Angelo does it again! 5 stars for services and 100 stars for his amazing pastries. My go to cake is always the champagne cake. The cake is creamy and raspberry. I ordered the chocolate ganache for my friend's Goddess Birthday Weekend. And this chocolate ganache was truly fitting for a goddess. Sublime! We joked that it's the type of desert that should be fed to you. Angelo was easy to communicate with, accommodated my last minute request and worked with my schedule to arrange pick up before heading off to JTree. You can taste the care and attention that went into creating the goods. I will definitely be ordering from Bonpastry again! I can't wait to try the other cakes.

Such a wonderful business! I have been going to Bonpastry for the past 6 years and they are always so consistently good and yummy. The fruit tart is incredible! The shell is crumbly and buttery. The pastry cream is beyond words! Topped with fresh amazing fruit makes this a 10/10. I ended up moving 2 years ago and haven't found anywhere better! They have batch of goodies whenever in town. The Custer service is simply amazing they really make you feel like family! Anything you get you wouldn't be disappointed!

This place is amazing! I contacted them for an event and they got right back to me. Angelo went above and beyond to make sure we selected the right assortment. Delivery was prompt and professional. And the desserts are amazing! The chocolate ganache is the best I've ever had. I just contacted for another event.

Since dining out is still a bit of a risk, I wanted to make my wife's at-home birthday dinner special with an authentic French vanilla cake, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Bonpastry nearby. We were both amazed at the quality of the cake, and incredible complexity of the flavors. You can sense the care that was taken to prepare it by just looking at it, but that first bite is really something to remember.

We have not had a cake of this caliber since leaving Japan five years ago (where they take French pastries very seriously), and we'll be coming back again for my birthday and many more to come.

I stumbled across this bakery last minute. I did not know it was all digital. I was able to talk to the owner and he was able to make me a cake within 4 hours! He was so incredibly nice and took time on the phone to go over each cake. We got the champagne vanilla cake for my boyfriend's mom's birthday. It was so delicious! Not too sweet, not too much cream and the cake was at the right texture! I haven't had a good cake in awhile. I will definitely order another cake from them soon!

*** NO I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND AND NOWHERE ON THE SITE DOES IT SAY THE BUSINESS WILL BE CLOSED DURING WHATEVER DAYS IN SEPTEMBER 2021 WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER ON AUGUST 25th 2021*** I ordered a Tiramisu cake almost two weeks in advance of when I would need it and received an email from them 3 BUSINESS DAYS from when it should have been delivered saying they will be out of town for a catering job and then will be taking days off when I ordered the delivery for.

I guess they don't look at the orders coming in? Waited til The last minute? This was a first order for us and will be our last. It's a shame because we were looking for a reliable company to do our catering but if Bonpastry can't even get one cake done, it doesn't give me much confidence that they will be able to deliver on thousands of dollars worth of monthly catering.

Oh well, they missed out on great customers because they thought it was just one cake and apparently not worth their time to respond the next day from When the order was placed. They had to let a week And a half go by before sending an email saying they couldn't fulfill my order. Now it's too late to order from other companies for a couple of days from now ruining the occasion we ordered the cake for. What's more irritating? Bonpastry not taking responsibility for their mistakes on this order and instead posting a response to my review with excuses and lies.

From beginning to end my experience with Bonpastry was amazing. I ordered 4 Napoleon for my mom's 83rd birthday and we were so happy with the results. delicious is an understatement, these pastries were superb. Thank you Angelo for the extra heart cookies and the personable attention of my order. I will definitely order these again and more. :

I ordered Bonpastry's Champagne Vanilla Cake for 2 birthdays (4th of July & the 9th) The cake was a hit. If you are looking for a cake to impress, this is it! very light and delicious. It also came with a personalized service from the owners. Kudos to Mr. Angelo!

This place is amazing. I live in Portland. I wanted to send a cake to a friend and their family as a birthday gift. The cake was reported to be AMAZING. The presentation was beautiful. Angelo was kind enough to deliver it for me as I was literally in another state. Wonderful person. Amazing cake. Amazing service. Highly recommend.

This place is as Good as it Gets! Every bite is a taste of Heaven. I ordered the Champagne Cake, the double chocolate cake, and the sable cookies for a birthday and OMG! The desserts made the entire party! There was not a single bite left and every single person raved about the desserts the entire time. You truly feel like you landed in Paris as soon as you take a bite. Wow! Highly recommend everyone to give this place a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

I found this spot on yelp when I was looking to order something for my friends birthday. I am not in San Diego but wanted to order something special for her. She is gluten and dairy free so finding some thing was a little bit challenging. I called and Angelo was super helpful in helping me customize the chocolate ganache that they already had to make it more exciting for her.

He also helped me add some chocolate covered strawberries which are not an item on the menu. They deliver as well. She loved her treat and I felt confident in my order because Angelo was transparent every step of the way. I definitely will visit them whenever I find myself in San Diego

I ordered desserts for my grandma's Bday. Great costumer service. Angelo is was very attentive, added a last minute birthday card. They totally made my grandmother's birthday during Covid very special. Thank you Bonpastry!

This place was our selection for our Christmas and New Year celebration's dessert. We tasted multiple slices of their desserts and all were amazing. Our favorite choice for the Christmas dinner was the Champagne cake and for Nee Year was the macaroons and the cookies. Other cake options were outstanding: buche noel, chocolate and strawberry cake but came down to personal preference.

This place is the first truly European bakery we find after living a few years in the San Diego area. There are a lot of similar places but the quality is not that good. Here they use the right ingredients and show a different level with details such as the toasted almonds, raspberries, lemon skin grate etc. They provide white glove level service and have a personal touch when delivering orders. Angelo was very helpful at all steps of process explaining every product. This place shows a passion for bakery that is difficult to match.

I had such a great experience with Bonpastry. They're delivery service was a perfect option to surprise my girlfriend with a macaron giftbox (which I also enjoyed :). Sergio was so kind and helpful making sure the delivery day and time worked for me. I will absolutely be using them again for any celebrations. Highly recommended!

Where do I even start. I am so glad I found these guys! We ordered a lemon mascarpone cheesecake and by far the best cheesecake I've ever had hands down. They are an online based bakery small local business. Angelo was pleasant to work with, great customer service. I can just tell they put so much love and work into their product. Also the ingredients used are definitely high quality stuff. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend!

If Only I could give more than 5 stars I would! I live in Canada, ordered their Chocolate Strawberry cake for a very special friend in San Diego! I'm so impressed by their care for customers, their flexibility and their great attitude! Angelo went above & beyond by calling me three times to help me make up my mind, that made my on-line purchase a lot easier. The cake was accompanied by a cute card, and delivered on-time! This was the best find that could ever occur. My Fathers birthday is today and he absolutely loves cheesecake. Although it was last minute it was the one thing he wanted. My mom told me yesterday (Thursday) that its what he wanted soo I started my research. This was the 3rd place I called (like they say 3rd times the charm). Angelo was the person who answered, the customer service was top notch.

I knew that I wanted a cheesecake and he directed me to the website to ensure I chose the type I wanted. He was willing to stay on the line and answer any questions I had. The call at some point was disconnected but he called back and made sure my order was completed. Angelo and his wife found a way to make my Father a cheesecake for the day of his birthday with not even 24 hours notice.

They were absolutely wonderful all the way around. They even went the extra mile and wrapped it in a beautiful bow and added a heart-shaped cookie. He knew that I would be making a trip from picking up the cheesecake to West Covina, he gave me directions to ensure the best tasting cheesecake. I want to put a hugeeeee emphasis on the fact that my boyfriend does NOT like cheesecake at all, hes never been a fan.

I myself, was a hugeee cheesecake lover, recently I just haven't had the taste for it. This cheesecake changed everything. My boyfriend at it alllll up. I absolutely loved every bite. I definitely should have gotten the bigger portion because it did not last the night. Everyone fell in love with the pastry, and I will definitely be trying out more items from them!

Wow! I meant to post this a while back but better late than never. I needed a birthday cake for my boyfriend and of course I left it u til the last minute. I called around, emailed and everyone either didn't reply or said it was too early of a notice. I was about to stop looking but I came across Bonpastry and I'm so glad I was able to order his cake.

I actually didn't even have to talk to or email anyone. You directly order it online, choose deliver or pickup options and the cake was ready! I had originally scheduled a 2 pm pickup but the owner was so accommodating and met me at 12pm. He was so sweet! Keep in mind that the Carlsbad meeting places aren't located where the cakes are baked, he'll meet you in front of a popular shop so it's easy to find.

The pickup was quick and he explained what to expect from the cake, how to store it and even followed up with me later on that day to make sure it was everything he said it would be. IT WAS! It's hard to explain the taste, I ordered the Champagne Vanilla cake, it was like an explosion of flavors. You got hints of lemon, vanilla, affogato and of course the raspberries.

We never finish our cakes, since they were always store bought we never bothered to eat them after a couple of bites but this cake was different. I think I ate it two days after and it was still really tasty. I can't wait until I get another occasion to order this, I might even do it without a special occasion haha.

I live up in the Central Valley and was looking for a bakery to deliver a surprise birthday cake to my son in San Marcos. After reading the reviews here I took my chances. Yelpers, you did not disappoint! I placed my order for the Chocolate Strawberry cake with Angelo and told him the exact time I needed it delivered. He was very communicative throughout the process, making it very easy.

The cake was delivered on time, and most importantly, it received rave reviews! I so wish I could have tasted it myself, but my son and his roommates all said that it was perfect. I really cannot recommend this bakery enough, and will definitely stop by next time we're in the area.

I first discovered Bonpastry years ago at my friend's baby shower, when I tried the BEST macarons and cookies EVER. I then purchased some again at the Carlsbad Street Fair. Recently, I ordered a champagne almond cake and sable cookies for my manager's birthday. I've been addicted to Bonpastry since meeting them at CookieCon in Anaheim. I never thought I would make special trips to San Diego just to get my fix (I'm in LA County), but their Chocolate Strawberry cake is so worth it. Very easy process to place an order and arrange for a pick up location.

I wanted to order something decadent for my wife's birthday and I decided to try Bonpastry after seeing their menu online. I ordered the chocolate ganache and got a super convenient delivery window of 6-7PM the same night. After calling to confirm, the delivery person arrived five minutes early, called promptly, and actually waited a bit for me to get home so I could say hello and receive the cake.

He provided some helpful tips about how best to serve it and even included some super thoughtful birthday decorations which were a lovely touch. The ganache is absolutely fantastic - rich, dense but almost immediately melts away into a texture that I can only describe as pillowy. Just perfectly executed and an absolute treat. The price was extremely reasonable for the size and quality. Super fast easy delivery, fantastic food, and service that goes above and beyond. We'll be trying the whole menu out and telling friends about Bonpastry!

Since I was unable to spend Easter with my loved ones, I decided to send them a fancy dessert. I searched the internet and I came across Bonpastry. I put in my three orders and a few hours later I received a phone call from the owner, Angelo to discuss my purchase. He couldn't have been nicer and we ended up talking about his bakery for a while.

There is no store front to this bakery as they make everything to order.! We went with a variety of slices so we could try a little of everything. best decision! We got some macaroons, which I highly recommend. The Shortbread cookies filled with Nutella were good. Next time I would like to try another filling. The Belgium ganache cake was rich and would pair great with red wine.

The Foret Nior cake was spongy and light and the cream frosting was amazing. The champagne cake blew my mind. I will always get this. The toasted almonds and fresh raspberries on top were fantastic and the frosting makes my mouth water just thinking now it. TRY OUT BONPASTRY! You won't be disappointed.

We had a surprise delivery from the bakery. It was the best desserts ever! Absolutely amazing. Just what we needed to uplift our spirits. I'll be sending treats to many friends from BonPastry.
