El Saguarito does concessions along with their catering services. We have done concessions for many years for events like the University of Arizona Basketball, Football, Volley ball and Baseball games. We do the Mexican food concessions for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, and Tucson Sidewinders Baseball teams. We do concerts, festivals and other events.

I mainly come here for the great gluten-free and vegetarian options, and the food is pretty good too. More than half the menu is GF, and the emphasis is on healthier Mexican food, from the choice and source of the fresh ingredients all the way through preparation. the menu is sometimes hit-and-miss, some things are fabulous and other things are so-so, and it may also just depend on the night.
I would definitely give them a try. I confess that I really miss their old location at Campbell and Prince where they had that great outdoor patio and would have live music some evenings. They do still have live music at this new location; however, everything is closed in. The inside is nice, but the main dining room is dim.

The server was very nice and efficient, but the food was not good. The cheese crisp was mushy, the red chili beef was dry and not flavorful, the soup was terrible. I have been to their old location and thought the food was pretty decent, but this past trip was extremely disappointing. The chips were good, but the salsa was pretty watery. I'm not sure what happened.

My order got mixed up (ordered shrimp, got chicken) so had to wait a bit while everyone else ate. But they said I could have the shrimp and they would put the chicken taco plate in a box so I could have it free of charge which was very nice. Rice and beans were very tasty and my shrimp tacos were delicious. First time eating authentic Mexican food so I really enjoyed the flavors. Waitresses were very nice.

My family has been frequenting this place since it opened. It is family owned and operated. The food is great. The live music on the patio is always really nice and creates a warm comfortable atmosphere. They make our food to-order, even when it deviates quite a bit from the menu, which we really appreciate. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a local, comfortable, friendly atmosphere with live entertainment.

Location: This is located near a strip-mall shopping center on Campbell and Prince. Not too hard to find just tucked in the parking lot of the strip mall. First impression: Looked like a fun place to eat. Has a nice patio area. Had two ladies out in the patio area making fresh tortillas so that was nice to see. I heard you could purchase tortillas filled with different fillings right at their station but we did not get to do that at the time.
This restaurant looks like a good place to spend Happy Hour also. Food: Food was excellent. It tasted fresh and presentation was good. Was not a "big" fan of the "enchilada side" but did like the "zucchini" side dish. Their appetizer Salsa was very tasty with a little edge to it. They did well on their refills as any of the servers who walked by refilled their beverage (my tip is always based off not only food but refill availability and timeliness). :) Overall: Yes I would definitely go back. My family loved it and so did I. They usually have coupons available in mailings so that makes it even better. I think you should give this a shot if you are in the area.

Loved my experience here! Came with a large group and were seated right away, after offering all the kids free, fresh tortillas with choice of sweet toppings. Very good tortillas! All the staff were fun and friendly. Festive live music on heated patio. Very tasty food and HUGE portions! Green chili beef was tender, a bit spicier than expected. Lots of good gluten free options!
