I got married at the Meadowbrook almost 3 weeks ago. And while my ceremony and reception was beautiful, the staff has lost hundreds of dollars in food and some of my gifts from my attendees. When we got home the day after the wedding and realized what was missing I immediately emailed the coordinator, Nikki, about our missing possessions. When I received no response I called the Meadowbrook and when no one answered there, I reached out to the coordinators personal phone number where I was again ignored.

When the two week mark of getting no where came up I took the hour ride to new Windsor to speak with Nikki in person. She basically told me oh well there's nothing we can do. They loaded our personal belongings into two cars and cannot tell me who the second car was and why the missing things went into that car when everything else went to my parents car.

Now approaching three weeks post event I have emailed the coordinator yet again to get no response. Because of the lack of response my husband and I are forced to believe that someone at the Meadowbrook has stole our belongings and that they are being covered for. If you choose to have an event at the Meadowbrook make sure a guest you trust is watching the crew clean up your belongings because they just might end up being stolen.

The place smelt of mold and mildew. there were black things floating in my water. the only good thing was the waitstaff was very kind and polite.

I had my wedding n reception here the staff was nothing but amazing and the director Nikki was a blessing she helped with every little thing she was always available and always got back to me quick. I definitely will recommend the meadowbrook for any event.

I mean if cheap and old is what you want then book whatever you want here. smells like mold and the whole venue shows no one cares about the property

We were at a murder mystery show the other night and it was fantastic! Wonderful facility and the waitstaff Was charming and helpful at all times.

Nice people but. the bridge over the pond had a old detached gate laying there, a old iron rake against a tree and a 20 ft length of grey plastic pipe.and this is a prime photo spot! Good Lord! The ladies changing area has over powering musty smell. The lamp posts at pond @2? Peeling. The brick borders are askew. and a young waiter who grabbed stuff before we were done.

The food was good enough. But the structure was poor.and servers were unprofessionally dressed.and right while taking pictures out doors.a old smoky Pontiac did a in and out tour.no control; over the site. The place is plain run down and dirty.

I love the Meadowbrook Lodge! I've worked there and been to events there! It is amazing! The staff is great! Everyone works hard and the people hosting the events have a great time! Love The Meadowbrook!

I would rate this place with no stars. I have never seen a facility this bad. I attended an evening holiday party here on Saturday. There were no lights on the signage so it was easy to pass by the place. The roadway going in was poorly lit. When inside, you had to hang up your own coat. The staff were walking around with hors d'oeuvres but when I went to pick up one, there were no napkins or small plate to put them on.

Plus the appetizers were very cold and tasted old. The buffet was not good at all. But the worst thing was the ladies room. It had a dirty carpet on the floor. The smell in there was beyond horrible. The entire place was dirty, filthy and just out and out nasty. I have never had this type of experience in a catering hall and I would strongly suggest staying away from this place.

I attended a surprise birthday party here this past saturday. The venue is very nice and it is nice in size. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. However, the food was not good at all. We were given fruit cups which were good, a house salad which was good as well and we were given choices of prime rib or stuffed chicken for dinner. I got the stuffed chicken and it came with roasted potatoes and veggies.

The portion was huge but the chicken was DISGUSTING. No flavor at all, undercooked and it was cold. My husband got the prime rib and he said while it was cooked properly it lacked flavor. People at my table barely ate and from what I saw not many people finished their food. I would not recommened this place. Its sad because it is a very nice venue.
