TLDR: Came for the food, stayed for the pig/nascar decor. Lovely place with a unique atmosphere, absolutely intrigued by the mural of the pigs. We ordered the fried chicken but noticed that a lot of people had ordered sandwiches instead. The fried chicken was just kind of bland, but I feel like we didn't order the right thing so we definitely will be back to try a different item next time.

So nice to leave DC and have a taste of Southern hospitality! Coming here was like a trip back in time! I'm so glad not much of an effort has been made to modernize! Rich with kitsch! We both had the pulled pork sandwich, their most popular offering. I was not prepared for the kick it packed, perhaps I'm just a weakling! It was very tasty, I had mine with fries, hubby had his with spicy onion rings. Hush puppies and cole slaw came along for the ride.
We also shared a pint of homemade vegetable beef soup, yummy! Good prices. Good, quick and friendly service. We never saw a bill, but my math tells me a tip was included in the bill;-

This was the best bbq chicken we've ever had. Ever. Moist, juicy, tender and terrific flavor. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and it was delicious. Cole slaw was outstanding. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly and right on top of things. The inside of the restaurant was filled with every kind of pig decor imaginable. This must have been an old drive up restaurant back in the day.
