Food was mid tier a bit pricey for what you get. Excellent selection of wine but the restaurant needs a revamp forsure definitely out of date

What a gem of a restaurant! Ordered the London Broil and it melted in my mouth. Just incredible. Great service and great food. I'll be back when I'm here in Wichita.

Food is always delicious and had great presentation! We love coming here as it's a delight to dinner where it's quiet enough to have conversations. Very safe with Covid. Only downside this time was we were there for lunch(usually do dinner) and new waitress has more training to learn. Hoping she'll follow the lead of other wait staff and learn quickly.

Cafe Bel Ami is an absolute Wichita icon! The care they put into your dining experience is felt the moment you walk through the door. The old world ambience fits naturally with the attentive service, and the food is never anything less than decadent. The curated beer and wine list is really well thought out. I especially enjoy the variety of wine splits they have available. Three cheers for the owner. Cafe Abel Ami is a gem, but he's a crown jewel.

I honestly don't know how we managed to find this restaurant, but we are very glad we did. One of our favorite places for lunch; serene atmosphere, attentive service, and amazing food.

This place gets an OMG. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Hidden gem if there ever was one.

You have to dine here! The food was amazing! We both got the Bel Ami Trio, soup was broccoli cheese, and an appetizer of cheesey artichoke dip, finished off with chocolate devine cake. Every bite was better than the last. On the trio entree, each part was a splendid separate taste. They were in harmony but distinctly different. Our waitress was Joy and she was a joy! She was attentive but not obtrusive. I wish this place was in Ft Worth! I would definitely be back!

My wife and I have visited Cafe Bel Ami over the last 20 years. We decided to celebrate both our daughters birthday on the same night last Friday, August 7. We were met with a familiar face, the GM named George who remembered us and welcomed us to the best table in the house which was a seven top. We had one of the best waiters named Matt, he took great care of us and provided some of the best service we've had in Wichita or by any 5 star restaurant we have been to in a very long time.

His attention to detail and general knowledge of how customers have different preferences left him open for suggestions which only made for the best experiences we've had in a very long time. They made us Mushroom soup on the fly for our party and the food flavor, quality and presentation was superb! The cut of beef as well as the seafood was exceptional!

The peppercorn sauce is ever bit equal to our recent visit to San Francisco restaurants. Everyone in our party felt that Matt, George, the quality and great food Cafe Bel Ami made a Birthday experience even that much greater and it's a restaurant that is clearly Wichita's hidden treasure. I would strongly suggest you try them out hey make sure to tell George and Nabil that David and Kelley Cox sent you.

Because it's close to my office and is maybe the only place in Wichita with Beef Stroganoff on the menu, this is a great place for business lunches. Great food, attentive but not disruptive service and an inviting atmosphere makes it a go to foe me. Held a business dinner at CBA last night. The food was exceptional, including a couple of terrific specials. Our waiter could not have done a better job.

Met a friend for a special meal. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the Chicken and Shrimp Poivre. The atmosphere was quaint and classy. Would certainly dine here again.

The food is worth every penny! If your looking for a classic feel and an amazing meal, I would definitely suggest you give this place a try! I would recommend the Delmonico! Absolutely thee best steak in Wichita!

First time at Cafe Bel Ami and what a great experience it was. The food was delicious. The fantastic service and hospitality from Megan was exceptional. Cafe Bel Ami is a cosy place for a great dinning experience. Will surely visit again. Thank you Megan for making our experience a memorable one.

Great food and even better service. We got the scallops for our appetizer, I got the 12oz special for my entree and my husband got the 12oz KC Delmonico I believe is what its called. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the steaks were just the right temperature. The drinks we got were great as well. This is definitely a hidden gem downtown and we'll be back.

Don't know how I've not been here before but will definitely return. Beautiful facility, professional and courteous staff. Had the a la Napoli chicken and shrimp. Excellent sauce, slightly spicy many flavors and textures with this dish. Now for the bread pudding; light, crunch, tart, sweet I would say best bread pudding in Wichita. Definitely recommend this for a relaxing dinner or a special night out.

We love this place! This is the first place we go every time we are in town. The food is phenomenal every time! You can't beat the service they are so accommodating and so sweet! If you have not been here you are missing out!

The owner is gracious!. the servers are exceptional!. the food?. O M G the food is incredibly delicious!. if you love seafood?. order the seafood melange!. I don't care for rice normally but this dish is to die for!. the filet mignon is so good and tender!. excellent beer from all over the world. the decor is French Mediterranean and although it's business casual, they welcome you in whatever your attire may be!. THIS IS A MUST TRY AT LEAST ONCE!

There is no better place for lunch in all of Wichita! I travel here 10 times a year from OC. The food is fantastic, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Mood is quiet and classy. Best of all the prices are unbelievably priced, all under $12. Try the lemon salmon with beautiful fresh vegetables, red potatoes and a wonderful sauce. This place should be packed! You are missing it Wichita residents!

Very nice atmosphere, off the beaten path. Neighborhood is not that great but just ignore that.trust me! I had the greatest steak I've ever had in Wichita, and we've been to every steakhouse in town. My husband had the lamb shank and it was out of this world! The meat literally fell off the bone. Would recommend this 10 out of 10 times! It's a bit pricey for every weekend dining but less expensive than most of the steakhouses around.

This place is like a hidden treasure! You'd never know this was located down town! Awesome food, great wine, & the atmosphere brings it all up a notch! Highly recommended!

The exterior of the restaurant is underwhelming, but Cafe Bel Ami packs a lot of style and flavor. I had the salmon special with a creamy dill sauce. Everything was exceptional. This is a great place to have an elegant dinner in downtown Wichita.

Don't underestimate the yell pictures that others have posted! I saw delicious food on every yelpers picture but I did not know the quantity! You will definitely get more than meets the eye. Starting from the fattoush salad for $4.50, if you add it to an entree. We also ordered the shrimp ravioli. BTW, don't expect little cocktail shrimps.

They were jumbo sized shrimps with a creamy white sauce stopped cheese ravioli. Another was the chicken with brown gravy. Both plates include a small size of their vegetables. And also accompanying the main course you will get a small loft of softly bake baguette bread with some butter. For the most part, the price were incredibly affordable, the food was deliciously large, and the customer service was on point. Will definitely be back to one of Wichita's hidden gem!

We had a great experience here at Cafe Bel Ami! Food was delicious and service was good. We ordered steak and shrimp and a seafood over rice dish. We had a scallop appetizer and also dessert. Everything tasted great! Streak was tender and flavorful. We asked for sauce on the side since we love to enjoy the steak flavor on its own. I highly reccomend this restaurant.

A staple of downtown. Consistently delicious food. I've been visiting Cafe Bel Ami since 2003 and I've never had a bad meal or poor service. Salads and veggies are always amazingly fresh and tasty. Make sure you try the fattoush salad--it's the best in Wichita. My go-to entrees are the curries. So flavorful! My husband says you can't go wrong with the filet. Don't forget to try a dessert!

First time visit met with a couple that were regulars who made recommendations. We tried a little bit of everything. Appetizer, salad, soup, entrees and dessert. We were impressed. The braised lamb shank was amazing, I had the Bel Ami trio which was very good and a perfect portion. The bread pudding for dessert with the fruit compote was to die for.
