We recently had our wedding tasting at the Vinwood tasting room in Ipswich. The everything was amazing. Great food and service. So excited that we chose a venue that uses Vinwood for catering. Perfect from start to finish. Looking forward to our wedding even more since the tasting experience.

FANTASTIC! Vinwood is a great company with some great people! Thank you Emily and Charlie, you were wonderful to work with and did a great job! We appreciate your professionalism and flexibility. We had a wedding scheduled for Saturday but Mother Nature had other plans - 14 inches of snow! Without any fuss Vinwood agreed to a date change and still delivered on everything that was promised. The meals were exceptional and the service was top notch! I highly recommend the filet mignon.

Hands down the best food I have ever had at a wedding. Food was very important to us and Vinwood was simply the best. The food was tasty, Gary was wonderful to work with as he was flexible and super responsive. I wish I could go back and eat my wedding food again and again because it was that good. Everything from the raw bar to the bread to the meals was INCREDIBLE. Book them now, a better wedding caterer does not exist, trust me.

Vinwood caterers food is delicious and staff is super helpful, professional, and friendly. I had the pleasure of working with one of their coordinators for my wedding and she helped with the entire menu selection and seating options. The whole process was seamless, the food was well prepared, and the menu options were plenty. I would highly recommend them!

I recently had the opportunity to use your company through a harbor cruise with Beauport. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I received about your menu, the presentation and the wait staff. It made for a magical evening. I am truly emotionally overwhelmed writing this review. I couldn't wait to put into words how truly wonderful Vinwood has been to work with. I moved to CO from MA a year until my wedding and they made everything so easy and put me at ease. Stephanie was SO responsive, SO professional, SO sweet and SO easy to work with. Vinwood provided us with both our catering and bar for our wedding.

Also included was day of coordination which was invaluable. Harmony was our day of coordinator and she was so thoughtful in our pre-wedding meeting and absolutely executed our vision to a T. Vinwood made the day of my wedding SO easy for me. Harmony checked in on us throughout the day/night and even made sure I got a plate of food when I was busy talking to guests.

All staff members the day of were just so wonderful and looked absolutely amazing. Our guests raved about how amazing all the food and drinks were and the presentation was so stunning. We definitely agree, and like most, we wish we got to eat more! Vinwood provides so much value and peace of mind. They also frequent our venue so they were very familiar with the property and owners of the venue which was also an added plus.

I can't find words to describe how truly grateful we are for the incredible service we received. They went above and beyond and delivered the most incredible day we will never forget. I can't recommend highly enough.

All I can say is WOW. Not only was the food phenomenal but the service was top notch. They really went above and beyond all our expectations. We planned our wedding in 5months and being amidst a wedding boom, we were really lucky Vinwood was available for our date. At the time they were not holding tastings due to covid so we really booked them on a whim, entrusting all reviewers.

They did eventually open their tasting room, once the restrictions were lifted. And we were so happy we went with our gut because the food was soooo GOOD. Our number one priority for our wedding was the food. Our families are Chinese/Vietnamese and they're used to banquet style Asian weddings. So we really wanted to impress them with something out of the norm.

At the end of the night, everyone was raving about the food! (GET THE SHORT RIB, you will not be disappointed.) However, I think the real star of the day was Stephanie and the level of service that was delivered. All our communication up until our wedding was so highly organized. She made great recommendations and was super helpful throughout our planning process.

On our wedding day everything felt very hectic but she ensured everything was moving seamlessly. My MOH has been in a couple weddings and mentioned that my wedding day was probably the least stressful than ones she's been in. I really owe it all to Stephanie and her team. They were truly incredible. I was also amazed by the set up of our reception area.

Everything was done so beautifully. All the servers during dinner were so friendly and kind. I've said this so many times already but I really am blown away and so thankful to have had her and the team. I would HIGHLY recommend Vinwood, and would 1000% use them for any future events! Read Less

Vinwood was absolutely amazing! We still have guests telling us how delicious the food was months later. Some even said it was one of the best meal they've ever had! We had five passed apps for cocktail hour and a plated meal for 130. All of the food was delicious and the braised short ribs were to die for! All of the staff were professional and courteous. Stephanie was our event manager and she is AMAZING!

She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly as you want it and more, for the months of planning ahead of time and on the day of. She was even on her hands and knees scrubbing a mud stain off my dress in the middle of cocktail hour! I can't say it enough, she really is amazing! I would recommend Vinwood for any event you have, you will not be disappointed!

My son and daughter in law just had their wedding at the Carriage House at Lynch Park Beverly with Vinwood. From the start Jessica from Vinwood was the most responsive of any caterer we contacted. She was very professional and easy to work with. As the wedding date approached we also worked with Gary who was great to work with and was a wonderful day of the wedding manager.

He took the worry out of anything before it became a concern. They were both awesome to work with. The entire staff at the wedding were great. The chefs, waiters and waitresses as well as the bus boys and clean up crew to the bartenders were all professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The food, what can I say about the food. The kids wanted a bbq and Vinwood offers various buffet themed events.

We went with the Western BBQ which included salad, bread, steak tips, ribs, sausage, chicken, corn and potato salad. All were excellent and our guests were raving about the food. There was something for everyone which was great. Prices for the buffet were very reasonable and lower than some that we looked into. All in all we expected great food with professional service and Vinwood delivered. We are very glad we went with them, they made the wedding very special.

We used Vinwood Catering for our July 7th wedding at Smith Barn, upon receiving a recommendation from a family friend that had been a wedding planner on the North Shore for many years. We knew when starting along in the wedding planning process that the food was very important to us. To say that we were satisfied with her recommendation would be an understatement. Vinwood was more expensive than the other caterers we were considering but we truly believe that the cost was well worth it for the quality of food we received.

From start to finish, Gary and Barbara were so easy to work with. The initial tasting was held at the Crane Estate and we were allowed to bring family - which was a huge bonus! On our wedding day, our meals were perfectly prepared and our guests are still telling us how much they loved the antipasto, passed hors d oeuvres and meals (the macaroni and cheese balls, ravioli and chicken were favorites!).

Thank you Vinwood for providing us the food and service we had dreamt about. We will definitely be recommending Vinwood to friends and family in the future. Future brides - don't hesitate to reserve Vinwood for your big day.

We loved working with Vinwood for our wedding. Stephanie, in particular, was a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding weekend. We decided to have her on hand for the wedding day itself which was a great decision - she made sure everything went smoothly, from the catering set up to decoration placement to bus drop offs. Also, the food was delicious! We couldn't be more happy with Vinwood and would recommend them to anyone.

Vinwood just catered my daughter's bridal show and they did a wonderful job! We had allergy concerns and dietary restrictions that they accommodated seamlessly. The food was delicious and hot, the staff was wonderful and very attentive and the set up was beautiful. They made the shower elegant and I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family! Very pleased.

Vinwood did an amazing job at my Aug 12th wedding at the Rockport Art Association. From day 1, they worked with us to create a menu that we loved. We worked with Jessica and Ashley - who were both incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Vinwood did way more than just provide us with amazing food - they helped us build a timeline, set up our venue, took down the tables, served dessert, and the list goes on. We recently had our daughter's wedding at Turner Hill Mansion and we were so fortunate to have Vinwood Caters provide an excellent experience! From the moment we walked in the appetizers, main meal, dessert and superior staff far surpassed our expectations. They are without a doubt a premier catering company whose attention to detail, pride in their product and service and high quality selections is apparent in all that they do! We highly recommend Vinwood and will definitely use them and recommend them, again and again!

Vinwood catered my wedding and overall it was a fantastic experience working with them. Our reception hall only works with a specific list of caterers, and Vinwood was one of the less expensive options. The food was delicious, and the passed hors d'oeuvres were a complete hit with our guests! While Vinwood did not do individual tastings, they did have a group tasting that I attended and found it helpful in deciding on the final menu.

I am so glad we picked vinwood as the caterer for our wedding! The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone was talking about the steak and the mac and cheese bar for days afterwards! They waiters were very attentive and the dining manager made sure that I always had a drink in my hand and made sure I ate! They even made sure that I tried the mac and cheese from the mac and cheese bar, which was our late night snack.

I was so busy dancing I didn't realize they had put it out! There was one little hiccup during the night when our champagne glasses were accidentally shattered. I think they asked me about 5 times if I was ok and really wanted to make sure that they made it up to us! I really appreciated the way they handled the situation. I would definitely recommend them!

Vinwood Caterers did an amazing job! We wanted our wedding to be a party - open bar, fun food and lots of dancing. We wanted everyone to enjoy the food, but not be tied to their seats for 3 courses. We decided to do a cocktail style reception with some tapas style stations. We totally made up our own menu (Sliders & Fries, Chinese Take-Out and Mac 'n Cheese Bar) and Vinwood ran with it!

They made some suggestions, added some things and scheduled everything perfectly. We got married at Glen Magna with the reception under a tent.and it poured! I'm not just talking rain, I mean torrential downpour rain! Vinwood didn't miss a beat. The rain didn't appear to affect them at all. Everything came out on time and was delicious. Guests absolutely loved the food and said it was the best they've had at a wedding.

During the planning process, you do end up dealing with a few different people. We had two in-person meetings with two different people, and then a third person was there on the day of our wedding. In the planning process, we exchanged emails with a couple of different people, but bottom line, all questions were always answered and everything was taken care of.

They do not do tastings, which I understand can be nerve-wracking, but you need to trust the reviews. The food is amazing. Everyone loved it. Besides, what guaranty do you have that the event food will be as good as the food at a tasting? I can't cook, but I could probably make a delicious meal for 4-6 people. Anybody could do that! How do you know it'd be just as delicious for 130 or more people?

You don't know that. Vinwood doesn't do tastings and the reality is they don't have to. Their reputation is strong enough and the positive reviews are numerous enough so they don't need to waste time and money on that step. Frankly I was happy to not have to deal with that. There's enough going on with wedding planning as it is, so not having to attend a tasting was fine by me! Also, the staff is incredibly hardworking, very friendly, and easy to deal with.

Do not be afraid that Vinwood does not do tastings. You won't need one. I just worked with them on my reception and although I barely got to eat anything, I saw our guests going up for at least seconds. We had so much cake left over because everyone was so full from the wonderful dinner. Luckily they gave my husband and I little To-Go boxes to have later that night.

We first chose Vinwood because they were on the preferred list of the venue we chose. Then after speaking with them, they not only had an extensive list of delicious food offerings (including pumpkin ravioli), they said that it was no problem for them to work with my husband's gluten allergy (which they did VERY well). Vinwood is also priced unbelievably reasonably for the quality of food you are getting.

They were also priced below all the local competition. Besides the food itself, all of the staff is great too! From before to the day of. They respond to every email/inquiry with efficiency usually within an hour. They have great ideas to work with what your want, but do not tell you what to do. The day of everyone is so helpful and friendly. Vinwood made our crazy day that less crazy.

They were a vendor that we didn't not have to worry about what-so-ever. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I ever needed to. Their only downfall is that they don't accept credit cards. But they are totally upfront with every monetary item along the way. No hidden charges with them.

Oh my gosh, where to even start with how great Vinwood is? We came into this process of wedding planning very wary of getting ripped off, hidden fees, bait-and-switches, etc. Vinwood happily put up with endless questions, contract changes, etc from us to ensure we were completely happy with our package and knew what to expect. We were a little nervous about the lack of tasting but considering with the menu they send you 3 pages of references, we took that as good enough. Well, our wedding was 2 weeks ago and we could NOT have been happier!

The food was *amazing*, the set-up and decor were way way better than any of the details I had planned, the staff was absolutely lovely. My mother told me they were calling her "Mrs. E" all night and made sure all her needs were catered to (as an aside: *I* was their client, not my mother). The staff was really wonderful to us and did a great job turning over our room since we had to enact the dreaded rain plan for our outdoor wedding.

Everything went smoothly and shockingly - there were no crazy overcharges or hidden service charges that we had been warned to look out for with all of our vendors. We worked with Ray and he is seriously one of the nicest people I met during the entire process of planning my wedding. Vinwood FTW!

Vinwood catered my wedding reception this past weekend. The guests had nothing but good things to say about the food. The crab cake appetizers & fish chowder were especially popular. My dad had 2 servings of the baked haddock and wished he had room for more. The servers did a great job dealing with bad weather conditions, as they had to protect food from the pouring rain on their walk from the prep area to the party tent.

We chose to go with Vinwood based upon their great reputation, and also because they really covered all the details on their initial proposal. This made the event planning all the easier. The only downside would be that they do not offer a tasting. Their food is legit and I would highly recommend. Overall we had a really great service by the Vinwood chefs, cooks & servers.

When I was planning my wedding, I visited many caterers before making my decision. Although I didn't choose Vinwood Caterers, I just want to share why. Their pricing was the cheapest out of any caterer I found out of our selection of North Shore caterers. They do have great reviews (from the internet, and from people we know) and they did make a great first impression on us.

In fact, they made to the final caterers we chose from. They worked with our budget and seemed like they could handle a 150 person wedding with ease. The main reason we didn't hire them? They wouldn't give us a tasting of their food prior to our hiring them. Perhaps, they don't do tastings in order to cut costs but that didn't seem like a valid enough reason for us.

We believe that we should experience the product before paying thousands of dollars. We asked them a few times if they would reconsider and they wouldn't do it. We chose another caterer that offered everything we wanted AND let us taste his food before making a final decision.

Liz P. has it right. Amazing. I'll go so far as to say Stellar. Vinwood catered our wedding, at the Smith Barn in Peabody, MA. A few weeks before, I had contacted the administrator of the Barn to talk about details. She happened to mention that she was throwing a party for someone, and that despite the fact that almost every catering service in New England wanted to cater the party for free, she went with Vinwood and paid full price. That's how good they are.

Their staff is a well-oiled machine, courteous, efficient, and exTREMEly helpful to everyone. We asked for an extra plate of apps to keep at our table. Not to worry, it was refreshed every few minutes. When we wanted to sit down and eat, the staff fixed us a plate. And the food. Oh my god, the food. We had a clambake with lobster (perfectly steamed with drawn butter and broth) BBQ chicken (moist, lip-smackin' and awesomely sauced), steamers, and a bunch of sides.

Everything was amazing. Like, for reals amazing, not just "the caterers were pretty good". If you have any kind of event, anywhere in New England, and want to lock up the best catering food anywhere, pick these guys and don't even give 'em a second thought. PS the ice cream sundae bar is a rip-roaring good time.

Vinwood is nothing short of amazing. Vinwood catered our wedding at Glen Magna in October 2008. The staff was excellent: professional, attentive, and accommodating to a few special requests that came up last minute. During our photos, they followed us around with drinks and appetizers to be sure we didn't miss out. The food was excellent! Along with 6 scrumptious hors d'oeuvres we had selected, we chose the Harvest Salad (mixed greens, dried cranberries, spiced walnuts, goat cheese, sliced pears, walnut vinaigrette) and Prime Rib with Twice-Baked Potato and Green Beans with Cashews for the (plated) entree.

Everyone raved about the dinner, and we were definitely impressed. Prime Rib is a personal favorite of ours, and Vinwood did not disappoint! Our experience with Vinwood was truly perfect. I had heard great things prior to booking them, and they went above and beyond expectation.
