DJ catered the banquet for our daughter's wedding last weekend at Santa Barbara Women's Club. All the guests and family really enjoyed the dinner. The ribs were so tender, tri-tips were nice and the chickens were very nice done. I was very happy that even my very picky relatives were all happy with the food. The servers did a great job setting up the tables and chairs, plus serving drinks and food. I would definitely recommend them.

Doug was professional, accommodating, and a joy to work with on our recent wedding. DJ's provided everything we needed to host our friends and family in style! They truly are a one-stop shop for your event and party needs. tables, chairs, linens, plates, and flatware, servers, bar tenders, and an excellent catering menu. they have it all! They worked closely with us in preparing gluten free, vegan, and meat options to fit all our dietary needs. Highly recommended!

DJ's provided catering and rentals for the cocktail hour and dinner reception for our outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara. They were great to work with--friendly, responsive, and made tasty food. The team was even able to accommodate last minute additions when the weather changed on us. I had the pleasure of working with Doug from DJ's Catering for our wedding reception in October 2021. He was professional and easygoing. Doug was easy to reach when I had questions (some vendors don't respond in a timely manner) and very patient in answering all of my questions and concerns. DJ's Catering pricing is reasonable and they worked with our budget.

His team arrived to the venue on time and took care of everything. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was flawless. Our guests still comment on the quality of the food! I will use DJ's Catering for any other events.

DJ's just catered a full weekend of meals for our school family retreat. Everyone loved the delicious food from the breakfast frittata & homemade granola to the lunch boxes to the BBQ dinner. The prices were fair and I especially appreciated how responsive and easy to communicate with they were making. After being ghosted by a number of caterers, this was a relief. I found them on Yelp & Google and they lived up to their stellar reviews. We will be using them again next year!

This our second event with you and you did not disappoint. First was our daughters wedding two years ago and now a baby shower. Our guest are still taking about the food and service. DJ's catering knocked it out of the park for our corporate dinner event that our company hosted! They were great to work with on the planning stages and Doug was very detailed oriented! The food was AMAZING! Our attendees would not stop raving about it. All the on-site staff were also very professional and helpful to our team. Can't wait to hear them again for our future events!

Working with DJ's was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding. They have an extensive menu with so many options that it was hard to pick just a few, but once we had our tasting, we knew that anything we chose would be delicious! They were very understanding when we had to cancel and reschedule our wedding due to Covid and provided lots of advice and recommendations along the way. Doug also ensured that all of our specific needs were met and was absolutely amazing to work with.

The fact that they offer event rentals on top of catering is not only convenient, but ensured that the entire setup and breakdown process went as smoothly as possible. Our team of bartenders and servers was extremely polite and attentive and checked in with my husband and me throughout the evening to ensure that everything was running smoothly and to see if we needed anything.

We had brought a special sour beer for my husband and me to drink during the wedding speeches and the bartender remembered this little detail and secretly brought it over to us. We were so grateful that he remembered, because amongst all of the excitement, we certainly didn't! Thank you Doug, for being so wonderful to work with, for providing delicious food and beautiful rental options, and for having such an attentive and hard-working team. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding and our guests raved about the food and dessert selections. We certainly look forward to working with you again in the future!

Great catering company! We recently hired DJ's to cater our daughters wedding, at Rancho de las Palmas. The food was great, service perfect, and the employees were just so nice, and helpful! We added the Cotton candy to be served with the wedding cake, and it was so much fun for the kids! Really a must! Thank you DJ's

Outstanding Service and the food is amazing. They come so prepared, even bring their own flowers. Lamb Pops, Shrimp Skewers, Chicken Skewers, Mushrooms with spinach, fruit and cheese tray and the sauces. oh my the sauces absolutely 5 star! My first experience was amazing and impressive. The team are just so professional and kind and they work with you and your budget. Highly Highly recommend. Great caring people that know how to cook! yum yum yum

Held a dinner party for my daughters 30th birthday, called numerous private chefs and caterers but selected DJ's. My company had used them in the past for luncheons. A server came with all of the dinnerware, great appetizers, salads and a fantastic surf and turf entree. The food was fantastic. Quality of the food was outstanding and they do not skimp on portion size. Your guests will not be grabbing a burger on the way home. You can shop around but the reviews are true, it couldn't have been any better! Thanks Doug and John!

These guys are the best. I've actually been into the office. They keep everything CLEAN and the owner takes such care in keeping his environment safe. On to their service. I have been to tons of weddings and events catered by DJ's and have yet to experience less than stellar service. Their staff really is awesome. Their food-- YUM. Their tri tip is my all time fav, but their pink pasta and Kailua pork are also insanely delish!

Family owned company which especially in times like this I'm a first to promote support, especially when they're so deserving of it! I'm using them for my wedding and wouldn't consider anyone else! Highly recommend!

DJ's Catering's service on and before our wedding day was flawless! Doug took care of us and made the process so much easier with his expert advice. It was easy to trust him with every decision. The food was phenomenal at the tasting and was raved about by all our guests on wedding day! We also rented tables, chairs, linens, glasses, cutlery and the aisle.

What really made our big day so special was Taryn and the rest of the crew that were on site and made sure we were fed and had drinks in hand and did an amazing job cleaning up with little to no effort from us or any of our guests! I don't know how to even begin this review. DJ's Catering is simply incredible! My wife and I recently got married, and DJ's Catering knocked it out of the park. From the moment we contacted DJ's, everything just went so smoothly when it came to planning our wedding. Our main contact throughout our planning was Doug Biggs and I cannot give him enough praise. Doug was super friendly and clear on his communication with us.

He worked with us on planning our meal options, appetizers, bar, table setup, etc. Our guests also had so many positive things to say about DJ's Catering, they were simply blown away by the high level of professionalism of their staff. The food was delicious and everyone raved about the quality of the food. Outstanding, DJ's Catering was the best investment we made towards our wedding. Hiring DJ's California Catering was the best decision we made for our wedding. In the months prior to the even, Doug worked closely with my wife and I regarding the menu and the logistics. He made many helpful suggestions, and was happy to make many small changes along the way. He showed us all the options, and was never pushy and listened to our needs.

I was even able to contact him 2 days prior to add more heat lamps as the weather turned out to be cooler than expected. The food and service were both amazing, and all of the guests were wow'd.

Doug did an AMAZING job for our Malibu Wedding! I cannot say enough about this company! The food was delicious, the bar worked quickly and efficiently, and the table settings were beyond elegant! DJ's Catering does their catering job with a level of professionalism and attention to detail that is rare! If you want all your guests complimenting the food, and you want your venue to look flawless, definitely hire DJ's.

Even more impressive, members of Doug's crew offered to help my wedding coordinator and her team when the events of the evening became overwhelming. They assisted out of kindness! It was such a refreshing display of team-effort! My husband and I really appreciate the enthusiasm, efficiency and positivity with which DJ's Catering operates. DJs catered our wedding at Lions Park and did a wonderful job! The food was not only delicious, but also was set up so wonderfully. Their staff was great at the wedding; keeping all the tables filled with water and desserts set up without me even knowing. They were so on top of it the whole time and ensured that my husband and I were able to eat at our own wedding!

I worked with Jessie leading up to the event and she was so helpful! She didn't push extra unneeded amenities, but encouraged only what we needed. She made the whole process so easy and stress free. Having DJs cater our wedding made the day so peaceful and stress free; I highly recommend them, they are worth more than what we even paid for at the end of the day!

We had DJ's cater a first birthday party this past weekend. Menu was Kahlua pork, teriyaki chicken, asian salad, fruit salad and mac and cheese (their mac and cheese is evidently cult worthy). Food was outstanding, arrived early, set up perfectly, and took down at the end. The server was so kind to our families and made sure everyone had what they needed.

The event had at least 50 people in attendance, but the food came out hot and delicious for everyone. If you ever think you need a caterer, for an event large or small, call DJ's. Food is amazing, staff are so wonderful and owner is a gem. Thanks Doug!

I could not imagine having anyone else cater my wedding besides DJ's! Not only did they provide excellent food (I enjoyed the tasting so much that I did it twice as I wanted to try their whole menu), but they also provided great table, chair, and decorative rentals that transformed my industrial venue into a comfortable and romantic space for our guests. DJ's also helped us with a lot of the planning since I didn't have a wedding planner, so Doug helped me plan the whole schedule and floor layout, and the reception turned out absolutely perfect. Doug was a quick communicator and very professional and flexible, he incorporated our ideas while also pulling from his years of experience with events. The DJ's staff takes amazing care of you, I'm SO glad I had them do our wedding :) Thank you DJ's!

This review is for our wedding which was held on January 6, 2018 at Malibu West Beach Club. DJ's came as one of our venue's recommended vendors, and that showed in how well they knew the venue! And though they were up against a couple of others when we started our search, we chose them based on the strength of the quickness and clarity of Doug and his team's replies--and I'm so happy we did!

They were our one-stop shop and so they took care of all tableware, tables, cloths, bartending services (we were able to supply our own alcohol!) and, of course, food! (!) WHAT WE GOT: Hors d'oeuvres: Ahi Tuba Poke on a Wonton Crisp; Sea Scallops wrapped with Bacon; Petite Mango and Avocado Baskets // Everything here was amazing--all three were solid choices and I still remember them to this day! Buffet Entrees: Grilled Angus Tri-Tip; Grilled Tilapia; Three Cheese Macaroni; Penne Mozzarella Pasta; Rustica Salad // The tri-tip!

So perfect and so tender. The three cheese macaroni deserves all the praise everyone else gave it. And the rustic salad--the delicious dressing paired so well with the smoked apples and gouda! Late Night Snacks: Kahlua Pork Sliders; Mini California Dog // Our guests loved these--and I'd give the edge to the mini California dog! (!) SERVICE: Amazing in every sense.

Our tables and napkins looked picture-perfect. We're also happy that we were actually able to eat and enjoy our wedding food! DJ's staff worked with our coordinators and served us hors d'oeuvres after our ceremony. They also prepared plates for us for our entrees when the time came. and they even constantly checked up on us in case we needed anything!

We literally wanted for nothing. (!) TIDBITS: Our tasting day was an experience in itself! We drove out to Ventura the morning after we landed in LAX and we were treated very well by Alexandra. Her refreshing positivity and hospitality made us feel energized again! She and Doug were also very clear in explaining everything and in making sure everything was good to go. Seriously hoping one of our friends gets married in Malibu too. and hoping they pick DJ's so we can have that tri-tip again!

I cannot say enough about DJ's. Our wedding was on May 12, 2018. The food was outstanding. From the day I met with Doug Biggs, he provided me with immediate communication, down to every detail. The staff was amazing. So very professional in every way. They took care of every detail. My guests gave me great feedback. They too were very impressed with the catering service DJ's provided. I highly recommend DJ's. They are the best!

DJ's is awesome. We used them for our wedding and their food, affordability, and staff did not disappoint! Doug was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the planning process. He promptly answered our question filled emails and made us feel at ease on our wedding day. I'll admit, I wasn't super stoked on their food after our tasting, but the wedding day food blew me away.

It was DELICIOUS! We received so many compliments from guests on the food. There was plenty of good food for everyone; so much that many of our guests went back for 2nds and even thirds. The staff was super friendly and made the set up and clean up a breeze. They even packaged up our leftover food, cake, and pies so we could enjoy them later. Thank you folks so much for helping make our wedding day so stress-free and fun!
