We stopped in after a flight from out of town. Food was made fresh and tasted amazing. The mint brownies are a must have desert! We will be stopping in again!

It's taken years if not decades for Wolfe's to hone their trade. What a Great deli. Every thing is fresh. Beautiful sandwiches with excellent sides. My work takes me there once a week. I always look forward to going there and trying something new.

I used to work in Pomona and went to Wolfe's once or twice a week. Due to California's tyrannical covid policies I left the state in 2020 and moved to Arizona. One of the few things I miss about California is Wolfe's deli. You guys are great.

I rarely give reviews and have trouble thinking of any time I've given a positive review but I can't help but give one here. I've worked in downtown Claremont for 3 years now and after having gotten to know the town very well, Wolfe's easily is my go-to lunch spot. I go there at least 2 times per week with 3-4 not being uncommon. Originally I would go because they were across the street from a shop I was designing and their food was just awesome, but the more I went the more I got to know the people who work there, who have quickly become even more of a reason for me to visit.

They're all extremely nice, many know my name (as well as I theirs), and the brief lunchtime conversations always make my day significantly better. TLDR: originally I went because they have the best food in town for lunch, now I go twice as often because the people are even better.

We really enjoy the sandwiches. My husband and I have tried their different options but have really loved the Tuna Melt and the Tripple T. It comes with a side and their of plenty of options. We highly recommend.

Neat little shop with some history. Goods that are offered here have such variety. Haven't tried everything on the menu, but the sandwiches and desserts have been delicious. Staff is friendly, and the place is neat. Parking in the afternoon can get filled VERY fast. Definitely would return, and would recommend

I have been coming here for lunch for years. There is an excellent menu with lunches and desserts and salads. The staff is courteous and friendly. The market is now closed and there is a nice seating area inside in addition to the outdoor benches. It is nice to sit in here during the summer. Nice job on the remodel!

Just moved to Claremont in April so I went to my Yelp app to find local places to grab a bite to eat and so glad I saw this. This is is legit period! So far every item I have gotten has tons of flavor and oooooh so delish. I recommend their lemon cupcakes are pure perfection! Chips and Guacamole stole my corazonzito.

Go to! Go to! Go to! You know how sometimes you'll go to a restaurant/ deli/ food place, whatever. and the food is "good" but you'd likely never go back? Well, Wolfe's experience is NOT the experience. This place is not only addictive because of the fresh food/salads/bbq/guac/ sweet treats etc, but the people behind the wonderful food are simply hearts of gold; kind, helpful, always welcoming, always smiling.

The amazing chef, Chewy is so kind and is always letting my husband and I taste new menu items etc. the food is freshly made. Our go tos are the fajita panini, health nut (as pictured) and they have bbq days along with other themed food. The salads are jam packed so it looks expensive but when you throw it in a bowl you realize how it can feed two or you get a lot of salad to yourself.

You might think, " I can go to t. Joes and get a $5 salad" but the salads don't compare. Wolfe's makes their food and salads in house. All fries aren't created equal- their fries are so good- they don't need ketchup. Can't say enough good about the Gem!

I waited to try this place several times before leaving a review. And this review applies to all my visits. The Wolfe's Deli Garden Burger is gross because they don't know how to cook it. The outer edge of the burger is always nice and good, somewhat crispy and tasty, but the middle of the burger is always uncooked soggy schlop. Every single time.

What causes this? Cooks who cook too fast. Veggie burgers (and all burgers) should be slow-cooked. This enables the middle part of the patty to be properly done. At Wolfe's they do a quick-cook, then they think it's good because it looks fine on the outside. The surface of the patty is cooked, yes. But the inside is lacking. The patty itself is high quality, and so is the lettuce. But this quality is ruined with their inability to properly cook it.

I was craving a sandwich so I searched for local deli's. Saw that Wolfe's in Claremont had a deli. Went in and was greeted and welcomed into the store. The menu choices are great, but they didn't have a hit grill available (maybe broken?) so only cold sandwiches available. Opted for a toasted sourdough vegetarian sandwich with a side of fruit.

My husband had a roast beef sandwich with a side of green pea salad. Both sandwiches made to order. Servings are huge. Sandwiches were good but unfortunately the bread was not too fresh. They also didn't have deli mustard which was disappointing. Nice eat in area. Will be back to try a hot sandwich.

I love this place, has been in Claremont forever (was a grocery store) now a deli and the best deli I know of. I get my meal plans here as well, as well as my protein shakes every morning. Customer service is on point here. If you are a regular, they always call you by your name and always ask how you doing, who does that? I can't I can't think of a place that, which is why I love coming here for everything, if I'm having a potluck at work, I come to them, and you can call and place your order as well and almost every Friday they have a bbq going inside which with differ weekly as well as the offer breakfast meals (which are yummy). If you haven't been to the "new" Wolfe's Market, come by and see their newly remodeled Deli.

High pricing for just average food. It's the reason they went out of business as a market. No one pays $7 for a $3 pickle jar. They use the same or cling with their deli and when you buy fruit with a sandwich the portion is ridiculously small and extremely high priced. In addition the fruit was less than fresh and their pepperocini's seemed like they have had them for at least 2 days and they were wilted.

The owner saying that under $10 is normal. Not so much. A small container of Chips $4.50 Spinach Dip $7.50. Fruit not fresh. He can say they prepare the fruit fresh. Clearly not that day. Another owner making excuses and even with pictures clearly showing the peppers were wrinkled and their fruit was far from fresh as the clerk hap hazardly didn't even try to give full variety of the fruit. Sorry your response was ridiculous. Won't be back.

These women are so awesome. Their creations are so amazing and you can see they use fresh ingredients. I walked in for my Sunday morning ritual (cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting ) and saw this display of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats out of the oven being cut up and had to take a picture. I found they all have their own signature recipes are famous locally here in Claremont. I now moved to east coast and I dream of this place.

Don't try to order anything that requires their grill on Sundays. The cafe is open, but they can't make half of their menu and it isn't advertised anywhere.

I'm done going to Wolfe's Market, after having frequented this Claremont institution for over 30 years. Sad, but true. Last month I went to the kitchen area twice and twice they took orders from people who had just walked in, while I was waiting to place mine. OK, so they don't have the "Take-a-Number" system, but is it so difficult to ask Who's Next?

Today I felt like having their delicious Chicken Stir Fry, so I went there again, with some apprehension. Guess what - it happened again. So I let them know about my unhappiness, walked out and had lunch elsewhere.

Gf and I had lunch here today. She got the 1/2 tuna melt and I got grilled border w/chicken and side was red bacon potato salad. Nice customer service and clean kitchen. When I asked what kinda of steak they use. Took the cook some thinking just to tell me is was flat iron. So I got chicken. Lol. Salad was good. Gf was not a fan of the mustard in the salad.

Little over powering of the bacon. A bit to much of tuna in the sandwich, felt like eating tuna by the spoonful. The grilled border sandwich was tasty. Could have been on better bread. Over all good place for a quick bit to eat. Looking forward to the new restaurant renovation!

Hate to have to leave this review but I feel it's necessary. Stopped in to Wolfe's Market Deli for lunch one afternoon ordered a Beefeater sandwich. got it home and it was pretty big. So me being a light eater I ate half for lunch and half for dinner that's all I needed to eat for the day Next morning a bad case of the squirts and a full day of a mild case of food poisoning. it had to be the beef on the sandwich as I didn't eat anything else all day and the beef really wasn't all that tasty and fresh looking.

Usually I'll give a place two tries before I dis them or a write a review. But when a place makes you sick that's a whole different story. I really wanted to like this place as I'm looking for a good sandwich shop. Disappointed in it and now I'm afraid to go back.

This place has a family feel and sometimes we used to order sandwiches. They were ok but nothing special, but the place is so close it's very convenient. Then I found out they gave money on the Prop 8 issue-- to outlaw gay marriage. I can't really swallow their food the same way.

Bomb sandwiches, and they come with a side and sweet desert! I actually didn't even know they came with a desert when I ordered, but they just kind of surprised me with one they picked at random. So I got a little square of apple pie that was amazing. The turkey with cranberry sauce was sooo good. It was thanksgiving, minus the awkward family.

Great small homie market. If you come here you have to try the Toms Favorite chocolate shake by ( shakeology). The bomb! During the weekends they BBQ outside of the business and cook up ribs, burgers ect. There sandwiches and lunch specials are a great value, they also have meal prep for the health nuts. Overall the employees are super nice and make you feel welcomed. Let's not forget the baked goods amazing cookies and muffins.

Tried a Sandwich from the Deli, it's delicious. It did not include cheese. (I thought sandwiches include cheese, usually?) Salad and sides are tasty. The burger part is open only until 2:30/3 pm.

I currently attend school in Pomona and we have a lot of catered lunches. Not the best for my waistline but free food! Unfortunately I can never say no to a free lunch, but I really should pass when it's Wolfe's Market. It's usually considered a "fancy lunch" maybe because it's pricier. Every time I've tried it, the sandwich was so plain.

I love sandwiches and I just don't know how they always get it wrong. Sorry even subway has more flavor. But even better yet! Today we had it catered with two choices. Ham or turkey & provolone. (Apparently the veggie options weren't delivered so those were late). But what do you know. Most of the sandwiches labeled "turkey and provolone" were missing turkey! So I ate bread & veggies yay. Still edible though. And I do like their pasta (I just remove olives, personal preference). And no complaints about the fruit.
