Decided to try this restaurant for some small plates on our date night tonight. Service was good, not overly pushy, but attentive enough to meet our needs. We ordered the lobster cigars, asparagus, and the escargot for "dessert." All the food was very good. The escargot was the highlight! I have had escagot across the world and these were some of the best I have ever had.
Almost needed to lick the plate good. Sorry, did not get a picture of the escagot. We ate them too fast. Cocktails were ok, but would mostly return for the food. Thank you for a lovely evening close to closing!

One of my favorite restaurants in Greenville. Cazbah is a hidden gem off Main St. Nice ambience with a large wine selection. Dim lighting so perfect for a date night. It is a pretty small restaurant so make sure to make a reservation in advance. My favorite plates are the seared tuna, lobster cigars, duck, escargot. So many great options! I would highly recommend going with a group and getting to try a little bit of everything.

This is a small plate joint. Great service and outdoor seating is available. The bar plays sports and is quick with drinks. Got the spinach dip, beef Wellington (puffs), and escargot. Spinach Dip: No complaints. Great dip, crispy chips. Seasoned. Good stuff. Beef Wellington: These come in puffs. You get three and pay for each additional one after that. Puffs wouldn't be bad, I've had them in that style before, but it was very doughy in texture. Additionally, the beef filling was minute to the point they couldn't cook it to medium rare.
Pretty tender tho, to a paste-like point, if that's your thing. It's not mine. Their Wellingtons are pretty violated tbh. Escargot: Pretty good. Recommended well over the Wellington if you're any interested. They actually cook this one spot on so it doesn't feel slimy from being undercooked or rubbery from being overcooked. If you're curious I would definitely recommend. There is an aftertaste that 1/3 of us didn't like, but it wasn't nasty, more weird. As long as you keep eating, you can't even notice.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Got the sushi roll and duck and the duck was phenomenal It's a great atmosphere and very low key, the service was great and the food came out quick. The only complaint is how long the waitress took to take our cards and pay The host (general manager) bought my friend and I dessert for our birthdays and that was the sweetest thing. Super happy we came here. Thank you again Davide

Amazing Amazing! Small and quaint with a great vibe! We sat for a couple of hours and every dish was better than the last. Tuna and duck dishes were our favorites. Oh and the lamb pops and ribeye very tasty and prepared perfectly! Great wine list! Staff was super friendly and very attentive. We would have eaten there again had we been in town longer. This place will not disappoint!

The tapas ASTOUND! This is a cute little spot. Decor inside impresses. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. The people watching will keep you busy and you will see people from all walks of life. My fiance and I spent an hour and a half there. We had great cocktails, but we should have taken advantage of the wine special. Next time!

Pretty cool atmosphere. Food was great. Tapas definitely mean small portions so be prepared to order 4 mini meals, an appetizer and a dessert to fill up. I enjoyed it.the only thing I didnt care for especially in this current world climate is the fact that the expo did not wear gloves and used her hands to take toppings out of the fridge and place them on the plates, especially after watching her walk around and do other tasks without washing her hands in between. Otherwise, it was great.

We have lived in Greenville for almost 30 yrs and just discovered this lovely little hole in the wall. The food was fabulous, service was perfect, thank you Devin! and the atmosphere was nice. Personally, I believe the only thing missing is some nice soft jazz music. That would make it a 5! We will definitely be back, hoping for some jazz!

This was our first time here but it definitely won't be the last! Andrea was soooo accommodating to our large party! I was unsure of the size of our party for a surprise birthday celebration and she was so nice and understanding. Great communication. Once we arrived the food service and atmosphere was spectacular! Johnny was our server and he did a wonderful job taking care of our entire party.

Have been many times over the years and consistently great spot off Main. With 2 we opted for seats at the bar. What a great secluded part of the Cazbah to enjoy an evening. Fantastic bartender drinks and service excellent. We enjoyed escargot (must order) cooked perfectly and the sauce it's served in is lick-every-drop-outa-da-dish good. Paired that with other seafood items mussels and ahi tuna.
All excellent. Craft cocktails were fantastic. Special note if you like drinks similar to whiskey sours, order the Highest Trails Above which is a spin on that classic. I had a few and wanted more but had to drive home later. Asked ourselves why we don't come here more often. I think we will.

I just closed on my house in Greenville and decided to venture out and celebrate. Found this spot after viewing the ratings and was not disappointed. Ribeye was absolutely fantastic. However, the bartender, phenomenal BTW recommended that I try the shrimp and grits. Not a fan of grits so she gave me the shrimp and sauce only. Let me tell you that it was one top 5 dishes I've ever had. OMG! Service was extraordinary and food was so on point! Definitely my new go to restaurant.

The inside of the restaurant is super cute, but the menu is small considering its a tapas restaurant. Also, I didn't have anything that wowed me. I ordered the coconut shrimp, panko asparagus, southern fried sushi roll, and the shrimp and grits. I couldn't eat the shrimp and grits, as I asked for no bacon and it was bacon all through it ( I asked the guy who brought it out and he looked at me and said no although I could see bacon pieces on top ).
The other items were cooked correctly, but I have had better versions of these same items at other restaurants. I ordered a cocktail and I can't remember the name of it, but it had a slight cinnamon taste and I didn't care for it at all. Our actual server was super nice and attentive and I would go back if they put new items on the menu to try. * pictured is the Lamb lollipops which my date had. They stated that they were cooked correctly and had a good flavor, but nothing too impressive.

My wife and I seen this little restaurant while searching for restaurants in Greenville. It looked interesting and the menu looked really good. It was our 26th year anniversary. We made reservations. We got to the restaurant. It was a quaint little restaurant off of the main Street. We had never had this kind of food before so we wanted to try lots of things.
We ordered the escargot, the lobster cigars, the lollipop lamb chops and the chicken and goat cheese enchiladas. My wife loved the escargot and the chicken enchiladas. I enjoyed the lobster cigars and love the lamb chops. It was our first time there and our first time having those foods. Everything was delicious. They are tapas so you don't get as much but they are so inexpensive that you can try everything.
The only issue we had was that our waitress brought us our check and apparently went on break. We didn't see her for 15 minutes and we had to flag down another waitress. We will definitely be back.

We returned to meet friends for dinner. We no longer live nearby, but will always consider The Cazbah one of our favorites in all of Greenville. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious and service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for either date night or hanging out with friends. A great choice if you're searching for the best food downtown. Be sure to make a reservation for downstairs!

Was visiting and the great yelp reviews pushed me in the door. This place did not disappoint! The ambiance was excellent, the service was amazing. But the food. Omg the food. The lobster cigars were outstanding and lived up to every bit of the hype! The bread of the day was some of the best I've ever had. We also had the beef Wellington and a tuna dish that were both outstanding. Thank you so much for the great experience Cazbah!

Food was delicious- highly recommend the lobster cigars & the sushi. The seared tuna was good; but the sauce seemed out of place - tasted like a mix of BBQ and tomato sauce? Was strange with the seaweed salad and wasabi aioli. Wine was delicious. Atmosphere is cool, however a little dark. Sat upstairs which was a cool touch. Server seemed like she expected you to order 5+ plates - boyfriend and I split the tuna, lobster and sushi and are comfortably full.

One of the best tapas restaurants i have ever been to. What a great place we stumbled upon. So good that we came here twice within 10 days. All the servers are very friendly and every dish we ordered was exceptional. That is very hard to find. Nothing was average. The escargot, beef wellington, lobster rolls, shrimp tacos all have so much flavor and were so tasty. Dessert was amazing too. If you go before 7 wine bottles are 25% off during the week and we found the prices very fair

Food and cocktails here are very good. We really enjoy ordering a number of the "small bites" to share. In particular the mini lamb chops are delicious! The custom cocktails are also very good. It's a tiny place, though, so it's a little cramped, there's not a ton of seating and lot of what seating there is is in the middle of traffic. Servers seem to be stretched a little thin between tending bar and making custom cocktails by themselves, and then also serving.
Even so, service was pretty prompt. The decor inside is pretty dated, with an 80's feel. Cost for our total meal with dinner and drinks (2 each) is pretty high by my standard, around $100 or more. But, what you get food and drink-wise are both very good. All told, it's a cute little foodie place that could be a lot cuter with freshening up the decor, even just an updated paint job and maybe reconfiguring the seating.

Love a good tapas experience! I highly recommend coming here with a group so that you can taste a little of everything. Our group of five ordered a few tapas from each section of the menu and we came out with full bellies and a reasonable bill. First off let's talk about the names they have for each section of the menu.the foreplay, finger lickers, Lil' Man in a Boat (not quite sure what inspired this), feather & flesh, happy endings.
Someone had a lot of fun with the menu. Cazbah has a real cozy and romantic ambiance. The restaurant itself is not very big but has two stories. The first floor has just a few large tables for big groups and several smaller booth seats that are perfect for a romantic dinner for two. Foreplay - Baked Brie - Definitely get this! Brie baked in a puff pastry and drizzles with a raspberry sauce.
This is the perfect appetizer and great for large groups. Lil' Man in a Boat - Escargot extraordinaire - WOW! Probably the best escargot I've ever had. The sauce was amazing and we shamelessly drank every last drop of it. - Naked Pasta's Lobster and Goat Cheese Ravioli - This was good but would not get this again. Came with 3-4 small raviolis and I buy Naked Pasta's pastas/raviolis at the farmer's market so for me this was not worth the $11 price tag. Feather & Flesh - Angus beef ribeye - Delicious!
Although is it bad that I liked the mashed potatoes more? I'm more of a filet mignon kind of girl. - Chipotle duck - I think I liked this but the portion was so small that I probably only had one bite of this. - Beef Wellington - Definitely get this! Puff pastries stuffed with caramelized onion, mushrooms and beef tips. So savory, so delicious, so creamy!

This cozy nook off the bustling downtown streets featured my favorite meal from my visit to Greenville, and I would go back in a heartbeat with my next time through the city. The menu is fun, with a good selection of savory small plates to enjoy while grabbing a drink from the small bar area (that you can indeed order food at!) I had the Lobster Cigars and Shrimp and the Secret Grit.
Okay let me stop right here and tell you.if you are a fan of unbelievably delicious shrimp and grits dishes, order this. There isn't a big Cajun-y vibe to this dish, which doesn't have like peppers and tomato sauce and the like, and is all about the cheesy grits and perfect shrimp. If that sounds good to you, go for this. The Lobster Cigars were also tasty, and served with a refreshing noodle side.
