In 1955, when we opened the very first Chelo's Restaurant in Cumberland, Rhode Island, we knew that our guests were the most important ingredient. The General Manager is a hands-on position with complete responsibility for all restaurant related functions, systems and processes. You will perform operational duties, supervise the leadership team and crew employees' activities and ensure the overall integrity of the restaurant. Your active involvement will be in achieving outstanding guest services, build sales and provide sound cost controls so they will result in timely, consistent, and superior performance to your restaurant and your guests.

Came here after a friend's suggestion. We were not disappointed. It was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon. We reserved our table online. We arrived 15 minutes early and were sat a few minutes later. Quick and friendly service. Food and drinks were great. There was even live music. No complaints at all. We will definitely be back

First the positives. The waitstaff was super nice, and the food was good, and the band was awesome. Negatives. Parking was atrocious. There were no entrance signs so we were there for 30 minutes before another customer told us we needed to find the hostess to seat us. Our waitress kept forgetting to bring us drinks and then would remember as she walked by. In all fairness, it was busy.

It was a very busy evening with the live band getting ready. Definitely needed reservations. The service was quick and the food arrived hot. The buffalo chicken wrap was a bit spicy for my wife but the server gladly helped her replace it with a milder version. The drinks were a little on the high side but they didn't skimp on the pour. The chowder and clam cakes were just the right start. Definitely a do over. And thank goodness for the valet parking.

First time here. Came with my daughter for early dinner date around 330-4 on a Tuesday. Beautiful day so we sat outside on slightly heated deck. Would have been nice if they turned up heat near us or at least asked. Our server was Mitchell. He came over in a timely manner and We ordered our drinks along with our appetizer, 6 little necks. Following that shared the Berry salad, quahogs and a lobster roll.
All the food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular. The service was decent but dropped the ball by not returning unfortunately until after we were completely finished with dinner and decided to sit inside to finish our drinks. Disappointing considering that it was not busy at all, not into season yet. I do want to say, Special Recognition to RANDY & huge thanks for seeing my daughter's wallet that she forgot outside at table! Thank you so much! Overall the atmosphere is the big draw here. The food is good but average and the service was same. I will definitely be back for another try.
