Rocco and Manny were incredibly helpful from the start of the booking process for my wedding on May 14th all to the way to the day of the event this past Saturday. My husband and I decided to do the divine wedding package which had everything we could have ever needed/wanted and was such a life saver in terms of stress! It was a base price of $12,500 which included a grand buffet (I believe 10 different appetizers for the cocktail hour, a choice of 3 main dishes and side dishes, plus salads and rolls - it also included a chocolate fountain but we replaced it with a French fry bar for an extra fee), a photographer (Picture This Photography which I cannot praise enough - you just have to contact them to confirm), a recommended list of DJs they work with for the wedding package (we chose James Daniel Entertainment and worked with DJ Big Daddy who we LOVED we paid extra for the uplighting and the photo booth which was a HUGE hit and they gave us our own separate wedding album/memory book of every photo taken), a complimentary room for the night of our wedding at any one of three nearby hotels (we went with the holiday inn express which I highly recommend - I left reviews everywhere for further details lol) plus the cake (Angela Mia's bakery and let me tell you.the cake was also a huge hit, my husband hates sweets and he legit loved this cake so much lol) - this package is for a minimum of 100 people which was perfect even though some people bailed last minute which is to be expected at weddings. Now, we had our rehearsal dinner here and practiced the walkthrough with Manny - who was also our maitre de for the wedding which went perfectly.
We brought over everything that needed to be set up the next day in terms of gift boxes, table setups, etc for the staff to set up the next day. We also brought over my wedding dress(es) and my mom's dresses for the next day so it would be easier to move from our hotel to the venue. After I had mom explain where everything would be going and we did the walk through, we went right next door to their restaurant where they had three tables set up for us and designated an incredibly kind waitress to our table that helped serve pizzas and sodas.
The food was as usual to DIE for! The next day was the day of our wedding and let's just say I was more than blown away. I walked into the venue at 2pm (our ceremony was at 4:30) and almost everything had been done and it looked damn good! My table chart was on the table perfectly setup as well as our welcome sign and canvas guest book. The tables had all of our giftboxes on the tables and our head table was decorated beautifully!
My florist (Mahopac Flowers) had already stopped by to line the walkway with flowers like I requested and topped of the wedding cake (that had been delivered) with flower petals and the tables were adorned with the most gorgeous center pieces I've ever seen. Our DJ was already setting up the photo booth and the uplighting around the venue plus speakers for our wedding outside by the gazebo.
I literally had nothing to do but take photos with our amazing photographers and then get married! There was another woman whose name I unfortunately forget but I believe she was Manny's wife and she was so kind and helpful making sure my husband and I had EVERYTHING we needed! She filled our bridal room with food from the cocktail hour (we were taking pictures for almost of the hour lol) and gave directions for our official entrance and took my bouquet right on time for me to dance with my husband and dad.
She continued to check on us and my mom for the rest of the night with Manny and the rest of the incredible waitstaff. The food was literally to die for, everything was delicious and that was all we kept hearing from our guests as well - the drinks were also on point! The waitstaff again were so friendly, kind, and super fun dancing along to the music as they did their jobs! This wedding was literally everything I've ever dreamed of any more, I cannot rave about this venue enough and the incredible staff within it!

Great place. My sister and brother-in-law are members of the Italian American/ Anthony's lake club and had my niece's birthday party downstairs in the private members only lounge area. It was the perfect venue for a family kids birthday party kids could play indoors and since it was raining outside and the pizza provided also by the club. What a beautiful venue also for a wedding. I would love to get married there with my fiance.

We used Anthony's to cater a graduation party without ever having eaten there. Risky, yes, but we were not disappointed! I am a bit of an eggplant parm snob and Rocco's eggplant was phenomenal. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we had more than enough food for our guests. Delivery was prompt and courteous. Rocco was VERY helpful with helping us determine what we needed. Highly recommend! We will be using them again.

Anthony's Lake Club was so beautiful on our wedding day. Our day was truly perfect thanks to Manny and Rocco! From the first time we met them they made us feel like family. They were so sweet and made us feel so comfortable. The wedding on the deck with the lake in background was breathtaking! The food was absolutely amazing! Our guest have still not stopped talking about it. Our day was honestly perfect and we owe it to them. Thanks again for everything!

We booked Anthony's Lake Club for our wedding on May 4th, 2018. Our experience was nothing short of remarkable. Manny and his staff put on an absolutely seamless wedding, and were professional the whole way through. I could not have asked for a better Maitre'd than Manny himself, he truly made it an easy experience and knew exactly how to answer every question we had.
He was also very quick to answer any questions, including ones we sent late at night with our pre-wedding worries, and was always cheerful and positive in tone. The venue was remarkable, and many of our guest were stunned that we had such a beautiful venue for our wedding. They took care of all of the detailwork for setup and teardown, which made adding our special touches to make our wedding perfect a breeze.
The food was so amazing it deserves it's own paragraph. My wifes personal favorite was the mac and cheese bites, which she hilariously forced our photographer to eat. But from the salads, to the pastas, to every single entree there was not a single person who didnt love the food. We were told NUMEROUS times from every guest (including a couple who had been married for 35 years) that it was the best food they have EVER had at a wedding, and im inclined to believe them.
Overall if you are looking for a wedding venue ANYWHERE in New England you are going to be hard-pressed to find a better venue than Anthony's Lake Club. Our guests raved that it was the best wedding they've been to, and I know Manny and his staff were a big part of that. They were hands down the best, and I know they would make your day as special and easy as they did ours.

A bunch of us enjoyed Family Night at Anthony's Lake Club in Danbury last night. It was awesome! Good ole family style dinner, with about 150 others. Really nice time. No TV, no distractions.just speaking with great friends like Margo, Patty, Gretchen and so many more. Rocky & Manny prepared a great feast - Ziti with the best HOME MADE gravy(sauce), chicken that fell of the bone, seasoned just right and sausage & peppers to die for.
The last Thursday night of each month. Want to get back to basics with friends and family - bring them to Family Night at Anthony's Lake Club! Good ole dinner, conversation, very affordable! Well done Rocco and Manny!

I just read all the other reviews, and I have to say that I am shocked.and I'm convinced these reviews were either written by people related to the staff who are trying to ensure their future employment, or those professionally hired to do PR for the establishment. We just went to Anthony's Lake Club last night for my mother's retirement party.and it was stunningly bad.
The salad came out of a bag, and I'm pretty sure the dressing came out of the same giant bottles they used in my high school cafeteria ten years ago. The dinner rolls were stale - I had to soak it in the tasteless pasta sauce to make it edible. The food was mediocre - and that's being generous - and for $40 dollars a head, one could have gone to a really nice place in the area with a better room and appetizing food, like La Fortuna or della Francesca.
What was killer was that the staff was CLEARLY rushing us out the door, even though there wasn't another party afterward. Before anyone had finished eating, they were already plopping cake down on the tables, even though I hadn't even eaten my salad. As my mother - who was retiring after 35 years! - was thanking her friends, they were whisking the table cloths off the tables.
When we were walking out into the parking lot, the staff were peeling out before we even got in our cars. So to recap: Overpriced. Terrible food. Depressing room. Unprofessional staff. I know it's located on a lake, but location really isn't everything.

Rocco, Rocco, Rocco. Once again you have outdone yourself! Thank you so much for making our Holiday Party the most talked about party of the year! Between the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the decor, the lights, and your awesome awesome staff - I just don't know how we could ever go anywhere else! With that said, please put us in the book for Saturday, December 15th, 2012!
