McKinney & Doyle Fine Foods

I have ordered and picked up two cakes for parties. One was red velvet and the other was chocolate moose. Both were the the best cakes I have ever tasted and I am over 50. Staff is extremely kind.

When I ask my wife what she wants for her birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day, Christmas, thanksgiving, international donut day, or just-because-it's-Friday. the answer is always a cake from McKinney and Doyle. They really are the best cakes, partially because unlike so many other places they don't overload them with sugar. It's cake the way cake is meant to be.

You finish eating it and you don't feel like you're immediately about to have a diabetic emergency. They're also beautiful and delicious. This is also the one and only place where I can order a black coffee. Everywhere else I need cream and sometimes sugar. But the coffee here is AMAZING. The chips and guacamole are also amazing and delicious, but. a little overpriced in our opinion.

Nice little spot to pick up a pastry and coffee. Update 5-20-22; Just stopped in again for a mocha and a bite to eat. Unfortunately the coffee tasted weak and not enough mocha. It tasted very bland. I did however have a container of the chicken pea salad and it was very good, chicken peas, grape tomatoes, red onion and crumbled cheese.

Great menu, however abit pricey. We all loved our choices, so it was worth the trip from Danbury. Pecan crusted trout was excellent. Great service and their bakery is incredible. Best house dressing I've had anywhere.

Visited McKinney today for Brunch. Place was hopping which was fine. For having a reservation for 12:30 we still waited 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated waited another 20 minutes before we had to flag down a waitress for out drink order. When our waitress finally came around she was not friendly at all and that is putting nicely. At least food was good.

I usually have a very good experience here. Maybe an off day but the waitress needs to find a new line of work. Also, would be nice if they installed a baby changing table in the restroom. No where to change a baby in there.

The service was amazing and the food was spectacular! I can't wait to go back!

This place has got the most fantastic brunch. Little pricey, as well it should be, because it is worth it! Holiday in Barcelona is a perfect brunch drink (fizzy delicious - not to sweet), as is their Beekeeper's Bitter Truth. Pictured is their crab cake brunch special & their lobster hash. Both incredible! 10/10. The staff was exceptional. And I greatly appreciate the classic Americana ambiance with its soft emerald seats, framed watercolors set against the restaurant's brick dining room. You may even fall in love just by walking in like I did. I haven't had the chance to return for dinner yet, but I will!

The food, drinks and the CARROT CAKE are out of this world! The staff is always so friendly and happy! The atmosphere is great.

Each time I walk into McKinney and Doyle's restaurant I immediately get a sense of well-being and hometown warmth. But don't let that fool you. The drinks and the menu are nothing but top notch. Andrew is fantastic. He never mind getting his hands dirty and facilitating a very busy night but manages to give a big smile and greeting and a big goodbye when we leave.

Such a unique menu offers choices for every pallet and each one surpasses the other. My only wish is that I could go there every night! They also have wonderful and creative brunches and lunches during the weekend. Again, just wonderful!

Fantastic! I was there for a price fixed dinner with the Mid Hudson Food & Wine Society. In a historic building, tin ceilings, lots of wood, warm & cozy. Great ambience!
