The staff at Fitzgerald's Fine Catering has learned over the years that most everyone who plans a party with us has some very specific ideas about what kinds of foods they want served. Whether it is for an elaborate wedding or a simple baby shower, there are foods that simply must be provided. Either because of a certain ethnic background or simply a family tradition, special dishes often need to be prepared for that special day. This is why Fitzgerald's does not lock in its' clientele to a fixed number of menu choices.
The mission of Fitzgerald's Fine Catering is the same now as it was in 1948. To provide families and businesses with high quality food and service coupled with artful presentation at important and special times in life. Either in the life of a corporation or an individual or family, there are occasions where there's only one chance to get things right.

We had Fitzgerald's cater our wedding Feb 2022. Nick was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. From our soup and grilled cheese hors d'oeuvres, Chicken pot pie dinner, and s'mores bar, our guests continue to compliment the quality and flavor of the food. Thank you for helping make our day one to remember!

We hired Fitzgerald's for our holiday party this year and it was AMAZING! Everyone raved about the food and the friendly, professional catering team. Nicholas is an excellent communicator at every step of the process. I was never left wondering what was going on. Highly appreciated considering many catering companies fail at communicating and keeping clients in the loop.
Between the fantastic food, the incredible service, and the all-around awesome experience, there is no doubt we will be using Fitzgerald's for our parties going forward. Highly recommend Fitzgerald's Fine Catering!

I hired Fitzgerald's for my wedding last month and they were amazing! We did surf & turf lobster & steak and have gotten SO many compliments from our guests! All of the sides and appetizers were delicious as well! The staff at Fitzgerald's is also the best. They set up our tables & chairs for the reception and helped with taking down the tables & chairs too (not in the job description, just above & beyond service from them.) Nick, the owner, worked with us throughout the whole process of planning and put our minds at ease.
Our maitre'd on the night of kept an eye out for my husband and I making sure we got some of the appetizers since we missed most of cocktail hour for photos. They kept everything on schedule and made the day one we will never forget! Plus they were so reasonably priced since they own of all their supplies. Highly highly recommend!

Fitzgerald's Fine catering exceeded all of our expectations. I have not stopped hearing all of our guests talk about how good the food at the wedding was, the Mac and Cheese Nuggets were the biggest hit! The staff was so attentive to not only me and the groom but all of our guests. Not only did they keep all of our guests well fed and buzzed but Nick Shope was incredible to work with leading up to the event and was so reassuring and easy to talk to! Highly recommend them for any event!

Fitzgerald's was absolutely amazing! My wife and I were married July 3rd 2019 and Nick the owner helped us through the whole catering process. They offered fantastic recommendations and guided us without being pushy through the menu building and tasting process. They really helped us customize and build the wedding menu of our dreams and they were wildly accommodating in all of our requests and really making it a special day.
On the day of the wedding, Fitzgerald's team showed up and they took care of everything they were able to be flexible and work with all the other vendors, no drama and required no extra work from us. We built our own wedding from scratch and the Fitzgerald's fit right into that and they were really an awesome with letting us customize the different add-on options, open bar and liquor components while still giving us super good value on some packages.
The quality of the food was fantastic and I was super pleasantly surprised because it was something that I was actually worried about, I've always felt most weddings I go to it usually is fairly generic, but Nick and his team were able to really blow away our expectations. Don't be fooled by their tiny little building tucked away in Bridgeport, these guys know what they're doing and they rocked our wedding.

I am truly grateful we came across Fitzgerald's and decided on their catering for our wedding reception! We are still receiving so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. Nick was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and always brought optimism and professionalism to our conversations. The whole staff was incredibly professional on the night of the event as well.
They really seemed to make every correct decision at every step of the way to provide such phenomenal food to our guests without any snags. I really can't recommend them enough.

Fitzgerald's Fine Catering was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding in early May @ The Carousel @ Lighthouse Point in New Haven. Nicholas was great to work with right from the first contact our daughter made. He was the most responsive of all the caterers she emailed. He was willing to talk about menu and work with our budget right from the get-go.
We enjoyed our tasting through to the leftovers. We heard compliments that the food was not just good wedding food but delicious food. Nicholas's staff knew the venue and delivered the food and drinks seamlessly. They also received compliments. There was plenty of food - you never want to run out! In fact there was more than enough. The folks @ Fitzgerald's had the foresight to bring take-out containers so we were able to send guests and park staff home with leftovers which were eagerly accepted. We highly recommend Nicholas and Fitzgerald's for your next catered event.

Working with Nick at Fitzgerald's Fine Catering was absolutely a breeze. My wife and I live in North Carolina so planning a wedding 700 miles away in Wilton, CT was a challenge enough but Nick made the entire catering process absolutely a breeze. From the initial phone calls to the tastings and final prep meetings, Nick was very easy to work with and extremely clear on the expectations.
We were looking for a unique wedding experience and Nick's New England Clambake suggestions was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding was held a private residence so we had to bring in everything from the tent and chairs to the dishes and silverware. Unlike every other caterer that we originally talked to, Fitzgerald's provides you with all of the, linens, china, glassware, bar-ware and brings the entire kitchen with them!
You don't have to worry about renting anything for them which was amazing! As for the food. It was by far the best catered meal we EVER had. Our guests continue to rave about the amazing food (Lobster, Steak, Chx, Clams, etc.) and that it was by far the best food at any wedding they had been to. We can not thank Nick and his team enough for making our wedding so amazing.
The staff was extremely friendly and always looking for anything they could do to help out. Don't even look around for another cater, Call Nick and book Fitzgerald's as soon as you can!

Fitzgerald's Fine Catering catered our wedding at the Waveny House in New Canaan Connecticut for 102 guests on May 23rd 2015. The owner and staff really blew us away. They arrived early, had everything set up in no time at all, and even let me run around placing all my little decorations here and there. The staff was incredibly attentive and really a lot of fun!
They and Nicholas are truly professionals. The food was nothing short of amazing! We really wanted to provide our guests with excellent food, and Fitzgerald's delivered; people were raving and it was honestly the best food I've ever had at a wedding. Nicholas was extremely accommodating when it came to menu changes and additions, and basically allowed us to customize the menu to our liking, even adding a chocolate fountain to the list just a couple weeks before the wedding. Nicholas and his staff made our wedding day stress free and I can never thank them enough for all they did.

Nick and Fitzgerald Catering were exceptional caterers for our wedding. They have a lot of experience so they're able to answer many of your questions and give helpful pointers along the way. My fiancee and I were planning our wedding from very far away and Nick's help was invaluable in planning not only the catering portion of our event but the entire wedding itself.
He clearly knows what goes into making a good wedding and goes the extra mile to ensure that you have a great day. On to the food - it is excellent! We had a wedding of about 100 people and all of our dishes were cooked perfectly and deliciously (according to us and all of our guests!). The meat was tender, the vegetables flavorful and the fish cooked to perfection.
Throw in the excellent deal you get when you work with Fitzgerald's and I really can't imagine being happier with the food quality and price. Furthermore, the staff was excellent, true pros. They were extremely attentive to us and our guests. They were also friendly and engaging, always making sure that people were having a good time. If you're planning a wedding in Connecticut, I really can't recommend Fitzgerald's catering enough. They serve delicious food at a reasonable price, know how to help you plan a fantastic wedding and are all around experts at catering!
