearing a mask and tables are spaced for social distancing. I ordered one of the combo plates: taste of Italy. It had manicotti with meat sauce, cheese tortellini with Alfredo sauce and their 15 layer lasagna!
All entrees come with salad (creamy house Italian dressing with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, banana peppers, onion and croutons) and bread sticks! The bread sticks were always warm when they brought them out.

I been here a few times in the past but this year something has changed. I am not sure if they have a new chef but the food has turned for the better. We had Toasted Raviolis, House Salad, Chicken Limonata with added capers, and Veal Parmesan. Our main dishes were delicious and very flavorful. Service was great. One special note was the Angel Hair Pasta and Marinara Sauce it was outstanding with bold flavors

Pretty good place for Italian dishes. Unlimited salad and breadstix was a surprise, so we definitely did not need the appetizer. Fried calamari, chicken cannelloni and the north south combo. Kids cheese pizza as well. Calamari was good, light breading, tangy marinara and survey with a few peppers. Chicken cannelloni was a little disappointing - blended chicken rolled in pasta with alfredo sauce.
The menu said it came with black olives but I didn't see any. I wanted to try something different and that's what happened. The kids pizza was awesome. Light sauce, lots of cheese and the dough was flavorful. The north/south combo had lasagna, manicotti and tortilnni. These were all good.

A group of us (14) stopped in here on a Saturday night at 7pm. We did have to wait about 30min to get seated but once they had room for us they took our orders and brought drinks out really quick. I ordered the Meat Lovers Lasagna and house salad. It was delicious. Lots of meat and very healthy portions of food. Hardly anyone was able to finish because we had so much food. If you're in the area and looking for Italian style you can't go wrong here. I recommen this place.

Ragazzi's catered our company's staff appreciation lunch this year and everyone was a fan of the Lasagna! Unfortunately due to COVID19 we could not order a traditional turkey thanksgiving dinner because of the shortage on turkeys. Instead the Italian spread with house salad, lasagna and breadsticks served it's purpose. The salad was served with the banana peppers which are my fave. The lasagna was extremely moist, meaty, cheesy and filling. The slices we received were humongous! Special thanks to Ragazzi for catering to help staff feel appreciated.

We took our adult kids to Ragazzi's for our 25th wedding anniversary because it was the place of our first date and it was delicious. David, our waiter, obviously loves his job. The service was great. Their cheese sticks are so yummy, and our son loved the tortellini with meat sauce. I had the taste of Italy and enjoyed every bite but took a large portion home. The salad and breadsticks are delicious. Still!

Ok I'm m Not one to write bad reviews based off of timely service. I'm a very patient person. Besides the fact I go to get my food and someone I guess unplugged the device that takes Online orders to charge their IPHONE and it took about 49 mins for take out. Stuff happens. I get back to my hotel room to eat. I ordered "Chicken Marsala Tender sauteed chicken breast with a rich marsala wine gravy and mushrooms. Served with fettuccine alfredo." and calamari.
The calamari was pretty good. But the so-called sauteed chicken breast was two super floppy breaded pieces of chicken in a unsalted brown sauce. I was actually laughing flipping it around and the Alfredo was clumped up in the middle and had no flavor. And on top of that my side was wrong. Wanted sausage and potato and got salad. I mean come on. 24 dollars wasted. So I threw it away and went to zaxby's and got a not floppy grilled chicken salad for 7 dollars.

While at the NC Fair Grounds today for the Annual Carolina Masonic Pig Jig, I was told about Ragazzi's in Garner. I knew of it because I pass by it often, but was skeptical because I had a hard time finding decent Chicago or New York style pizza. I was told if I want good Italian food, give them a try. I went last night (5/18/2019) to try stuffed mushrooms, I called in the order for pick up.
Not only was I greeted by happy smiling great staff, although I was in an Italian restaurant, the bartender ( I'm sorry for not asking his name)that was working that night took the time to offer suggestions of places I might also like to try based on the type of pizza I was looking for, but before I left, he did something quite unexpected, he asked me to give him a minute because he had something for me.
He gave me a cup of the sausage potato soup to try; when I got home and tried it, I was blown away by it AND the stuffed mushrooms. I am a major fan and will be back tomorrow for lunch!

The Meat Lover's Lasagna is textually equal to a mash of meat ground forming a loaf in the middle. There is no execution towards providing a freshly made layered meat experience. Initially, it used to be served on a metal dish straight from the oven. Today it is lumped on a plate doused with sauce. The service is a hit or miss range. Nothing consistent. Plenty of parking which may indicate how locals find the food quality and experience.
