Herban Feast Catering/Sweet & Savory Pantry

We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue! The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to do it. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails it with their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Food was super important to us and they delivered. I highly recommend both The Foundry and Herban Feast!

Herban Feast catered for our wedding at Parties on the Terrace on 5/21/22. The food was incredible, the staff were kind and gracious, and the bar tenders made some amazing drinks. Katie our planner helped us think through the big picture down to the little details (like having a private moment with my husband after the ceremony - complete with appies and drinks!) They helped coordinate our linen and dinnerware rentals, etc. which was a huge help since we didn't know where to start. After 2.5 years of wedding postponements, they were a big part of making our day feel really special. Thank you!

AMAZING! We had our wedding reception at The Foundry by Herban Feast on 4/2/2022. Number on thing: staff were out of this world. Our coordinator, Kate, was so responsive and flexible. The catering staff were not only talented, but were great during our tasting dinner. They helped us create the perfect menu and select the perfect drinks! Lastly, but most certainly not least, the night of staff were FABULOUS.

I've never met such a nice bunch of folks! The bartenders, attendants, kitchen staff, everyone. They were not just polite and professional, but were sincerely pleasant and not robotic or anything like that. The venue is, of course, beautiful. We had no issues with the venue and it was very pretty, even without decoration or flowers. But dang, the staff! You have a good group of people, Herban Feast. You made the experience so amazing and you'll forever have our gratitude.

Excellent. Service second to none. Food quality and taste second to none. Attention to detail, yes, second to none. Best catering company ever to come out of Seattle! Our family are like kings and queens! Kudos to herban Feast!

We are beyond happy we chose Herban Feast to cater our wedding. I had been to the Foundry a few times and I knew I wanted them to be a part of my wedding in some fashion from the start (either venue, food, or floral). From the moment we contacted them, they were a pleasure to work with. We worked with Mary, who helped us through the process of picking out our food, coordinating with the day of team, and she was really responsive to answering all of the small behind-the-scenes questions I had.

They have multiple tastings a year so you can get a really good sense of the options and styles they have, meet the chefs, and ask questions to help tailor your courses to your special day. Day of, their staff is professional, responsive, and flexible and they truly helped make our day one to remember. When I say the food is AMAZING it's an understatement - everything Herban Feast makes is beyond delicious and our guests were talking about the food for weeks after. If we ever have a big party or celebration, Herban Feast will definitely be our go-to. Thank you, Herban Feast!

I chose Herban Feast to cater my wedding at a private residence on Vashon Island. BJ and his crew had great communication the week of my wedding and on the day of it was like meeting an old friend, instantly putting me at ease. All our guests loved the menu and the food, fresh ingredients and tasteful presentation sealed the success of dinner. We did go over budget but it was worth it and I have no regrets.

I would choose Herban Feast again for my next event. I also used Herban Bloom for my bouquet and boutonnieres which BJ also owns and they came out lovely and I received lots of compliments on the flowers as well! Class act!

We can't thank BJ and the Herban Feast crew enough for everything they did to make our daughter's dream wedding come true, making it the most beautiful event imaginable. But first, a story. First there was Covid, which necessitated a smaller event than planned. Then came the fires in eastern Washington, where we planned to host about 100 people. With three weeks to go before the big day, all our plans had to be changed and moved to Seattle. BJ came to the rescue, finding us the most amazing venue -- Amor & Paz on Vashon Island.

All our guests agreed that we could not have found a more gorgeous setting had we started planning three years before! And BJ secured this beautiful garden wedding just three weeks before our guests were to arrive. Beyond this, BJ worked with our daughter whose wish was to have her friends camp out. He made this dream come true as well. On top of this, he worked with us to help us fit the whole thing into our budget.

On the day of the event, the crew was diligent, professional, and super nice! The food was over the top delicious. Every guest said this was honestly the best, most beautiful wedding they've attended. BJ, Lisa and everyone, you are the best and we owe you a huge debt of gratitude for making our daughter's dream wedding happen.

BJ went above and beyond for our wedding. He was extremely accommodating, helpful and worked with us as we had to navigate the constantly changing COVID regulations and restrictions around food service. I was blown away by the food presentation and quality. Our guests raved about the food and everyone was really happy. I highly recommend Herban Feast if you need a caterer for your next event!

My fiance and I had booked Herban Feast/ Sodo Park for our wedding. guess what didn't get to happen this year? The entire staff at Herban Feast from Mary to BJ and everyone in between could not have been better to work with! The food, oooh the food, IS SO DAMN GOOD! The manchego butter sauce on the beef tenderloin is something dreams are made of.

The tasting we did get to do has been a highlight of the year! Chef Suzie was so nice and helped us create a great menu that our guests would have been sure to enjoy. I am sad we didn't get to go through with everything this year, but we will be using Herban Feast for every event possible in the future! Thanks for everything guys!

Herban Feast catered our 130-person wedding in Seattle. Due to dietary restrictions we asked for the entire menu to be gluten-free (including bread, waffles, fried chicken, pasta, and desserts!), and Herban Feast gave us plenty of gluten-free options to choose from. The food was delicious and plentiful! They also surprised us with cute food signs in our wedding's Star Trek theme!

Herban Feast was outstanding. The execution of the food was simply perfection and service was top notch. Our wedding was at a private residence and the team absolutely nailed it. Rosalyn and her team were fantastic at my client's wedding on 08/27/17 in Thornewood Castle. Everything was flawless. The food was prepared beautifully and was DELICIOUS. They were also really reasonably priced compared to other companies. Rosalyn was such a pleasure to work with, and she made the planning process easy. I would love to recommend Herban Feast to my other client in the future.

AMAZING! That's the best word that I can use for them. They catered our wedding and did such an amazing job. We coordinated from across the country. They are well organized, professional and fun. All of the servers were great. The food was SPECTACULAR. Many of our guests commented that this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I would recommend them over anyone. Well done!

We were fortunate enough to be able to host our wedding ceremony and reception at the Foundry by Herban Feast in SODO on March 19. We booked in September for a March wedding, and despite the quick planning time, the staff was helpful in all aspects. We received several special tours of the venue per request with various family and friends involved with planning, and received free tickets to the winter season open house to plan our menu and visualize the space.

The catering staff on our big day were attentive, organized, and ready to make adjustments when needed, and worked well with our outside vendors. Contracts were updated promptly via email correspondence and Taylor the event coordinator helped make this process so personable and fun. Perhaps the biggest compliment about the wedding day itself was actually from several guests stating "we have NEVER had better food at a wedding." This space is fun and can hold up to 200 people, and with three major rooms to work with, the night flowed perfectly. Thank you to the entire team at the Foundry by Herban Feast for helping create our wedding day--I will recommend you a thousand times over!

We recently had our wedding at SoDo Park catered by Herban Feast and decorated by Herban Design Studios. Herban Feast - The food was fabulous! They were so very accommodating as myself and a good portion of my wedding party are Gluten Free and they were great about answering our questions during the planning stages and making sure we had the meal that we wanted.

We went with the family style dining and it was a ton of fun. The cider roasted veggies and rosemary beef tenderloin were just perfect. The only thing that was a bit off was the late night snack. We had decided to go with the truffle popcorn as me and my husband are big popcorn fans. However it was rather stale and you really couldn't taste the truffle.

Beyond this, we were very pleased with the meal. Matt with Herban Feast was great. Very communicative, and answered all of our questions. He helped get everything sorted out for our event. The venue was beautiful and it's just a great space. Perfect for a ceremony and reception. We could not have asked for a more perfect space. Herban Design Studio - They do beautiful work, but you have to really be on top of things.

Even though we met in person and I thought Rebecca had taken detailed notes, her initial proposal was fairly wrong and we had to go back and forth a few times. I'm also not sure if she is just constantly busy, but she is slow to respond and I had to badger them about final payment. The flowers and decor turned out beautifully though.

Just about the best catering experience I've ever had. The staff made it excellent. Their attention to the details big and small and especially their attention to our guests was the icing on the cake. Great food, great drink. Not a negative comment from anyone.

Herban Feast was the caterer at a private event I went to last night. I was impressed with the food presentation they had at the event and everything I ate was wonderful! Some of my favorites were the three cheese platter, the individual pot stickers, the crab cakes and the chicken fava bean small plate. Even the pesto style dip for the veggies were delicious!

Everything I had was tasty! The food was stationed around the room as well as a few dishes that they passed around as well. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and kept bringing out and around food, which I am always a fan of. I was super impressed with everything and will definitely be looking into using Herban Fast Catering at upcoming events for my company and/or in my personal life!

Herban Feast rocks! My husband and I hired them to cater our wedding, as well as using their Design Studio for the decor, and we could not have been more pleased with how things turned out. Mary, who handled the catering end, and Chelsea, who took care of the decor, were both friendly, smart, and professional from day one. They often had answers to questions my husband and I didn't even realize we should be asking, and they made the whole experience fun and as worry-free as possible.

We went with their Roving Feast idea, and it was a huge hit. The food was spectacular, and the staff was extraordinarily friendly and professional. They definitely helped make our night a success. I'd have no qualms whatsoever about hiring HF again -- they clearly know what they're doing.

My wedding was last week on the steamship Virginia V, and I have to say that everything about Herban Feast's service was outstanding. The food was beautiful, unique, fresh and so flavorful; and through some unimaginable wizardry, didn't seem at all diminished by the last-minute two-hour delay in the sailing of the ship (and therefore serving timeline).

While I am certain the lengthy delay was very stressful for the crew, they didn't show it at all. They were perfectly attentive, gracious, and yet unobtrusive. My glass was never empty with a variety of drinks, and the crew captain was always handy with updates and consultations. I received a TON of compliments from my guests about the food, and heard that many went back for seconds (we had the strawberry brie bites, crab cakes, and a buffet with the market salad, salmon, beef loin, gnocchi, and roasted vegetables).

Finally - in addition to composed appetizers and dinner plates - we got two 'composed' boxes of leftovers to take home (which was perfect, because it was hard to relax and focus enough to properly enjoy the meal during the wedding)! I chose Herban Feast because they were so highly rated, and I wanted great food and service that I didn't have to worry about. Their service was not inexpensive, but absolutely worth every penny. Bravo!

Super yummy! We were lucky to be able to sample Herban Feast's amazing creations at a tasting event at the Sodo Park location. Everything was delightful and we enjoyed the helpful, friendly staff as well. The presentations were very cool. they served a chicken salad in a little mini waffle cone - neato! I truly believe that super cliche thing everyone says, "you eat with your eyes first" and so beautiful food is something I really appreciate.

We ended up requesting a quote from them for our wedding and found their prices to be right in line with other large catering companies in the area. which was surprising to us as after the quality we experienced at the tasting event we really expected it to be much higher.

So my wife and I used Herban Feast for our wedding in August and I can say that they earned their 5 stars easily on that day as well as during the months prior during planning. My background is in food, catering, and events and for our wedding we had a lot of specifics and particular details we were interested in. Herban Feast took our vision and not only executed it, they helped us to expand and customize it.

We had the owner as our event planner and he went above and beyond for our wedding. His consistent eye and attention to detail was exactly what we wanted and it helped to provide everyone there that evening with a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious and all freshly made. We received a lot of "wows" from guests that evening as well as in the weeks following.

I had the intent to go around and talk with a lot of our guests during the reception, but I actually made the observation that evening that most of them where too busy eating - literally going back again and again and trying everything that was available. The food presentation was spectacular. BJ, the owner, created finishing touches on all of the displays we had designed and they were gorgeous. Edible art for sure.

The pictures look like food photography pictures or displays right out of magazines. Keep in mind that being specific and detailed about what you want is important. You may pay more for it, but with a company like this, they will step up and deliver exactly what you have communicated. Thanks guys. Everything was spectacular ~

Wonderful dinner! Our work had this company cater last night and the food was great! Gorgeous creamy lemon chicken, wild rice with mushrooms, grilled veggies and an assortment of wheat rolls. The presentation of the meal was wonderful as well and sometimes this can be hard to do when it is a "buffet style". Cater waiting staff was great too!

My girlfriend and I attended a wedding in early December here and the event itself was beautiful, the food was pretty good as well. The night was actually pretty amazing until we went to the coat check that the bride and groom paid extra for at the end of the night handed them our claim ticket only to be told that my girlfriends coat was not there.

The coat check girl said she may have read the numbers wrong and handed it to the wrong guest. My girlfriend was upset as she'd just received the coat as a gift and let's face it, Seattle winter is barely getting started in December! After being pressed, the coat check girl took my information and said she would contact us. This never happened and after multiple calls to Herban, I asked the groom for the owners information.

Initially the owner BJ said that one of the bridesmaids must have taken the coat. After further prodding from me he said he would contact his insurance company. Three months after following up and checking in only to get the run around and no resolution I've turned to Yelp so that at least others will be aware of what poor customer service we received at a luxurious expensive venue.

I recently attended a fabulous wedding catered by Herbanfeast. I hate to say this because you are supposed to go to the wedding for joining of two people, blah blah blah. I'm there for the food and the cake! After the beautiful (really, it was!) wedding we enjoyed some passed appetizers of Sweet Potato & Dungeness Crab Cakes with chipotle remoulade & minced chive, Vegetarian Fresh Rolls with mango, papaya, veggies & opal basil with Thai sweet chili dipping sauce, and Bruschetta topped with smoked salmon mousse, olive & thyme tapenade and roasted eggplant caponata - along with a choice of red or white wine.

After an hour or so of snacking, drinking, and schmoozing - we were seated for dinner and table by table went up and helped ourselves to a delicious buffet. The buffet included lots of yummyness - Salad of Organic Greens with edible flowers, fresh berries, candied almonds, & goats cheese, Caprese Salad with heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & sweet basil, Bread & Rolls, Grilled Wild Salmon Fillets with a three herb sauce, Grilled Tender Beef Loin Steaks with pan roasted cippolini onions.

The Sparkling berry lavender lemonade - was phenomenal! Granted - I have no idea how much the whole thing cost - but it was delicious and perfectly presented. Next time I have an event for work I'll certainly give them a shot, I suspect that they might be too pricey for non-profit land - but I hope I can use them. I loved the nice folks, the great flavors, and the perfectly prepared food!
