Betty's is a great place to meet my clients before going to showings, I love the veggie omelette! The staff and food are great, I bring the family there and we are always thrilled with the food and people!

This is the best dive diner in the area. Food is epic and completely unhealthy for you but you will love every bite. I'm sure there was a healthy thing or two on the menu that I skipped over for all the amazing other greasy and gravy covered amazing ness. Portions were huge and you shouldn't walk away hungry. Doesn't look like much outside or in but the staff makes you feel like your mom is taking your order. Worth the stop in.

One word - DELICIOUS! Actually, one word doesn't do this establishment justice. Tasty, creative, comfort-food with flare! I ordered the Betty's Signature Veggie Wrap [breakfast burrito or hot sub of sorts]. PHENOMENAL concoction! It's a symphony of flavors in every bite! Asparagus, broccoli, peppers, onion, mushrooms. mixed in with scrambled egg and cheese [hope I got it all] in a spinach wrap, served warm smothered in hollandaise sauce!
It's approximately the size of a 6"-8" sub and filled to about 3"-4" round. Got mine with a side of their "doctored-up" baked beans - I'd call them a successful 'operation!'. Thanks to Megan, our server, for pleasant, professional, warm, knowledgeable service! It was a joy to visit your cozy establishment, we WILL be returning and highly recommend!

Traveling from NH to Maine, we were starving and decided to see what was in the area for breakfast. We drove up to Betty's Kitchen, where there were lots of outdoor tables with umbrellas. The service was prompt. The food was GREAT! I had the 2-2-2 breakfast: 2 pieces of bacon, 2 French toast and 2 eggs. My husband had a breakfast crepe with ham, asparagus and Bernaise on top, which was so big, he couldn't eat it all. Such a friendly place to eat and very Covid compliant.

OMFG I had every intention to take a photo of my breakfast plate at the beginning and then post that, but the smells tempted me into trying a bite and I almost couldn't stop. So freaking good. To anyone an everyone in the New England area you have to come here for breakfast. I swear you will not regret it. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. Even in the midst of this pandemic they are able to adhere to the rules and offer take out and indoor and outdoor seating. Mask are required when you are not at your table.

Had very good experience. Our server was attentive without going overboard. The food was very good as well. I had an Veggie Egg Benedict $12 : asked for no butter on english muffin, seems like the veg was sauteed very lightly too (I usually get an awful heartburn from cheap oil), so this could be your healthier option. A small downside was that I got two little pieces of egg shell in my Benedict; fortunately I noticed them prior eating (Just want to pass the word). Portions are big. My friend had Jumbo set $12 (2eggs, toast, home fries, meat, juice and 2 pancakes). We had to take pancakes home, because we were full.

I went to Betty's for the first time in thirty years and it hasn't changed a bit. The food is just as good as I remembered it to be. My only complaint is they use Spic n' Span to clean off the tables and it leaves a strong odor. In the middle of my meal the bus person sprayed down 2 tables near us and it made the rest of our breakfast unpleasant.

We found this place because every place we came to before it was packed, it didn't look like much from outside, but we were thrilled (and lucky) that they had a table big enough for 5 of us. The service was top notch, I love when that happens. Everything came out quickly It was great that we could get lunch or dinner, so 3 of us got breakfast, the pancakes were good and the bacon was cooked perfectly.
My son got the bacon cheeseburger omelet and he was raving about good it was. The Reuben was so good! The portion of chicken tenders was big, it became 2 meals when we took it home. The fries and homefries were cooked perfectly. The coffee was good, the small chocolate milk were tiny but we'd just get the large next time. Overall a great experience!

Greasy spoon with traditional fare. My meal was fine (lunch sandwich) but the water in my coffee and ice water glass I asked for was HIGHLY questionable. "Oily" describes both examples. I usually give anyplace a second chance but not this one. Portsmouth Health Department would have shut this place long ago - no so in this town.

Came here for brunch last Sunday, very cute local spot on our way home from a weekend getaway in Portsmouth. I got the stuffed french toast which was delicious and ultra indulgent/sweet-- filled with fruit, brown sugar, and whipped cream. My boyfriend got an item on the specials menu that was eggs Benedict on a biscuit. That was incredible, I kept stealing bites of it and he had to fend me off! We both left feeling satisfied and full.

Always friendly greetings when you come through the door at Betty's Kitchen! Great home cooked meals. We enjoy breakfast at Betty's, especially on the weekends. We've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. You'll find you get a plateful of food here so no one ever leaves hungry! Bottomless pot of coffee and most other drinks have free refills as well.
This morning my husband had the Veggie Omelet with toast and I had scrambled eggs, hash browns bacon and toast. Nothing left on our plates when we were done! If you love good bacon, Betty's has some of the most delicious bacon in the area. Excellent breakfasts await you here for sure!

Ok, first let me preface this by saying my review is biased. I have been coming to Betty's since 1981 and while it may not be everyone's cup of tea, it is one of my favorite breakfast places anywhere. I live in California but whenever I am within 50 miles I make the effort to come back for a hearty Hash Smash! The food is really good. And they have gone to great lengths to provide a satisfying meal without being too greasy and bad for you. there is just enough!
A few years back the ownership upgraded the interior and it remains very homey and clean. The staff are some of the friendliest people you would ever want to meet. Menu has plenty of options. but don't look for cutting edge sections, just good, honest and sensible offerings. I love Betty's Kitchen, I hope you will too.

Classic New England Diners are some of my favorite places to eat, particularly on a Sunday like this where I had been out late Saturday and had a long drive ahead of me. I've been to many, many places like this in Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, so while I really wanted to enjoy Betty's, the service and food both left something to be desired.
Service was mostly friendly but quite slow; even on busy days (and even with parties of 6) I expect faster than 20+ minutes for food to arrive. The food that did arrive was about average, though the sausage gravy + biscuits were some of my least favorite anywhere. The gravy was runny, the sausage tasted like ground beef, and the biscuits were small and hard. My friends' meals were good sized but equally disappointing, with most nobody in our group (all of diner-lovers) giving any major kudos for the meal.

For years Betty's Kitchen in N Hampton has been the best place to get a great breakfast. it's where the locals go! Be sure to try the eggs Benedict with corned beef hash on a fresh bagel. order the Hash Smash 2. yummy! The waitresses are always attentive and friendly. and the endless coffee will help you wake up.

You want a killer breakfast AND amazing service? You need to go to Betty's Kitchen for all of your breakfast and brunch cravings. Let's start with the service; On point and simply wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and it almost feels like you are sitting in your kitchen with your family, The food? Well I had the Pigs In A Blanket; slightly spicey sausage wrapped in buttermilk pancakes. Oh my word, it was AWESOME. Pancakes were fluffy, sausage was crisp and the syrup was quite good. Way to go Betty's Kitchen! I will most definitely be back!

North Hampton, New Hampshire --- "Betty's Kitchen" is a pARTy Gods' find for sure! Noticed (& considered "Betty's Kitchen" on my 10 mile drive to Salisbury Beach & Hampton Beach in quest of "ma & pa" breakfast place. ABSOLUTELY no eateries in my 20+ mile round trip south & back north again. I eventually arrived back at "Betty's Kitchen", a eatery with everything I search for in a breakfast place!. owner/operated, counter-seating, super-smiling server Laura, decades of history, along US Route 1, tasty-riffic New Hampshire sausage, & "even" a pepper-shaker that "peppers" (holes bigger than pepper)! Betty started with just a pass-thru food window in 1950 & it has grown, but I am sure Betty (who no longer here) is proud of having her name on the door. #RunAwayBill #DUSATour2016 "Run-A-Way Bill" was here! 05.25.16
