We would love to help develop the perfect menu for your event, tailored around your tastes and using the freshest ingredients of the season. Epic Catering specializes in Wedding Receptions. We will take care of every detail from the time you get engaged to when the last guest leaves the party. Built in 1927 in Spanish architectural style, their extraordinary Clubhouse sits on a half-acre of stunning ocean view property in Point Loma, San Diego. The well-tended, often blooming gardens offer an inviting entrance into the charming San Diego event venue.

I literally cannot sing enough praises for Lisa and the Epic Catering team! I am an extremely anxious person. I live on Seattle and had absolutely no idea how to plan a wedding, let alone remotely from Seattle. I told Lisa the contingencies I needed for my big day and she immediately thought of a menu for my vegan friends, Asian relatives, and generally diverse friends/family.
On top of linens, tableware, etc., Epic Catering offered me one of the best and most reasonable proposals! Even with all this, I was so nervous about the day being a mess. The team are absolute sweethearts! I watched them go about their business asking if I needed anything, if my vegan friends needed more food, or if anyone in general needed anything.
They are the type of people you can tell actually care about what you want. Food was amazing. My relatives are generally very picky but they quite enjoyed the whole day. Lisa MADE SURE my husband and I ate while running around at the reception.

Epic Catering was great all the way through from beginning to end! We had a great time getting to know their chefs at an in-home tasting. We really felt like we got to know Lisa and the heads of her team. She brought her expertise to the table and you could tell in her work. She made sure we were taken care of and also made considerations with us in mind after the wedding which we really appreciated. The food was great! Huge menu and wide range of capabilities. Epic catered my daughters wedding last weekend. Everything was amazing! Lisa and her crew are great to work with and attended to every detail. These people are pros and will make your event so effortless. My guests raved-about all of the food and I have some serious "foodies". On top of the amazing food and service was the fact that pricing is so fair. They left our venue spotless with time to spare in our out deadline. Planning an event? Lisa and her team are amazing! This review is a bit overdue as she provided catering for my wedding in June. From our first meeting, she made my husband and I feel at ease. We truly had NO IDEA what our vision for our wedding meal was. We knew we wanted something tasty, family style, and at our price point. Lisa helped to focus our vision and being clarity to it.
My favorite thing was that she wasn't pushy about us making the decision to go with her. We had very negative experiences with other catering companies that were larger and had a sales team. Lisa let her food and her demeanor speak for itself. This was an easy decision! Lisa has been in the business for years and knows what she's doing. She was able to provide everything we wanted and was able to get things to meet our budget. The food was incredibly delicious and her staff was very attentive.

5 STARS! Epic Catering has done my wedding, my sisters wedding and my sister in laws wedding. The food and value are unmatched by any other in SD. Most places take advantage of you and hike prices the second you say wedding. Lisa is honest, an amazing chef and the staff are all very fun, friendly and reliable.

Lisa was in all honesty the best catering experience we've had by far. She catered our wedding in October 2018 and leading up to the wedding we got to enjoy a full tasting, excellent communication and even an opportunity to have her team be apart of our day of coordination (for an excellent price). We chose a Hawaiian Buffett and they decorated the buffet more beautifully than I could imagine. Lisa herself kept our wedding on track and the service was above and beyond. We used her services for our company party as well. Never disappoints

This review is long overdue. I was married in July and Lisa was our caterer. We chose her because she really is the best value for the money in the entire county. Her cooking is incredible! She also really tries to go above and beyond to help her couples. She loaned us a gorgeous cake stand and gave us the option to use some of her decor pieces if we wanted.
She really is invested in your day and will give your guests the best meal they've ever had at a wedding. With that said, a couple things we agreed upon were not executed at the end of the night. The entire top tier of our cake was tossed out instead of coming home with us, We had also ordered two boxes of bite-sized desserts which were not delivered, and part of our contract was that Lisa and her team were bringing the mixers for our bar (they didn't and had to run out and buy them right before the ceremony).
I genuinely would recommend Lisa to anyone because she truly does care, her food is out of this world and she is a great value. I would just say that you'll need to review EVERYTHING with Lisa several times before the day to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Overall- great vendor though.

My wife and I chose Epic Catering for our wedding reception at the Thursday Club this August and we feel so lucky to have had Lisa and staff on our team. Our guests raved about the food and the service was excellent. Lisa and her team totally delivered on the day of which is the most important part of it all. Epic offered better food on a budget than any other approved vendor on the Club's list.
We chose a filet mignon roast and a mustard crusted chicken breast (shockingly tasty) along with yummy sides. Our hors d'oeuvres were seafood and a fantastic pork slider that I wish I had more of right now. The staff was courteous, professional and friendly even though it was on one of the hottest days of the summer. Epic is a small business and doesn't have a team of salespeople or a marketing staff to ensure a large volume of reviews.
We had to trust Lisa and the Thursday Club for having Epic on their approved list of caterers. Frankly, Lisa and her team deserve more reviews because they can cook and deliver. Lisa and her team catered my 50th birthday party. They did such a great job. Lisa took a real interest in my party I felt like I was part of her family. It is so rare to find someone who takes this kind of pride in their profession and has the ability to make it happen. I wish I could give 100 star rating.

Lisa and her team were amazing! They did a great job on the delicious food for my Grandfather's funeral service. They were on top of everything without being at all intrusive. Epic catering mastered the art of helpful in disguise. On top of everything they left the house cleaner than when they came. Outstanding. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

It was a pleasure to work with Epic Catering for our wedding ceremony and reception. The owner of the catering company, Lisa, met with us on multiple occasions prior to the event to get a good idea of our styles, wants, and needs for our wedding and reception. Lisa has a lot of experience in event management and provided us with a lot of good ideas for both the event and food options.
She also provided very reasonable prices and showed a willingness to work with us within our budget. Epic catering had the rental equipment and wedding decor set up and looking great prior to the event. Lisa and her staff ran the entire event very smoothly and quickly and discreetly rearranged rental chairs between the wedding ceremony and reception without notice.
Most importantly, our guests loved the food and we are still hearing positive reviews about the food weeks later from guests who attended. I would highly recommend Epic Catering for any type of event.

We had the pleasure of working with Lisa and her team for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The most important thing to us was great food and a fun experience for our guest. She went over and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. The food was amazing! Our menus were personalized with items from our first date and engagement dinner. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better.
Lots of flavor but balanced to please everyone's palate. We weren't thrilled about having our guests wait in a buffet line but also didn't want the formality of plated service. Lisa suggested "family style". It was awesome! Lisa has worked at Roy's, owned her own restaurant, and has been in the catering business full-time for quite awhile (+10yrs, I think).
She guided us through the process, from planning the menu, to talking us through the wedding timeline (she does a lot of weddings at ZLAC Rowing Club), and troubleshooting day-of problems. She was not only our caterer, she was also our day of coordinator! We hired Lisa and Epic Catering for our recent wedding in San Diego and she was AMAZING! Lisa was incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and I felt completely comfortable allowing her to handle many of the details of our wedding. We got rave reviews from our guests regarding the food and many people mentioned that her fillet was the best they had ever had! Lisa seamlessly ran the show at our wedding and even stepped in to help me repair my dress when it tore at the seam on the dance floor. I will forever be grateful to Lisa for helping this unorganized bride pull off a wedding with 95 guests on a very tight budget!

Lisa was recommended to me by a colleague six years ago when I was in a pinch for an event and needed someone to do an evening reception quickly and professionally. She blew my expectations out of the water. The food was amazing, the wait staff professional and courteous, and Lisa herself was a complete pleasure to work with. We asked Epic to cater a wedding rehearsal dinner at our home. We highly recommend them. Of several caterers, Lisa was the only one who offered to come to the house right away to look at the space and present a plan. In addition to a great Mediterranean-themed food menu, she organized all the necessary rentals and provided some of her own stock of equipment. Her team was hard-working and professional. The guests were more than impressed, as were we.

Wow. The food and presentation was amazing! Lisa and her team provided full catering for my rehearsal dinner.had I met them sooner I would have had them do my wedding too! Everything was wonderful.we had everything from an ahi poki appetizer and home made NY style meatballs to the freshest grilled halibut! I highly recommend this catering company and cant wait to plan my next party with them!
