Lovely old fashion seaside cafe, Ken has been running it 45+ years, friendly staff good honest food at great prices.

This cafe is perfect in every way. Completely transporting to another era. Very affordable. Comfort food. Lovely staff. Makes me wish I lived in Folkestone.

Food great and charged at fantastic prices I last saw in the 1980s. Ken such a Gentleman and his able Cook and assistant was working her socks off. Our 4 y.o. Grandson spilt his chocolate milkshake all over the table and floor. Ken sorted the table in no time and his aide likewise appeared like magic with the mop. Ken told our Grandson it must have been a slippery glass and was not his fault.

We apologised as they are busy people, and were charmed by this smiling man when he returned a few minutes later with a free replacement. Such charm and customer service rarely seen these days.

So pleased to have found this place. An 'old school' cafe with a great breakfast offering. Sensationally good value. It's cash only, but on my first visit I only had Euro's in my wallet from an old holiday. But friendly proprietor Ken cheerfully accepted them and I've been a regular customer since. Highly recommended.

Simple and traditional cafe that serves a great menu of superbly and freshly cooked dishes. Very welcoming and attentive. Excellent for Breakfast and lunches.

Very much good value if looking for a cooked breakfast. Owners as re brilliant, nothing is too much trouble.

I used to take my children in here approx 25years ago and was pleased to see it was exactly the same when I took my granddaughter yesterday. Same lovely friendly gentleman that runs it

A proper throw back cafe more unattributed to a past gone era. First time visiting this place, Ken was great, food inexpensive. Lived here for over ten years now and never knew this little Folkestone gem existed, well worth a visit

Inexpensive, Ken is always friendly. Good location, but felt you couldn't take your time in there. Food was tasty, although felt the place could have been a tiny bit cleaner.

Excellent home-cooked British food, served with good humour. Be aware it is cash-only.

Food was great well worth the visit I travelled from South Wales spent a lot of time there Ken was fantastic with kids also the lady that cook the food was amazing thank you all will definitely be back again

Had a fantastic roast dinner and my friends had battered cod & chips. Beautifully fresh and huge portion sizes. This is a basic-looking Cafe, but don't be fooled by appearances. the food is excellent

Proper British cafe, literally can't go wrong. Great prices with really friendly staff and Ken, who I hear is the owner gets involved with everything, checked our meals where good, cleared our plates in good time. Can't fault the place and will be back!
