Saz's Catering

We used Saz's Catering for our son's second birthday party! I worked with Charlie to plan an easy, crowd-pleasing menu of backyard BBQ staples including pulled pork and chicken sandwiches, potato salad and mac and cheese. Ordering was a breeze, as was pick up. Hot items were hot, cold items were cold and everything tasted amazing. I will definitely go with Saz's Catering for future events both big and small. Great job Charlie and the rest of the Saz's team!

Excellent everything. Nothing but positive words. Our server to start, was amazing. Love her. Our food was spectacular. Never had chicken and waffles before and I'm glad this was the first place I tried it at! Nashville hot chicken over magic waffles.thats what I'm calling them because they're magical. I'd eat here daily if I could. Amazing place. Check it out.

Saturday night, yet the host stand was left unattended for a very long time and we had to stand there waiting for several minutes without being greeted. Were then seated at a dark table away from the crowd (boring). Watery diet cokes were served, followed by totally over cooked chicken (batter was burned to rock hard ) and was definitely a danger for tooth breakage.

Staff and manager both argued when I brought this to their attention. Replacement chicken was also burned. Ribs tasted old and reheated. Side of Mac n cheese was cold. No plans to go back.

We had Saz's for our wedding dinner back in November 2021. The food was so delicious and our guests could not stop talking about the mac n cheese! Katie was so responsive and made sure that everything was to our liking. Our head chef even confirmed details with me the day of to make sure that everything was picture perfect. You also need to book the festival famous late night snack! So delicious!

My husband & I hired Saz's to cater our wedding back in October of 2021. We requested to have fish fry for dinner & Saz's absolutely knocked it out of the park. Michelle was extremely responsive & accommodating of our requests. No exaggeration, the fish fry was the BEST fish I have EVER HAD. Our guests were absolutely thrilled with the food & I was told by many of our guests that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The staff that attended the wedding were fantastic. Very professional and friendly. I cannot recommend Saz's enough!

Ordered online curbside pickup at 5:45pm New Year's Eve. Arrived on time and notified restaurant. At 6pm still no food. Called again. At 6:15 food was brought out and put in car. Ribs, coleslaw and beans were very good. Fried chicken was dry and was close to being burned. Mac and cheese and sampler plate were okay. We have dined in the restaurant and ordered curbside previously and this is one of the few times we were very disappointed. I might add, we tipped 25% as we know the struggles the food industry has suffered. Done before we experienced our order!

10/10 would recommend! Michelle was by far the best vendor to work with. She was reliable, gave us additional information in general for the wedding, and was always on top of her game. When we did our food tasting their power went out and their generator turned right on and their team didn't even miss a step. Their crew on the day were great, checked in on the bride and groom throughout the night, did an outstanding job! Could not have higher remarks for them. Thank you!

We worked with Saz's for our wedding and the experience from start to finish was fantastic! They had terrific service and support, delicious food and made the entire planning process a breeze. We planned the wedding from out of town and Saz's was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you for helping make the day so memorable!

Saz's did an amazing job catering our wedding! The staff was professional and timely, and our guests are still raving about the food. Saz's also managed the venue, and working with Katie was awesome. The information I needed was always readily available and very clear, which was essential to planning a wedding from out of state (and during a pandemic!) Our day went off without a hitch, and a big part of the success can definitely be attributed to the organization and professionalism of the staff we were working with. I cannot recommend them enough!

We were out running errands and we felt it was too late to cook so since we were in the area we stopped at Sazs State House. I had their ribs during a catering event and I didn't care for them. I have had other food items such as the chive fries and mozzarella sticks, which are quite good. Today's meal was pretty good, I had the Wagyu Stephanie burger with chive fries with cole slaw and a Arnold Palmer.

My only complaint is the coleslaw needs a better dressing, it's current version is blah. My wife had the honey wings with a chicken dumpling soup that at first glance looked a bit thick, but my wife said it was good. Overall, our meals were good, our server was attentive and nice. Since it was Halloween, our server had a costume on, it was cute also. I likely will try this place again on a Friday to try their fish fry.

Saz's catered our wedding and it was excellent. They were very accommodating in some custom food requests for cocktail hour to fit our wedding theme. The food was excellent and working with Katie at Saz's was very easy. Only wish we had asked for them to make a plate of each of the appetizers for us to try as bride and groom day of as we didn't get to try some of them with all of the goings on. I don't plan on getting married again, but highly recommend Saz's!

We hired Saz's for our wedding of 150 people. Michelle was our point of contact and she was phenomenal in communication. Everything we asked for and about was responded to and acted on. We are so happy we chose Saz's for our special day. The food was EXACTLY what we expected and the food service and bar service were top notch. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and everything was on time. Cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you to Michelle and the whole staff for making our day go so smoothly!

Tosa had a weird power outage yesterday. Saz's for the win! Get there as fast as you can for the Mexican Street Corn salad! It was absolutely amazing. Seasonal salad, don't wait. Service was spot on. Food great! Thanks Saz's!

Such delicious food for our wedding! Katie at Saz's was the best to work with throughout our wedding postponement and execution of the big day after a long time coming! She was very responsive. We loved having family style food at our wedding reception. All food was delicious especially the pepper jack mac and cheese! Highly recommend!

Stopped in for the Do Good with Food fundraiser night with Children's. I went with the ribs, baked beans and macaroni & cheese. My sister got the the macaroni & cheese with bbq pulled pork. My meal was good but the showstopper was hers! The pulled pork Mac & cheese was soooo flavorful and delicious. The leftovers reheated well the next day. My ribs were tender and fell of the bone.

My only complaint was that the ribs weren't served with a moist towelette. No idea who can eat ribs and keep their hands clean. A regular napkin was not sufficient. At my request, the server did bring me one. Looking forward to my next meal from here!

We ordered a pick-up order and had a family "food day". Every item we got tasted outstanding and there were huge portions! And I was also impressed that two hours after pickup, the food was still piping hot! Thanks Saz's and Charlie for taking care of the details!

Had a really great fish fry - breaded cod and potato pancakes - last Saturday. It's been exasperating lately finding a good FF. I've had greasy, tough, perfectly square (no really, when it was placed in front of me I nearly fell off my chair) and dry. This fish was flaky, cooked perfectly, with great taste. I don't usually order potato pancakes but I did and these were good.

The server was excellent, he noticed my slightest glance. Once I happened to look over at him and he was at the tableside asking if I needed anything. Pretty amazing! My only critique would be about offering options other than chive fries, potato pancakes or chips. How about good old potatoes that taste like potatoes? Baked, fried, whatever. Keep the chive fries in the bullpen for those that like seasoned fries.

This spot is offering meal kits and delivery, which was a pretty cool COVID-friendly opt. I chose to dine-in, and got the chicken Cobb salad that I shared as an appetizer & the pulled pork sandwich with mac & cheese. The chicken was bomb and in hindsight I wish I would've gotten the fried chicken sandwich instead. The mac & cheese was nice and creamy with extra cheese & panko crumbs on top! (Not pictured, my bf got the pulled chicken with fries which were also pretty good. Saz's fries remind us of Summerfest, which was nostalgic!) Bavarian Beast: Last Saturday for a friend's bachelor party we had dinner at Saz's State House. I know from past experience that their ribs are delicious, but I wanted to get something memorable for this special occasion. I went with their 1Ib soft pretzel (which is actually made by Milwaukee Pretzel Company) known as the Bavarian Beast. Milwaukee Pretzel Company pretzels are handmade and freshly baked the same way it has been done in Germany for hundreds of years.

It was truly a site to behold. The pretzel itself was warm, soft, chewy, and probably contained a week's worth of sodium/salt. Four different dipping sauces accompany the pretzel. These include nacho cheese, cinnamon icing, nacho cheese, and Bavarian beer mustard. I found the nacho cheese to be fairly similar to the beer cheese, but there was a subtle difference in flavor and color (I slightly preferred the nacho cheese). I'm not a big mustard guy outside of honey mustard, so I thought it was just okay. Whoever thought of adding cinnamon icing is a genius as it made for a perfect way to turn my entree into a dessert as well.

I devoured about 2/3 of the pretzel before cutting myself off (trust me when I say I could have easily finished it though), not bad considering it was designed to share between 3-6 people. Doughboy approved *Only complaint is the server brought a box that was way too small for the remainder of the pretzel without me having to hack it to pieces like an axe murderer first and she also did not provide any containers for my extra sauce (I anticipated this so I brought my own). Holy cow. The service and food is OUTSTANDING. II ordered their special. 2 rack of full ribs, 4 sides and appetizer for $45! All March long. What are you waiting for? Go. Go. Go! They follow CDC guidelines so it's a very safe environment with a very cool laidback feel. I love fries, and these were really good. Not your average fries. I can't explain it. It's simple the fries weren't dry. Crispy and a little fluffy. And the Mac and cheese? You HAVE to order them. So cheesy and full of flavor! Their bloody is darn good too!

We went to the Saz's pop up truck outside of Mayfair Mall on September 25th to surprise our daughter & a treat for us since we were not able to go to State Fair due to Covid. The workers were friendly, service was fast, the food was hot & fresh. We loved all the food & can't wait to actually go to the restaurant one day. We live almost 30minutes away so it was nice to go 15 minutes down the street for 1 of our favorite spots @ The fair.

I've gotten a tad behind in my reviews, this is based on a to go lunch order from back in August for my employees, all essential workers in the downtown area. The online ordering was pretty simple, and the food was ready when I arrived. I just had to call and they came out with my order. Everyone enjoyed their food overall, too.

Really good food, beer, and a tasty Hot Irish coffee! Service was great and we will be back! Relaxed and charming atmosphere. Great to give back to the Miller community, thanks!

We only came in for beers and what we were told were the best cheese curds in Milwaukee. We are no experts, but these were certainly up there in the list. We had a good time and the place was packed with sport fans watching every screen. Great for tourists visiting the Miller Brewery, as it's only a block away from it.

This place was neat. My wife and I went here to watch a football game on a Sunday, not a Packers game, and it was a little quiet which I guess I expected? Either way the place is super neat and rustic looking inside. The staff was very friendly and attentive the whole time. We got a variety of drinks and beer. I got a mixed coffee drink at one point and it was soooo good.

I got a burger and my wife got a wrap and both were really delicious. We also got a crab dip that came with some crackers and it was good too. The place is clean which is always important to me. Nice place either for a few drinks with friends, a date, or even family lunch or dinner. There were a lot of families that came in and seemed to enjoy themselves.

Holy Cow, dontcha know, dis place is classic. Getting ready to board the motor coach carrying the party to Lambeau Field for today's game. Sweet hostess welcomed us inside, lead us to a comfy seat and set us up with a round to open our eyes and greet the day. They provided Good looking Handmade homemade sandwiches for the trip up to Packerland. Jason was kind enough to lend my buddy his own jacket to stay warm during the fresh Sconnie weather, what a good guy. Bartender Nick warmly introduced himself and explained the day's events.

Nice tall Bloody Mary is refreshing and a piping hot Coffee Royale warms the heart. After today's game we're having the Ribs to refuel our tanks. So exciting to commune with fans around the only full circle bar in this part of the country. I did this trip last year and I've been waiting all season to repeat the fun. I'm planning on a three-peat. Go-Pac-Go

Sad. No more brunch buffet. Loved when they switched to some things on buffet, some to the table to save waste but no buffet at all is a shame. The new menu is ok but flatiron Benedict for $15 with just a few small slices of meat was not worth it. $8 for a huge cinnamon roll was ok but most places you'd get maybe a small roll complimentary. $23 for brunch is too much when you only get one thing, not lots of tastes of things.

Probably won't be back now. Oh, and don't give people straws in their drinks without asking; it's wasteful, bad for the environment, and unnecessary. And the guy ran away like he'd been stung when I politely mentioned it. #SkipTheStraw
