American BBQ is the Best place to go for catering! We had our Thanksgiving dinner catered by them. Everyone was impressed And so happy with their exceptionally delishish food! Great prices as well! I highly recommend them for any occasion! 5 Stars!

On 7/10/21, I had a surprise retirement party for my wife. Serving time was suppose to be from 4PM until 7PM. The staff was suppose to arrive about an hour and a half before to set up. Well I went to clean up at about 2:50PM and there was no staff. My wife arrived around 4:10PM and about a half hour later after greeting everyone the food wasn't ready yet.

The staff closed shop at 7PM. My guests really enjoyed the food. But I had to mention several times about refilling the containers. I called Steve and explained the situation and he said they would get back to me. I guess they don't care they received their money and tips and this is 7/28/21. Note they also charge an extra fee for fuel $103.15, $425 service charge and half price $17.99 for children 5-11.

They also were suppose to do gluten free, which didn't happen. Specifically for the Celiac the guests. Just to show you this is 8/20 and still no response. I definitely wouldn't recommend them after all this.

American BBQ was the perfect company to use for my daughter's graduation party. The BBQ chef we had was one of the best we have had from American BBQ. My guests were raving about how good the food and service was. I highly recommend American BBQ for your party needs. They are full service and such a nice and pleasant group of professionals to work with and they left the place cleaner than they arrived.

Our apt complex had them come with a catered lunch back in May. Food was ok, the ladies were nice

Last week in the midst of the covid pandemic my wife completed her masters. I had her family over during the weekend to celebrate. I called Kevin and asked if he could make 1/2 trays of ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and a Caesar salad on 1 days notice and within minutes he checked his inventory and agreed to cater our gathering. The chicken and ribs were delicious and fall off the bone, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the corn was perfectly seasoned.

I couldn't have been happier with everything American BBQ Company did from the first call until we were done eating. We will definitely be using them again in the near future!

Ordered a few trays for a small 1st Bday lunch. The entire experience was pleasant from Roberta, who was so helpful in helping me order to the delivery by Steve, who did a great job setting up the food very quickly. The food itself (especially the sausage and peppers - best I've ever had!) was exceptional. We will definitely be using them again!

On 1/30/21 I ordered a full tray of pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, kielbasa and potatoes, grilled veggies and roasted Rosemary potatoes. from the first phone call to the delivery of the food I could not have been more pleased. I had 2 chefs that are family attend my party and they said it was the best food they have ever had at a party! They wanted to take home the leftovers. I also ordered a tray of cornbread which tends to be dry but it was all eaten. I will definitely reorder. most likely when the leftovers are gone:-

Decided to order pick up from them for dinner tonight. Price was extremely reasonable for $22 for dinner for two. We got the panko and parm crusted chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Everyone was extremely nice and I wanted to love all of this food but it didn't do it for me. The chicken was probably the best part. There was a good amount and the crust was nice with moist chicken.

The mashed potatoes were almost like burnt. I am a huge mashed potato fan and I really didn't like these. Last the max and cheese was good but I think everyone makes theirs differently. Some may like this but it had like a more savory component to it but not sure what. May try something else but not sure yet.

This company is awesome. They deliver to the office building I'm in on Ford Road and man, the food is amazing! The staff are also very nice and courteous and they even delivered food to me when I didn't meet the $15 minimum requirement. They're really nice people and the food is incredible! I'm definitely going to be a regular customer. You get great food at a reasonable price and top notch customer service. They're the best!

Amazing brisket and BBQ wings. I would have attached a photo, but the food was gone before I could even snap a picture. Proof that it's definitely worth getting! Will absolutely order again!

Awesome choice for ready made dinners! BBQ pulled pork is wonderful! We have ordered a few times and they are always delicious.

Nina and Steve were absolutely wonderful in explaining all the details. I had a 4th of July clam bake and my guests are still raving about the wonderful day they had. Our two chefs were outstanding.

Setting up was a breeze, food was cooked to perfection. Pat and his assistance were outstanding. This is a company that knows what they are doing. Thank you to all and I look forward to the next party.

We hired them for a pig roast and it was fantastic. The food was amazing and everyone I spoke with from start to finish was very helpful even after I called 3 or 4 times to change things. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Professional, and fantastic office staff (Steve & Roberta) and great on site cooks (can't remember the names -- not their fault, it's my fault -- damn Heinekens). They were all a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. On the day of our party they arrived, set up and left with not a single problem. The food was delicious and plenty.

Over 60 people fed and not one was left hungry or wishing for more. American BBQ provided plenty of food and then some. They also provided some leftovers. Well worth every penny. Kudos to American BBQ and their entire staff for making our event a memorable one. Thank you.

They recently did a fantastic job at our sons graduation party in Randolph. Everything was flawless, from prep, being on time and most of all, delicious food! Highly recommend

I cannot say enough good things about The American BBQ Company. We hired them for a grad party and it literally rained from morning until night but that didn't stop them one bit. They made the party so effortless that several times we kept saying that we must be forgetting something because we were just enjoying the party and not running around. From the minute I contacted them about the event, they were in constant communication with me about a tent rental, tables, chairs, food selection (which was delicious), etc. They took care of EVERYTHING! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I can't say enough about American BBQ! They were from start to finish amazing. Our cooks were Dominick and Brett who were so polite and organized they made the entire party run smooth. The food was cooked perfect and everything was delicious. We will definitely be using American bbq again for all of our future events. It was a pleasure working with them

We got the Summer Essentials Catering package for our backyard engagement party and everything was fantastic! We had 75 people and the two cooks/servers did a FANTASTIC job. We got so many compliments from our guests that the food was delicious. There was plenty to go around and they handled everything for us from start to finish. They left without a trace as if they were never there but they were kind and friendly throughout the entire afternoon. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Worst beef steak I have EVER been to. Do not hire these guys. Total amateurs. Food was cold. Very slow service.

These guys are great. I had an event on the busiest day of the year, so they couldn't cook at the party, but they were upfront about being able to only cook and have the food delivered. They worked with me to be sure that I had everything I needed, and they were professional and helpful every step of the way. Oh, and the food was great.

"That's the best brisket I've ever had". Replace "brisket" with any of the food served at our wedding and that's what my husband and I have been hearing from our guests since the first appetizers were served. The food from The American BBQ Company was absolutely AMAZING and our guests still haven't stopped telling us so, a week later. Choosing BBQ for a wedding of 170 people is a little unorthodox and could have easily gone wrong. However, working with Nina and Kevin made us feel confident about our decision through the whole process and turned out to be one of the best choices we made. Nina's dedication to helping us ensured that our wedding was the best (and most delicious) day of our lives.

From working out a menu, to setting up tastings, and coordinating our bartenders, Nina was communicative and responsive every step of the way. All of our inane and unending questions were answered ASAP. I couldn't imagine working with anybody else during the stressful wedding planning process. Thank you American BBQ Co, Nina, Kevin, and all the staff for helping make our day perfect! We can't wait to have some more of your pulled pork!

My parents have used this company for years so I was confident in my decision to use them for our most recent party. I am so glad I did, because I cannot say enough about how wonderful this company was! Used them for my daughters 1st birthday. It was a carnival theme and it was great! They offered everything from the cotton candy stand to the hot dog carts! The young men who worked the stands were a pleasure as well! Would definitely recommend them!

American BBQ catered a few of our company BBQ's and they always did an excellent job. I went there today with a co worker for lunch and everything was excellent. Roast beef sandwich was great. My friend had the fried shrimp and fries which was also excellent. We also had the banana pudding which was to die for. The owner was super nice and friendly and gave us some samples of their lobster bisque soup. It had nice large pieces of lobster in the soup. This was probably one of the best lobster bisque soups I ever had. Will definitely be going back!

I'm on the board of our town's newcomers club and we hosted a Mardi Gras themed party this past weekend. We got many quotes from area caterers before deciding to go with American BBQ. The price and the menu were both perfect. The day of the party came and - long story short - we realized an hour into the party when the food hadn't arrived that we gave American BBQ the wrong date of the party!

It was 100% our fault. We called Kevin at American BBQ to see if there was anything he could do (but were pretty much prepared for him to tell us "too bad!") and he totally come through for us! It took him two hours to cook all the food, prepare the desserts, and get it to us, but he did it! He was an absolute lifesaver. Not only did he bust his butt to get us the food, but it was delicious. Guests were raving about it all night. I can't say enough good things about American BBQ's service and the food. Thank you, Kevin, for saving our party!

Always delicious and savory, I order from their lunch menu a few times a week and their tuna recipe is out of this world. Everything is quality made and the owner is very nice and his employees are very pleasant too. Went to a summer BBQ they they catered, the shrimp kabobs were amazing & full of flavor, grilled right in front of you! Always a pleasure ordering from here.

These guys are great. We have had two backyard BBQ parties catered by them. Both times we had about 40 people. We had them cook an entire pig on a spit once and we ordered a southern style BBQ from them the second time. While they weren't 100% on point with their southern style for this southern girl, (they make NJ style BBQ, not NC style) I think that the average Jersian doesn't really know what a southern BBQ is and so they would be happy.

We had lots of Southerners up here for the party and they loved the brisket and sausages, but didn't know what they were, that's 'cause they're a northern thing. Anyway- they come on time, set up quickly and do their thing. Then before you know it, they've packed up the food for you and cleaned up their area and they're ready to go. No hassles on your end. Like I said, we have used them twice and we will use them again. They are the best that we know of in the area.
