The Harvest Cafe is a wonderful local cafe/restaurant/bar. You can go in and lounge on the comfy couches or enjoy the dining room where there is live music almost everyday. The staff is very friendly, Karen a local resident for multiple years has great advice for the neighborhood, while the waitresses are more than talkative if you're looking for a little conversation or advice. Miranda has a great attitude and is one of my favorite waitresses to get.
You can also just go in and work, although lively, the vibe is very laid back, and there's plenty of space to find a spot and work on your computer, read a book or enjoy passing time during the day. If you haven't checked out this place, you should!

I love Harvest Cafe. Both the food & the atmosphere are wonderful. Any place that appreciates the arts, esp. giving local, live music a home is a winner in my heart. The food is also local & fresh. I wish more places like this existed. I am a fairly new resident to MA. I moved here from Atlanta about 6 months ago & this is the type of place I miss from back home.
Recently while having brunch here, there was an acoustic guitar set by a local fellow. He played "Georgia on My Mind" and I took it as a sign that this place would be my new favorite local spot!

You would think Sunday morning brunch would be quick. Not at the Harvest Cafe in Hudson. We were seated right way, and was accommodated witha child seat for my 9 month old. However, was never informed that there was an hour wait for food orders to come out of the kitchen when the dining room was only have full. Once the food came out, my son became a bit fussy (what 9 month old wouldn't after sitting in one place for over an hour), and the waitress had the audacity to comment on his fussiness.
I immediately walked out at that point. The fact that it took an hour to get French Toast (which I would have been able to drive to Stop and Shop, get the ingredients, cook, eat and clean in the same time frame), coffee full of grinds, and a glass of orage juice that I had to ask 3 times for, this I will never return, and never recommend to anyone. If someone in that area wants a breakfast place, I will recommend McDonalds over Harvest Cafe.

My Husband and I eat out A LOT so we consider ourselves pretty good critics on the local restaurants. The one consistently sure to please place is The Harvest Cafe. Weather it's breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is always fresh and delicious! The interior is so comefy and clean and everyone there makes you feel like an old friend rather then just another patron. We highly recommend going there and unless they change things it will remain one of favorites!

Our new favorite hangout! Breakfast for sure on the weekends and dinner once or twice a week and new for Friday night Date night! Love the staff (Hi Sandy!) and the food is DEEEELISH! The owner is wicked friendly and even let us come in a little early last weekend so we could watch the F1 race. AWESOME! I think we even have a few F1 converts now! The bar is a nice place to sit and chat and hangout while eating.
There is a comfie lounging area next to the bar - couches, leather recliners, power, free wi-fi. A great place to sit and work when you can work away from the office. The dinner seating area has a stage w/ live music performed a few nights a week. Wednesday night is open mike night for those just starting out or who like the intimate atmosphere. Book club meetings on Thursdays. Like I said - our new favorite place!
