Very disappointed. I had previous weddings here that were beautiful. My son recently got married here and when he booked it there were no covid restrictions but a few days before wedding the restrictions went into effect. Since 40 people weren't vaccinated, they downgraded his wedding to a general party. No cocktail hour, only one room instead of 2.
No wedding cake. No sweet table, They had to bring in their own. They also charged them for a small sweet table which only had miniatures. The ceremony was in the small room and the reception was to be in the larger room. These changes went into effect 4 days before wedding. No one was using the other room so there was no reason to squeeze 60 people into the small room when the bigger room was empty.
The photo booth had to be put in the entry near the front door. It was freezing. Temperature outside was 10 degrees. The owners had no loyalty to the fact that we had previous weddings there. Greedy owners. It was their wedding day and the owners ruined it by taking away all that he should have had. They had 60 guests instead of 100. It was not their fault. The owners still would have made money, but they were greedy and couldn't let them have the wedding that was originally planned.

The Milillo Event Group helped my wife and I have a wonderful wedding at their Philadelphia Ballroom venue. From the first meeting all the way through to the end, they were easy to work with and worked with us to help make sure everything went smoothly every step of the way. And the food was fantastic. It was an amazing time and we're really happy that we chose them for our special day.

Thanks to Milillo event group and team we had the perfect wedding day! Our ceremony was held in the Fountain Room. The seating arrangement was beautiful. The reception was perfect. The food was OUTSTANDING! We were given left overs as well! Our Maitre D John was amazing! He was so helpful and was right there for us if we needed anything! He was the best and I'm so happy he was there with us!
Our bridal suite was cute and cozy, the guests bathrooms are gorgeous and immaculate. I could go on forever about how perfect our wedding was. Thank you all SO much for everything, your generosity, help and hard work. I will always look back on my wedding day as the best day of my life!

The location of my Alma Mater's Mother's Day Brunch was not bad. I have never been here before, but it seemed nice. The room was a decent size, and the price was only $35 a person, which included Open Bar Mimosas. I think perhaps I just didn't like the atmosphere itself. The food was pretty good, I liked the french toast, the donuts, and the red bliss potatoes were AMAZING.
The workers were nice for the most part, although there were a few that seemed tired and fed up with the event, and they gave off that vibe. I also did not like my particular location at the table, as we were close to the bar, but on the corner, closest to the photographer, which made it difficult to get out of my chair because all the people were lining up behind me to get their picture taken.
I did not have to go to the restroom in the 3 hours I was there, so I was not able to check that out. The lighting also made it difficult to take pictures in there. The place was not bad, perhaps I'm just basing my experience off the people at the event themselves (which I wasn't a huge fan of).

We went to this "establishment" for my daughters sports banquet. It was $30pp. I know that is cheap but we could have done better at any fast food joint. It was a buffet for about 300 people. They served frozen soggy chicken fingers with mushy penne pasta and French fries, also a small salad. If you wanted WATER or a beverage you had to wait in an extremely long line at the bar. That's right! NO WATER FOR YOU at the table. AND JUST FOR KICKS 'NO DESSERT' EITHER.
Everything was served on Styrofoam plates. Someone dropped all their food on the dance floor early on.yea, that stayed on the floor the whole night. I thought we were being punked. Awful place.

I've been involved in functions that used P&P Caterers at the Southampton Room for 16 years. Never Have I Had A Bad Experience. Great food, tremendous menu to choose from. Always go for the Chicken in wine/mushroom sauce. Pricing very reasonable, Better bar than most pubs. Already Planning next year's EPC Dinner Dance

Attended a wedding this weekend at the Southampton Room. The food was really good, buffet-style with carving station with three kinds of meat. An assortment of veggies and desserts, fruits & pastas. Everything was really tasty - especially the fettucine alfredo. I usually steer clear of such a dish, but it was soooo good, I had seconds (will regret later). Was not a fan of the gravy for the roast beef, but to each their own.
Will also say that the staff was Uber-friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very quaint & classy with good lighting & bar and dancefloor areas were well laid out. Would recommend this as a venue for a big party or wedding - probably holds about 350 max. Fun was had by all and isn't that what it's all about?
