Prior to establishing Kama'aina Catering & Tent Rentals in 1984, head chef & owner Brian Wada traveled the world learning new recipes and giving them a local touch. Specializing in corporate events, baby luaus, graduation parties, weddings, and other catering events, Kama'aina Catering & Tent Rentals goes above and beyond, providing great service and making your special event memorable. As one of the few catering companies who still use a real imu to make our famous kalua pig, we'll do our best to serve you!
Keiki to Kupuna Foundation (KTKF), is dedicated to helping O'ahu's keiki's and elders of being able to eat regular, delicious meals like other families. An elderly woman dreams of being able to eat three meals a day that she once enjoyed without having to choose between buying food and buying medications.
STEP 3 They will contact you to let you know if you qualify for meals and provide more information about other programs and services. Are you 60 or older * home-bound * in need of assistance with activities of daily living * or having an unmet need for assistance; economic or social need. Keiki to Kupuna Foundation provides meals services.
One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people, animals, and organizations in need.

We never got to the point of being able to experience the food with this company due to COVID, so the 1 star is not for the food. Instead, it is for the responsiveness of the staff to our requests. We got a quick response after initial contact, but any time after that we went for weeks on end without responses, even having to leave several voice messages, write several emails, and text staff member's personal phones they assured us would be the best way to contact them with, and still nothing.
We continued to try to secure them as a caterer, but they would not respond to our attempts to pay them their deposit. Thinking we were out of time to switch caterers, we finally got to pay them the deposit. After that we had several change requests that they would not put in writing because we could never get a hold of them. In this case, thankfully COVID prevented us from having to go through with the company for our catering and tent rental services.
If you take a look in their office and kitchen it is highly disorganized and dirty, which should have been our first indication as to the quality and accuracy of the customer service provided.
