Best Green Chili Beef Burrito I've ever had! As an HVAC and Refrigeration service mechanic I work in a ton of different restaurants. Most of them I find to be disgusting places that I would never. However, I just worked here at Sylvia's to fix a cooler and everything was so clean. When she offered me something to eat I couldn't turn it down. This was the best green chili beef burrito I've ever had. The green hot sauce is. So full of flavor. Clean place and delicious food if your looking for takeout. It will hit the spot.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Was looking forward to try this place but now I wish I never spent money here. My boyfriend and I ordered food to pick up and once we got back home we noticed there was meat in my burrito. I'm vegetarian and very pregnant just wanting to eat and was super bummed. My boyfriend called and told them the burrito was made wrong and the lady on the phone quickly defended herself and got really defensive.

When asked to remake it she said they just turned off their stovetops and are trying to leave. Mind you they close at 8 and it was 7:35, and I totally understand wanting to leave early but when their is a problem you should try and fix it right? Well I guess not, she told us to come back in tomorrow. like girl that's not solving the issue. I was very frustrated and decided to call to see if I could get my money back explaining the issue that I don't eat meat for health reasons she said I couldn't and told me to come back tomorrow.

When I explained that I was pregnant and hungry she was like well maybe if you can get here in 15 mins but we are 20 mins away. At that point I was just frustrated with the whole situation. I'm an understanding person I try not to get mad with people in food service. But the customer service was MAJORLY slacking.

Went today for the 1st time. Awesome Mexican food breakfast platters. Food was amazing and the staff was really friendly. My new spot!

My wife and I have loved Sylvia's for 15 years we are so glad there is still one left. The food was so amazing and the staff was awesome.

While it was a short stay, my experience at Sylvia's was divine. BEST HORCHATA ICED COFFEE IN AZ, by far! The staff was hospitable, caring & a delight to talk to. You definitely have to make the time to stop by and support this local small business gem in the North Valley.

I come all the way from Arizona city with my friends they have some menudo and tacos very disappointed didn't have any Menudo but I had play huevos Ranchero and they were good

Meh, nothing special about it. Food looked like it had been out too long. Chicken was dry. Guacamole was old as was the lettuce. Won't be returning. I'd rather go to Haberno's down the road.

Really nice staff and great food. They are in a pretty tough area(industrial) so if your in the area please stop by. Worth your time.

What happened today!.No tortas for the torta sandwhiches, two tamales left, no more shrimp. A customer ordered three tacos and got one. The combo tamale order came out with only tamales no beans or rice. the chef was not reading the ticket and girls just kept reminding the guy over an over again. It was fun to watch i can tell you that much.

What a great surprise! This is worth stopping in amd trying! From the build your own burritos, to the Nanas combo #3 to the Phx Fiesta Bowl I have NOT been disappointed. So many more goodies on this menu. The foodie in me looks forward to each return visit

This place opened up before the pandemic and somehow has managed to stay open. I work near and went for lunch today(someone bought for me). The 2 tacos beans & rice were ok. What blew my mind was the price! $30.43 for 2 orders with drinks. I have a feeling once we all head back into the office next week, folks will go once but won't return. It was too expensive for what we ordered.

Best Mexican food in Phoenix! The Carne asada breakfast or lunch burrito, red or green chili beef or pork burros, tacos, Mexican pizza, Chipotle beans. I've had half the menu and everything is delicious! Wish they were open this morning, woke up craving a breakfast Carne asada burrito with Chipotle peppers!

4 on line orders on 1 bill. Got 3 out of 4 orders wrong. Went to pick up and they could not find order, finally found it unfilled on the computer. Very poor customer service. Had to wait for the food which should have been ready and then to get inaccurate orders unacceptable. Red chili instead of green on burrito, sausage in breakfast burrito that was supposed to be only egg, potatoes and black beans, sausage inside a breakfast burrito that supposed to be macha, beans and potatoes.

Stopped in for the first time. The salsa had a great sauce it was no salsa from a jar. I had Huevos rancheros and it was so good. Nice flavor the beans tasted great. Next time I'm going to try the Menudo! Stop by if you have some time!

The food was good. Only issue i ordered ahead of time online and when I got there it wasn't ready. They hadn't even noticed the order so I had to wait for it to be made. I saw this on another review as well. Definitely need to work on that part of customer service.

Service is Terrible, make changes or shut down. or remove yourself as Sylvia's name/legacy. Everything is extremely unorganized including the word/image overload on the menus. The set up is so unorthodox. The employees lack confidence and direction!

Service is absolutely terrible. Older gentleman is all over the place and no organization. One customer was ahead of us and I still sat there for 20 minutes. Someone else made my food. Older gentleman was like grab your chips and salsa and I'll bring your food out to you. Then he yells did you pay? WE WERE WAITING FOR YOU. I could go on but don't waste your time here especially on your lunch break like myself.

Silvius is top notch Mexican food! I love going in for the Macaca breakfast plate and also for their Manoe though

This place is horrible! Restaurant is filthy. Cooks do not wear gloves, food left out and reheated day after day. The health department needs to shut this place down! If you feel like having diarrhea and vomiting all week then this is the place for you. Also, the cashiers get defensive if you say anything and practically demand that you tip. The owner should be ashamed!

I grew up eating at the 7th Ave location. I was so excited to hear of them popping up again. This is hands down the best Mexican food in Arizona! Get some of the red salsa. It has a distinct flavor that is absolutely amazing. It's the perfect blend of spices with a great consistency. I also recommend the carne asada burrito. This is carne asada as it should be done.

None of the chewy gray drive through business here. It's chopped, blackened, and seasoned perfectly. Then wrapped in a fresh tortilla and topped with recently made guacamole. I'd say it's food like mom made, but I think this may be a step above. (Mom if you're reading this I'm sorry)

Sylvia made the best beef enchiladas for me. Super delicious and you can tell they put pride in their work and food. Go check them out and support local!

Food is great, folks are nice. Sorry I had a refunded item because I didn't see the side order of refried beans but it was under the tacos. Adding that to tip jar next time I'm back!

So we walked in, placed our order with Sylvia herself, paid, and sat down. They brought out chips and salsa to our table while we waited all of five minutes before they brought out some of the best burritos we've ever had! I ordered the shrimp asada burrito and my husband ordered the carne asada burrito. Absolutely delicious! This is definitely our new favorite weekend go to! Sylvia was so nice and made conversation with us as we were leaving too!

Price wise, this place is awesome! For the quality of the food, I would expect to pay more than we actually did. For two drinks, two burritos, and the included chips brought to our table it was around $28. Not bad at all for a semi sit down restaurant in my opinion. The gentleman that was working with Sylvia also checked on us at least twice to make sure we had everything we needed. We're definitely looking forward to bringing friends and family here and as a bonus, it's about 5 minutes from my office so I'll definitely be stopping by during the week.

This is my first visit to Silvia's, I ordered via Yelp/DoorDash. She hadn't seen the order when I came for pick up but had my order ready in a jiffy. Very kind professional welcoming. I am really picky about Carne Asada because so many places it's gray and Bland, just not great. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it's seasoned well very tender the beans inside very flavorful.

She included a little bag of chips and salsa inside as well. This is close to work so this is definitely my go to for Carne asada. I look forward to trying other items on the menu!

Simple menu, Delicious food. Cafeteria style Mexican restaurant with the home cooked quality taste. With an added bonus of the owner. Miss Sylvia herself assisting with the orders! The red sauce is so good here, and the food seems to expand more and more in your stomach as time goes by. If you like to eat till you're full, and like to feel like you're gonna explode an hour later then this is definitely the spot for you. Ask for the specials!

So far so good for us. We live right around the corner so we stopped in to give it a try and. thumbs up! The red chile beef burrito was spicy, cheesy and packed with meat and the asada tacos had a perfect crunch and hit the spot. Beans and rice were great too. It's only our first time here but, we will update and future visits and try some different menu items.
