What does that word mean? To many, it means the delivery or drop off of food to an event. Everyone seems to be a caterer these days! In the age of Food Network, Top Chef, and Hell's Kitchen, a lot more folks are interested in the "food industry." After more than 20 years in the special event industry, we decided that it was time that the triad and beyond had a caterer that was there for its clients and their guests from start to finish. Our mission is to be a caterer that is focused on the "total" event, not just the food.
Anna grew up in Greensboro and has been doing catering in the area for nearly 30 years. Ed has been doing special events in the area for more than 20 of his 30+ years in the business. This dynamic duo met by doing events together. They knew that one day the dream of having their own full service catering/event company would come true.
The planning process for your special event is a very important part. Without careful consideration to the "total event, " your event will not be successful. My husband and I were having trouble finding a caterer that met our needs for a "belated" wedding/cocktail reception in December 2021. A friend referred us to Anna at Exclamations after using their services for her own daughter's wedding, and we are so grateful! Anna was more than accommodating to our needs, and she had ideas that put the perfect touches on our evening.
Not only does Exclamations do amazing food and displays, but they also offer beautiful table linens, floral arrangements, and just about anything else you can think of to make your event special and unique. The day of our event, Anna and her staff showed up very early to set up and ensure the space was perfect. Her staff was professional and treated all of our guests well.

Anna catered my mom's 90th birthday. She helped plan the menu and the presentation was beautiful. All 30 of our guests raved about the food and wanted to know all about Anna's catering. The food was absolutely delicious with 3 entrees, 2 sides, salad and bread. Anna and Ed were so gracious with their time, planning, presentation and taste. This was about the best food I have ever had. Anna made this not only a special occasion but a night my mother will treasure forever. So will the rest of us! I'm forever grateful to the care she put into every little detail. This is definitely her calling.

I work for a wedding venue in Winston Salem, and have always loved working with Ed and Anna on a professional level. When my brother got engaged I already knew who to recommend for catering and flowers. Let me TELL you. I already loved them from working with them on other people's weddings.but it was a whole different story when it was personal and my brother's wedding.
They knew how hard it would be for me to get out of "work mode" and enjoy my time with my family, so they went out of their way to decorate tables for me, to put flowers on the cake (I made the cake and was insecure about how it looked so Ed covered it in flowers and made it beautiful). They wanted to be sure I could enjoy seeing my family and my brothers wedding so they went out of their way to help me out, even helping with the ceremony.
I just want everyone to know that I am a person who knows events and knows what goes on behind the scenes, and having them cater and do florals for my own family wedding, I am even more blown away by them now that I've been on the receiving end of their services. 100+ stars.

Ed and Anna did a fantastic job at our wedding. I really could not imagine things going any better than the way that it did. The colors of the flowers looked and matched everything perfectly; from the beautiful flowers on our Boutonniere's, the flowers on our tables, the flowers on our wedding cake and my wife's stunning bouquet. We had a "brunch" style wedding and the food they made was just amazing.
We had the pleasure of enjoying perfectly cooked cheesy eggs, potatoes, donuts, the softest biscuits you'll ever have, mini cupcakes with raspberries, French toast sticks dipped in a shot glass of syrup and my personal favorite, the bacon straws! Exclamations Catering did such a great job making sure everything was done right to make this the most memorable day of our lives!

Ed and Anna did an amazing job at my wedding. They exceeded all of my expectations with the food, flowers, and drinks! We had breakfast food complete with donuts, a mini pancake station, eggs, potato's, bacon, mini biscuits, bacon straw (I highly recommended, they're delicious), little raspberry brie bites, french toast sticks, and mimosas. The bartender and servers were amazing!
The flowers were so beautiful! Ed added these beautiful coffee roses to the bouquet. The flowers on my cake were gorgeous. I cannot praise these guys enough. I definitely recommend them for any wedding! They made my day so special!

Hands down BEST caterers in all 50 States! We used them for my daughters wedding and they by far EXCEEDED all my expectations and so much more! Anna and Ed are a dream to work with! Professional and have high standards that they carry over in their business! Responds very quickly to get back in touch with you! We received nothing but RAVES about everything!' the food was amazing!
