I just used Cannon Catering on 06/11/22. I knew nothing about this caterer, and I have to admit, I was unsure. Boy, was I W-R-O-N-G. They catered a surprise birthday party for my husband., the food was delicious. Jennifer and her crew were OUTSTANDING, so nice and friendly, the service was top notch! The food was marvelous, people were still talking about it the next day! I will definitely use them again!

We used Cannon to cater our wedding and they were an absolute joy to work with! They were so accommodating to all our requests, easy to communicate with and our guests RAVED about how great the food was! Highly recommend using them for all your catering needs!

We loved having Cannon as our wedding caterer! We chose to do the Royal Hors D'oeuvres menu, and it was a big hit with everyone! The service during the wedding was incredibly professional, everyone was very kind and helpful, and made sure everyone was fed and had a piece of cake! There was no issue in communication with Cannon, as they work hard to ensure that all the details for your service are correct.

They listened carefully to our feedback and needs during the tasting, and made sure to go over details several times prior to the wedding event, just to be sure everything was lined up correctly! Would absolutely recommend them for any event!

I worked with Cannon Catering for my wedding and I am so thankful I did! Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal, the communication quick and easy, and the team unbelievably friendly, but on my wedding day I found that the Cannon team went so far above and beyond my expectations to make sure everyone had a fantastic time. For example, my husband and I planned to eat on our own prior to dinner to make sure we had a chance to actually eat, and I brought TV dinner trays to eat off of in a side room. However, when we walked in, Cannon had set up our own little table complete with tablecloth and centerpiece, and it was a much more enjoyable and relaxing dinner.

Even more, I felt like they were willing to jump in anywhere help was needed, including lighting sparklers for our sparkler exit! My wedding day would not have run as smoothly without them, and I ABSOLUTELY recommend Cannon Catering to anyone in need of a catering team!

I just want to give Cannon Catering a great BIG hug and a huge THANK YOU for the AMAZING job their team did for us on Friday night. John and Karla were extremely professional and efficient in getting everything set and ready to go for our attendees. The wait staff was very courteous and moved quickly in getting the food and drinks out. And the food.

It was so delicious! We all truly enjoyed the meal. It's funny because there was so much going on throughout the evening that I didn't think to check on the wait staff until about 8pm and they were gone. They were like ninjas. The set up was super fast and were done and cleaned up at the blink of an eye. They left the area better than how they found it and that was awesome. Thank you to you and your team and we look forward to working with you again soon.

Everything about my experience with Cannon Catering was positive. From Kelly to Jon and everyone else on their team. Everyone was polite, professional, and did what they said they would do. The food and service was very good and the staff was friendly and polite.

Cannon catering was perfect for our wedding day. There were several menu options with plenty of food choices. They offered a complimentary private tasting with them before booking. Great communication with the staff and they provided amazing service at the venue as well. Our favorites were the shrimp and grits, stuffed mushrooms and the golden mashed potatoes. I would highly recommend them for any of your catering needs.

We hired Cannon Catering for our wedding and from beginning to end they were amazing to work with. First off, they have all their pricing, information and menus online which makes it SO much easier rather than having to email back and forth endlessly. Secondly, they are prompt and professional with all of their communication. And thirdly, they made sure everything went flawlessly at the wedding and our rehearsal dinner (we hired them for both that's how awesome they are).

Cannon was so easy to work with! We had a blast at our tasting and they were always quick to answer our questions and accommodate our needs. Cannon Catering actually surpassed my expectations - which says a lot! It was very refreshing to receive the level of professionalism their representatives displayed during the entire event. They went above and beyond the standard of service expected. The servers were punctual, the display was impressionable and of course the food was good! Cannon Catering catered our Granddaughter's wedding on July 18, 2021. The food was absolutely delicious from the hors d'oeuvres to the main buffet and the presentation was lovely. The staff at Cannon Catering was top notch- very professional and skilled, as well as friendly. I cannot say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Cannon Catering.

It was a pleasure to work with Beth throughout the entire process. Her communication was excellent. From the initial inquiry to the completion of the wedding, Cannon Catering exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them.

Along with another family, we recently hosted an event for over 70 people (in a relatively small area). Beth assured us that the Cannon Catering staff would be able to work within our space and help people navigate the buffet with ease. We were not disappointed. The service staff was excellent and delivered on the promise to enable the event to run smoothly. The food was delicious, and priced fairly. Communication before and after the event was easy and timely. Everyone is very professional & friendly.

We were deciding between Cannon Catering and another local company for our wedding. After our tasting, we decided we absolutely could not go with Cannon. While the ladies who own Cannon Catering are very nice, we found them to be utterly unorganized and unprofessional. There were quite a few things we were really unhappy with. For one, communication!

While my emails were responded to fairly quickly, several questions went unanswered and more than once I received one or two line responses to long emails full of information and questions. When we went to set up our tasting, we were not asked what on our picked out menu we wanted to try. We were given virtually no information about the tasting or what that included.

We were given an address for he meeting, but not told that it would take place in the cafeteria of a large business, so at our appointment, we were wandering around for several minutes before figuring out where we were supposed to be. And when we got there, it took us almost 10 minutes to find someone who worked there! When we were finally greeted by one of the owners, we were immediately put off, first because she was wearing jeans and a flannel and just didn't come off professionally at all, but that's not the end of the world.

What really made me angry was that the owner then informed us that even though I'd been emailing with the co-owner for a month, this owner knew NOTHING about us or our wedding. All of the discussions we'd had over email. she didn't know anything about it. She didn't even know WHEN our wedding was. Then she tells me that the company had never done a wedding at our venue, after the co-owner told us SPECIFICALLY over email that they had done more than one event there!

I do not like being lied to and mislead. At that point I already wanted to walk away, but I felt guilty, so we went through with the tasting. The food was nothing special. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was half cold. They served us a sampling of their "most popular" choices - most of which were not things we'd expressed interest in - and all of it was shoved unattractively onto a plastic plate.

The owner then sat and alternately stared at us/ talked through options while we ate, giving us no time to discuss ourselves. It was a VERY uncomfortable experience. The whole thing just felt like they didn't care about our event at all. And I get that - no one will be as excited for our wedding as we are! But honestly, we felt more like we were annoying them then offering them our business.

We left feeling like we had completely wasted our time. My fiance even noted that it looked like food we had made ourselves, not restaurant quality at all, and certainly not up to par with what would be served at a formal event. I'd like to rate them even lower, in all honesty, but I don't want to come across as harsh or unfair since we only had a tasting and decided not to employ them.

Cannon Catering recently catered a brunch event St. John's Episcopal Church on Sunday for a special occasion -- it was excellent! I tend to want to ensure all back up plans are in place - they assured me that everything would be covered; after the church service - everything was perfect, decorated and in place as promised! We got a lot of compliments on the food and the professionalism of the staff! They were really helpful on pricing for planning purposes. We will definitely keep Cannon Catering in mind for future events. Great to work with!

Review based on the most deliciously wonderful cupcakes being sold at Wake Forest Coffee Co. in downtown WF. Husband was such a dear and bought me a cupcake when he was running around downtown. The cupcake was adorable and looked super delish! I could not wait to take a bite. The cupcake was flavorful, moist, and down right yummay! There was a perfect amount of frosting and it had just the right sweetness.

I went back to WFCC today to ask where these baby cakes came from and they proudly told me about Cannon Catering, their website, and where they were located. If you love a good cupcake you need to get up and go get yourself one!
