The salad bar is ridiculously good. Love to get a bit of varieties and this does the trick. Sandwiches and breads are fantastic and great quality. My only wish is you could get patty melt during the day. Once I saw that was a menu option you had me at Patty Melt! So glad you are here in the neighborhood. Beer selection is great too.

Best Tuna salad I've had in years. This year for Passover ordered the Sedar Box for 4 and added one extra salmon since there were five of us. Also ordered the glazed corned beef. The Matzoh Ball chicken soup was delicious. My family loved it. All the food was scrumptious. So glad we chose Gourmet Girls to cater our Passover Dinner. Joyce Geller

Salad bars were enticing and we're just as good as they looked. Same for prepared foods, . Looked delicious. It was! Only one half of the space is used for merchandise, the other for sitting and enjoying your food. So it always looks so empty, unloved. But then I go close to closing time. So what should I expect?

This is such a quaint little spot to buy and browse with a variety of gourmet food items and beverages including alcohol. I had frequented the Owings Mill location before and well as the former gourmet market in Pikesville before the arrival of GG. The dine-in area (indoor) sits past the cashiers and has all the ambience you need to enjoy your experience at Gourmet Girls. Even my husband wouldn't mind coming back.

Went here today and was completely disappointed. They made "The Ray Lew 52" sound so good on the menu but that was far from the case. One of my coworkers ordered The Gator and said that it was awful and he'd NEVER order from this place again. We spent roughly $300 for lunch and the cashier seemed to have an attitude because I wanted some of the order separated.

Ordered delivery from here today and unfortunately cannot recommend. The food arrived in 30mins which was fantastic yet the food was super cold and runny. Ordered a veggie omelette that was bland/unseasoned and 10mins after eating, made me feel really nauseous. The Crispy French toast looks great on display but there were no delivery options to include syrup which left it dry and unpalatable.
I also ordered home fries but was given fruit instead which no communication about the swap. Not sure if I caught the kitchen at a bad time or what but I'd suggest other options than eating here until improvements

Never knew this place was here as there is no signage on the road but thanks to Yelp I stopped in. It takes a while to go through their menu that gas lots of options. Shrimp salad is very good, so are the reuben's. The crab soup is good but could use a bit more kick. Prices are fair for the quality and portion sizes.

I went to Gourmet Girls this week with some co-workers for a break from the office. The space is beautiful and inviting with plenty of unique treats lining the shelves and refrigerator cases. Their menu provides so many options ranging from standard delis sandwiches to local inspired favorites. I ended up choosing the turkey reuben and was met with a beautifully toasted sandwich packed high with delicious ingredients.
It was so big I only ate half and saved the rest for the next day. In full transparency this helped in swallowing the cost of the sandwich. My only critique of the space is the cost. Each sandwich costs approximately $10, with sodas and chips a la carts ranging from $2.49 to $5+ I will definitely come back but will be sure to budget that week accordingly.

This review is strictly for the new location on Old Court Road. When I first went there, I would have given them 4 stars. But lately, I have noticed personnel turnover for the worst. The people behind the counter were knowledgeable, and the selection of prepared food was excellent. Lately they have sparse lackluster prepared food. And when the person behind the counter was asked about one of the items, she just shrugged and gave a generic answer.
I don't know why the community is not supporting them, or why management doesn't demand more from their staff. But it's not the same as the Owings Mills location.

My first experience with their yummy food was when my daughter ordered it in advance and picked it up as my Mother's Day Brunch. Due to the pandemic, everything was being ordered for pickup at that time. I had the Chesapeake Omelette and their Rum Glazed Banana French Toast. OMG! So fresh and so good! Perfect way to feel celebrated. The French toast was to die for!
On 11'20'20 I went over to check out the digs and grab lunch for me and my Sidekick. The restaurant/store combo is set up so nicely. The staff was very pleasant, they talked to me about the owners and the history of the store and guided me on some tasty lunch options to choose from. For me, I got Kayla's Boom Boom Shrimp Wrap and The Nava chicken sandwich was suggested for my daughter, we got fries to accompany our sandwiches and I couldn't walk away from the Peanut Butter Smith Island cake!
Again the food was DE-LISH and I'm glad I went in for my order, got a chance to chat with the super cool staff. I'll be back to try another one of their family inspired dishes.

I would give 3.5 stars based on the variety of items on menu and price. They also offer nice things in the store and the set up is really nice. It was my first time visiting and I wasn't sure how things went, it's a little different from your average restaurant. But the young girl at the register when my husband and I came in was not very helpful.
We figured it out and ordered paid for our food and drinks ( didn't know they offered fountain beverages they are behind the wall) had a seat. Same young girl from register brought one plate out and said the other is almost done. Someone told her never so that you wait for both. Anyway I was waiting for flatware to eat with. No one told me to get my own plastic ware or syrup or napkins. Well at least my husband enjoyed his meal, mine was pretty good. I will give it another shot but probably as a to go order.

Have gotten brunch take out here multiple times, and they never disappoint! My all time favorite has to be the rum glazed banana French toast. It is all the sugary goodness that anyone could want, combined with quality challah bread, candied nuts, and crispy egg-spillage on the ends which is the icing on top! The home fries are also a go to, very flavorful. Have had some bites of other dishes, all good, but can't bring myself to order anything but the French toast!

My sister worked here for a month and they still haven't paid her. Working for a restaurant is hard, yes, but it's much worse when there's no training and little to no communication from superiors. Oh, and most of their baked goods are not "fresh". They're delivered prepackaged goods. The food might be decent, but it's definitely not as advertised.

I was running errands and was in the area so we decided to get some carryout here. I called to place my order and got two sandwiches, Where is old courthouse road anyway and moonlight in Vermont. I've never been and asked for a recommendation with a salad and I can't remember the name but it was so refreshing! It had strawberries, apples, pecans, feta?, tomatoes and greens.
They used to have a salad bar but they've been premaking salads for a grab and go due to covid. Oh I also got some sweet potato fries but by the tine I got home they weee soggy and really not worth mentioning. Everything else was really good! Both the sandwiches were loaded with meat--they really don't cheat you! The inside had some quick grocery items like snacks and pasta and probably a lot more but I was strictly grab and go so I didn't explore too much. I'm a big stickler with covid precautions and the place was actually impressed with how it's in a pretty quiet location.
I feel like the area was mostly office buildings/industrial. They had 3 tents set up outside their parking lot for additional outdoor dining and envisioned myself actually dining out here (I haven't yet since it's outside my comfort level at the moment.) It was a Sunday afternoon and some tables were filled but not all. I also liked how everyone got their own tent! I've seen many restaurants in passing and I truly don't feel comfortable with how many tables are crammed into one small area as they try to adhere to the 6 feet rule. I really want to come back and try their crunchy French toast! So maybe next time!

I'm torn for this review. I'll start with the good. Good- staff was very friendly and the food was prepared pretty quickly. They offered a lot of different options- sandwiches, soups, salad bar, small lunch bar, different sides, etc. I got the Vermont Sandwich. The sandwich itself was delicious. I really liked all of the flavors and it was really well done.
I also liked that they had pickles for people to add to their sandwich or eat on the side. I'm a pickle lover so this was great. They also had a good amount of seating for people who want to eat in. Bad- for a drink, sandwich, and small side I paid 16 dollars. That's a pretty pricey lunch. I definitely wouldn't eat here often as I can't buy lunch for almost 20 dollars every day.
I got a side of cucumber/onion salad. I typically love this dish but I couldn't even finish it today. I have never had a cucumber salad I didn't like. This had an oily too seasoned taste. I had the taste and smell of onions on my breath all day. I chewed two pieces of gum and it still was there. Usually the onion is marinated and very subtle with the cucumbers. I would definitely not get that again.

I've been going to Gourmet Girls on and off for several years and I must say the quality of the food could use some improvements. A few years ago I ordered the French toast, it was just meh, and also the temperature of the food was lukewarm. I've also had the Ray Lew 52, again it was nothing spectacular, it sounds good, I believe it comes with shrimp salad, crab cake, bacon, and which ever bread you choose.
The food was not hot as usual, not sure why their food is never piping hot, but for the prices GG charges, the food should be hot and taste great. Fast forward to now, I gave them another chance, and I ordered an egg salad sandwich on ciabatta bread I believe. The egg salad was a little on the bland side and the bread was stale. I've also tried their chicken quesadilla special and not only was it disgusting but it was lukewarm.
The chicken had chunks of gristle and it tasted like it was a few days old. It came with salsa, sour cream, black beans and rice. The beans were undercooked and seasoned poorly. I'm not a big salt lover, however other seasonings such as cilantro, oregano, can really pep up a dish! I believe I spent about $10 or $12 for that nasty crap. So all in all I would not return, honestly they don't deserve a rating on 3 stars it's closer to 2.5.

Imagine my surprise to find this gem in my area. From the initial pull up to the final purchase was a wonderful experience. Was greeted as soon as I walked into the establishment. Along the wall are products for sale in take home form as these are the same spices, sauces, jams that are used to cook with. The salad bar was filled with just the right ingredients.
The wall had a huge selection of breakfast items as well as lunch sandwiches to purchase it was soo hard to choose. I did decide on the Ray Lew and the Shrimp salad. There was a special on a crispy French toast but that will have to wait for another time! Will definitely return!

I enjoy Gourmet Girls for several reasons. 1) it is the true definition of a hidden gem. It's located in an unassuming business park. 2) the menu is pretty extensive ( in a good way) there is always something available for any appetite. 3) they have a customer reward program that allows you to earn points towards future purchases 4) they sell gourmet packaged goods (i.e., pancake mixes, mustards, oils, snack, etc, ) 5) breakfast is served all day on the weekend 6) I was told they could make me whatever I wanted as long as I had time :) Today I wanted an open faced bagel sandwich not featured on the menu.
I was accommodated which was greatly appreciated but, unfortunately, I did not enjoy my personalized creation. No worries, next time I'll just stick to the items on the menu. My favorite is Lisa B's brisket. If you are on the fence about what to order you will never be disappointed with either the brisket breakfast bagel or brisket lunch sandwich. Also, they always seem to carry the Maryland Smith Island cake, which I understand is as classic as old bay seasoning. If the weather is nice sit outside on the patio. When the weather is not accommodating sit inside and enjoy free drink refills as you enjoy your meal.

This was a favorite spot of mine for lunch when I lived in Maryland. So I was very excited to go while I was visiting. They have the most humongous salad bar you have ever seen. Not like what you see at a buffet restaurant. This salad bar has freshest field greens and vegetables as well as many different salads such as cucumber and pasta. And don't get me started on their desserts.
I bought a package of five small black bottoms while I was there. These little things are like a drop of heaven. They have a great menu as well but I tended to stick with the salad bar because they have so many items you can eat something different for days. And you probably get about 8 to 10 choices of salad dressing. You can dine in or take out. It's located in a business park and they stay busy non-stop. My suggestion would be to go in at 11:30 or 11:45 AM, to beat the rush.
