Bestttt clean fresh. Kinda expensive but absolutely worth it.

Simply my favorite sandwich shop of all time. I went there throughout my 4 years of college and have been thinking about this place ever since I graduated 3 years ago. It's in my dreams and day dreams, I miss it so much. Mike is the best owner possible and I love him to death. I need to go back if I ever visit New York again.

I've been a customer since they opened, the food is always good and fresh and you get a lot for your money. Sometimes the place is packed because it's small inside, but definitely worth the wait. Big variety of hot & cold food along with sandwiches, drinks and snacks.

Directly across the street from Iona College, The Ave is a college classic! There's a huge list of deli sandwiches, but they'll also make 'em custom. The Megahouse is a former custom order from some Iona students that was such a hit it became a named special: chicken cutlet, mac n cheese and hot sauce. Get it on a hero and come hungry.

Or hangry. Or hungover. (Especially hungover.) The egg & cheese on a roll is perfect, unless you like your scrambled eggs cooked dry/hard like my friend. Veggie options are limited but not underwhelming - I got the eggplant cutlet on a multigrain roll and it was excellent.

I am very disappointed with the food and lack of service. No one should pay good money and receive burnt food. During this pandemic we support our local businesses but it seems Avenue Deli staff could care less. Horrible food, , horrible experience and the staff should be FIRED!

The place is nice and the staff is friendly but the food is disappointing - our Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwich were sad, dry and uninspiring.

Best deli in New Rochelle, ton of specialty sandwiches but can't go wrong with the Hercules or Megahouse. Mike & his staff are amazing!

First time ordering delivery and won't be the last. Everything was still warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious! We got a meatball parm sub, The Patriot, and fries. We had a slight modification to the Patriot and they followed instructions. Excellent experience!

Food is absolutely incredible however! DO NOT USE UBER EATS TO ORDER FROM HERE! Twice in a week because they're so damn tasty I've ordered BEC with 2 eggs, specified in notes and have only received on egg both times. Otherwise i can't say how incredible all the food is! Mike and staff are awesome, something is just not clicking w the Uber eats and Avenue when it comes to ordering-

This is a good place for students and anyone looking to save some money. Great costumer service and all the employees are great!

Love this deli. When I went to Iona my roomates and I would go here all the time for breakfast sandwiches, and wraps for lunch! The best in the neighborhood! I love their fried eggplant wrap and their egg salad. Definitely miss living in New Ro and being able to get this a few times a week. Definitely worth checking out!

Order was missing items so make sure to double check. Sandwich ordered that comes with bacon had no bacon on it. Sandwiches/wedges are small.

I've only been a few times, but every time is great. I've had the Italian, chicken cutlet with LTM and today was the roast beef melt. Exactly what I wanted! Right amount of meat and melted cheddar on garlic bread. Great neighborhood deli! #supportlocalbusiness

Se just got our food delivered. And we're pretty happy with it! It came super hot, and took less then 40 minutes. It's tasty, and the price was good too! Definitely ordering again!

I used to love deli sandwiches but since going gluten free, it's been hard finding a deli that accommodates it. Luckily, this gem offers gluten free wraps and bread and the sandwiches are very filling. The deli is on the smaller side and can be pretty busy during the week with college student and high school students from the surrounding area but the staff works quickly so it's worth the wait. There are many sandwich options so you won't be disappointed.

We love going here for sandwiches. The owner is very personable and staff is attentive. Food fresh. It is around a busy college campus so be aware with busy times.

Place is newly renovated. Much much needed. They have a very strong on the neighborhood being the best deli option for many Iona students. It is right across the campus. The food is good. The service is good. The owner can be lovely if he likes or knows you. If he doesn't, treat it like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Order, don't ask questions, pay, and go. I ordered a chicken cutlet on a roll and it was decent. I wouldn't come back if I'm in the area. There are some other betters right in the vicinity.

Fantastic! Little deli, big deal! Ate here with family (wife and 3 kids) passing through and ordered, breakfast (bacon, egg, cheese and hash brown sandwich), lunch (chicken parm sub) and dinner (mac and cheese and chicken finger & fries plate). Everything was delicious! The owner (I think?!) was extremely accommodating and friendly. Next time were in New Rochelle area I will make a point to stop back.

Pros:Great Sandwiches, good service Cons: The manager will try to grub every dollar he can They use a microwave (warming up chicken and meatballs) Overall, the place is good, while most of the time you get what you pay for, try to get rung up by the people who took your order otherwise there will be a personal tax from the manager.
