Catering By Design

There are simply no words to express how amazing CBD was for an event I had this past weekend. From start to finish, every single detail was accounted for and any suggestion or idea was never more then an email away from getting done. The customer service was outstanding. I worked more specifically with Alycen Doi and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.

So very helpful in everything and made everything from florals to linens to referrals to beverage vendors seamless! Along with Rick on the day of and many other staff members, my event was absolutely perfect and three days later, everyone is still talking about the food! Every attention to detail was met and I couldn't have been more pleased. You will not go wrong if you choose CBD! If I ever have the need for another event, CBD is where I will go first!

We used CBD to cater our wedding and they were PHENOMENAL! They truly went above and beyond in every aspect. We weren't sure what we wanted food wise and the menu created by CBD was fantastic, and were able to incorporate vegan options. The food was creative and delicious. Our final guest count was 120, and we had appetizers, dinner, late night snack, and dessert.

They also did a fantastic job with the decor. I had a few items that I owned that I wanted to incorporate into the table design, and their team was able to make it happen, and made sure all of my items were returned. We opted for a surprise for the design of the sweetheart table, and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Staffing was excellent during the event.

I've continued to receive compliments from even our most picky guests about the excellent service. Communication leading up to the wedding was great, even though they had some staff changes due to covid. Nothing was missed and the conversations were fluid. I would absolutely recommend Catering by Design and hope to work with them again in the future!

I almost have no words for how truly incredible CBD was for our wedding. They were professional, so sweet, creative and the food was to die for! One of the main compliments we've received was how outstanding the food and service was. I mean look at this charcuterie board!

The food and service of CbD was AMAZING! You truly never know what you are going to get when it comes to catering food for a large event, but I can say with zero hesitation that their food is delicious! Every single person at my wedding commented on the how delicious all the food was. No one left hungry, that's for sure! Plus, they were great in helping to design and plan for our eclectic food choices. Highly recommend CbD!

Catering by Design is a phenomenal catering company. As a wedding planner, I have worked with countless catering companies and CBD is truly one of the best I've ever worked with. Their customer service is top notch and the food is always incredible. They are always consistent and reliable which is so important when planning the most important events in your life.

Horrible communication and follow through. Definitely worth a read if you are looking for professional services that value you as a customer. I reached out to Catering by Design at the end of November inquiring about catering services for my wedding. I got a response the next day and as mentioned in many of these reviews, was impressed at all the services that were offered.

I followed up the next day asking if I could be connected to someone to learn more and discuss my options. I had no response for over 2 weeks but it being December, I understood that catering companies can get extremely busy. I sent a follow up email explaining that I would be happy to meet in the new year but would love to get someone on the books.

The holidays came and went and still NO RESPONSE. Not even a message that they were busy and would get back to me soon. I sent a final email at the end of the first week of January (over a month since I had initially reached out) stating I still wanted to get connected to someone. It still took an additional week to hear from someone that they would get me set up and then 3 more days to hear from an event designer.

Despite this lack of communication, I still decided to go through with the initial consultation phone call. Once again, all the amazing services that Catering by Design offers came through and I wanted to give them another chance. I spoke to the event designer on a Monday and she promised a proposal NO LATER than the following Monday (even mentioning it could be sooner).

The following Monday came and went and I still had no proposal AND no communication that it would be delayed. I finally sent an additional email on Thursday (3 days after the promised proposal date) and still have heard nothing. There are many other excellent catering companies in Denver and I would advise you look elsewhere.

Thank you to all who rocked our special day. The food was SUCH a hit! Alison and Ching were so so helpful and if we didn't like something they worked around it. no problem. My husband and I are total foodies so we no doubt were particular about how things were prepared, etc but they knocked it out of the park. And with a smile on their face to boot! Guests have repeatedly mentioned how delicious the food was. One of the highlights for sure!

Spot on catering! So worth it, they did more than I expected including including decor! Amanda was absolutely wonderful and we had A-blast at our tasting! Details were corrected up until the last day or two and I was able to make changes without any hassle. All of the hired staff during our wedding and reception were kind and professional! It was like having Additional friends at our wedding : My family members wanted me to make a point to mention the quality of the staff, they went above and beyond our expectations!

This food was top notch amazing, decor was perfect, everything was set up just as it needed to be! The staff took extra time to take care of the bride and groom. They really knew what they were doing.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our catering experience with CBD for our wedding. From our trial tasting to our 30-day walk-through, to the final result, the planning and execution was wonderful.

I used Catering by Design for my wedding. They did and excellent job. The service was excellent. Food came out hot, plates were cleared in timely manner, glasses were always full.
